Mets starter Zack Wheeler allowed two earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out 11 over seven innings in a win over the Miami Marlins on Friday. The win brings him to 3-2 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler now has 21 strikeouts over his last 14 innings, while allowing just four earned runs in that span. His ERA sits at 4.35 on the season, but that is inflated by the 11 earned runs he allowed in his first two starts. Over the last month, his ERA is a much better 2.92. He is currently scheduled to take on the Nationals in Washington in his next start.
