C.J. Anderson finally breaks out in win over Packers

by Blake Glosson | Mon, Nov 2nd 12:15am EST

C.J. Anderson carried the ball 14 times for 101 yards and one touchdown in the Broncos' win over the Packers on Sunday night. He also caught one pass for five yards.

Fantasy Impact:

After a brutal start to the season that included zero touchdowns and an average of 30 rushing yards per game, Anderson finally had the type of performance that fantasy owners envisioned when they picked him in one of the first two rounds of fantasy drafts. Unfortunately, many owners probably benched him or even dropped him when the news broke that Ronnie Hillman would get the start against the Pack. Although Anderson's play was certainly refreshing to see, Hillman rushed for two touchdowns of his own on Sunday night, and this will continue to be a RBBC going forward, barring an injury to one of the two running backs.
