Austin Hooper could have increased role in Browns offense

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski claimed that the team is attempting to grow TE Austin Hooper's role this season. (Nate Ulrich on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hooper was generally in the TE2 conversation all of last season, due to lack of volume in his first year with Cleveland, as he compiled 46 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns. However, it was merely two seasons ago when Hooper registered 75 grabs for 787 yards and six touchdowns on Atlanta, finishing as a top-7 TE in fantasy. He could be a strong sleeper to target in the final rounds of drafts with the Browns apparently looking to increase his usage in the passing game. On the other hand, it's difficult to ignore the presence of both sophomore Harrison Bryant and David Njoku, as they should remain involved.
