John King picks up win following scoreless seventh inning

by Andersen Pickard | Cardinals Correspondent | Thu, Apr 22nd 11:17am EDT

Rangers reliever John King entered in relief on Wednesday night against the Angels. He did allow two hits but was able to escape the jam without surrendering a run. He picked up his second win of the season in the process.

Fantasy Impact:

In such an interesting fashion, King continues to surrender hits without allowing runs. One bizarre indicator here is his WHIP (1.63) being higher than his ERA (1.13) through eight innings so far -- and most of his WHIP comes from hits as he has allowed just one walk.
