J.D. Davis hits 12th home run Monday

by Mike Maher | Athletics Correspondent | Tue, Aug 6th 10:15am EDT

Mets outfielder J.D. Davis went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBIs, and two runs scored across both games of Monday's doubleheader against the Marlins. The homer was his 12th of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis now has home runs and multiple hits in back-to-back games as he continues to see regular playing time in New York. With Dominic Smith and Robinson Cano both on the injured list, Davis should continue to see opportunities in the outfield. Through 263 at-bats this season, Davis is batting .300 with 12 home runs, 37 runs scored, 35 RBIs, and one stolen base.
