Antoine Roussel scored the only goal in the Coyotes' 1-0 win over the Jets on Monday. He was a plus one with one goal, two SOG, one hit and two blocks in 12:28 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact: It is astonishing that a man with three points on the season has goals in back-to-back games. Yet this is the case and he should be owned in 0% of leagues.

Jakob Chychrun scored a goal and tallied an assist in Arizona's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jackets on Thursday. He finished the game with two points, a plus-2 rating, two PIMs, a team-high seven shots and two blocks.

Fantasy Impact: Chychrun scored a beauty that tied up the game 4-4. The 'Yotes were trailing late and pressuring the Blue Jackets. They forced a turn over and found him floating in from the point. He released a laser-beam wrister past Merzlikins but they eventually fell in a shoot out. It's good news for fantasy managers who have held on to him through a tremendous point drought. Perhaps this sparks him and can get him going at a level he produced in 2020. Keep an eye on him moving forward. He has two goals and two assists and suffering a league-worst minus-22.

Phil the Thrill scores in loss

By Jeremy Farr

Phil Kessel buried an unassisted goal in Arizona's 5-4 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. He finished the game with a goal, an even rating, two PIMs, three shots and two blocks.

Fantasy Impact: Kessel unleashed a mighty wrister on Elvis Merzlikins and he only got 75% of it. It squeaked through and resulted in Kessel's third goal of the year. Unless you're in dire straights, rostering anyone from Arizona will more than likely hurt your team than help it.

By Jeremy Farr

Ryan Dzingel found the back of the net in Arizona's 5-4 defeat to the Columbus Blue Jackets. He finished the game with a point, a plus-1 rating, five PIM's, one shot and one hit.

Fantasy Impact: This was Dzingel's first goal of the season and it was nice screened wristshot from the top of the circle. Despite gaining the lead early they eventually lost and the Coyotes record fell to an abysmal 2-13-2

Andrew Ladd found the back of the net in Arizona's 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday. He finished the game with a goal, an even-rating, two PIMs, one shots, one block and three hits.

Fantasy Impact: His goal came on the man advantage. He made a nifty move at the point to get clear, skated into the slot and let a wrister go that beat Marc-Andre Fleury. The Desert Dogs lost the game and have one win on the season.

Boyd provided his secondary assist on the Coyotes' final goal in the 5-2 loss.

Fantasy Impact: He has two points in his previous two games, but playing on the third line in the putrid Arizona offense gives him no fantasy value.

Shayne Gostisbehere had a point on both Arizona goals (goal and an assist) in a 5-2 loss to Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact: Gostisbehere has been putting up decent numbers to start the year; he has 11 points in 13 games through Wednesday night. If you're desperate for options on defense, he's a solid one.

Per Adam Kimelman on Twitter, forward Nick Schmaltz is expected to be out 3-4 weeks with an upper-body injury. (Source: @NHLAdamK)

Fantasy Impact: With the Arizona Coyotes sitting at 0-8-1 coming into tonight, this may be the time to consider dropping Schmaltz for another player if you have an immediate need.

Taylor Hall scored a goal and added an assist during Arizona's 4-1 win versus Nashville in Game 3 of the best-of-five qualifying round series. He also had three shots on goal in 18:31 minutes of ice time.

Fantasy Impact: In three games played in this series, Hall has one goal and three assists with eight shots on goal. The Coyotes are up 2-1 in the series and have a chance to close it out on Friday. Hall was a sleeper pick in most fantasy pools, but should Arizona advance he has the possibility of being a great steal with the extra games played.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored his third goal of the season as the Coyotes defeated the Sharks 3-2.

Fantasy Impact: 2019-20 has been a down year for Oliver Ekman-Larsson, at least from an offensive perspective. OEL has 3 goals, and 12 points in 36 games this season. Throughout his career Oliver Ekman-Larsson has been a safe a bet to hit 40 points in most seasons. Well he will likely fall short of that this year, we should see a bit of an increase in production to end the season.

Dvorak has 5 points, 2 goals and 3 assists during his current four-game point streak.

Fantasy Impact: Christian Dvorak has 8 goals and 17 points in 29 games this year. The 23-year-old should eclipse his previous career high of 37 points this season. Still he isn't a recommended fantasy option outside of deeper leagues.

With the helper in Tuesday's 4-2 win, Goligoski now has at least one point in four of his last five games.

Fantasy Impact: Alex Goligoski is off to a good start in 2019-20. He has 17 points in 29 games, which has him tied for 20th-overall in points by defensemen. Goligoski has regularly topped 30 points throughout his career and 2019-20 will be no different. Fantasy owners can do a lot worse than Goligoski.

Hayton scored the game winning goal as the Coyotes beat the Devils 5-3.

Fantasy Impact: Barrett Hayton has had a difficult time getting in to the Coyotes lineup this season. However, he has produced when given the opportunity, 1 goal and 1 assist in 3 games this season. It remains to be seen how the Coyotes will use the 19 year-old, former 5th-overall pick, but Hayton could offer fantasy upside if he starts to get regular playing time. For now Barrett Hayton is merely a name to watch outside of dynasty leagues.

Brad Richardson scored a goal versus the Jets Saturday. He finishes the season with 19 goals.

Fantasy Impact: Even his good seasons of 21-31 points are low-level useful for a center in deeper leagues. He reached 27 points this season.

Vinnie Hinostroza recorded an assist Saturday versus Winnipeg. He was also called for a minor penalty.

Fantasy Impact: Hinostroza is young (just turned 25 years old) and coming off a 25 point season. He has outdone that this season with 39 points.
