Deebo Samuel gets it done on the ground and through the air

by Jon Mathisen | 49ers Correspondent | Sun, Dec 19th 7:52pm EST

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel carried the ball six times for 29 yards and a score while adding four catches on five targets for 60 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Samuel played his usual complementary role in the San Francisco backfield, rushing six times for 29 yards. He added a 10-yard score on the ground just before halftime to break up a 10-10 tie as well. His five targets were the most he's seen since a Week 9 win over the Rams. It was nice to see him used more in the passing game and he'll likely be more heavily involved through the air going forward as starting running back Elijah Mitchell (concussion) should return next week against the Titans. Samuel will continue to operate as a WR1 in that matchup.
