Paul Perkins released by the Giants

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Giants have cut ties with running back Paul Perkins. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Apparently Perkins just underwent shoulder surgery from a non-football injury, making the Giants decision to cut him relatively easy, as he was someone who was on the roster bubble with the acquisition of Saquon Barkley. The former fifth-round pick will likely land somewhere, though he's just a depth chart guy. To this point in his career, he's totaled just 546 yards on 153 carries (3.57 YPC) with no touchdowns. He's droppable, even in most dynasty formats.
