Matt Liberatore to be promoted and start for Cardinals on Saturday

Fantasy Impact:
In seven starts this year in Triple-A, Liberatore has a 3.83 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with strong strikeout numbers. He has good stuff, particularly an excellent curveball, though he lacks the velocity needed to be a top-flight starter. He's worth an add, and perhaps even a start in his debut against Pittsburgh, but temper expectations if you think you're stumbling onto a fantasy ace.
