Trey Lance throws for two scores, adds 41 yards on the ground

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance completed 9-of-18 passes for 157 yards and two scores while picking up 41 rushing yards on seven carries in a Week 4 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Impact:

Starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a calf injury at some point in the first half and Lance took over under center on the opening drive of the second half. He sailed quite a few throws and had happy feet in the pocket but still managed to throw a pair of scores and pick up 41 yards on the ground. His 76-yard touchdown pass to Deebo Samuel came on a busted coverage by the Seattle secondary late in the third quarter. As of now, Garoppolo's status for next week's tilt against the Cardinals is unknown but Lance should be added in all formats regardless. He is still very raw as a passer but possesses a ton of upside with his legs.
