Antonio Brown (WR - PIT)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Antonio Brown (WR - PIT)
Brown just completed the strongest month in fantasy football history for a wide receiver with 39 receptions for 627 yards and 6 touchdowns. At this rate, he looks like a lock to be the top overall pick next season in fantasy leagues.
Keenan Allen (WR - LAC)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Keenan Allen (WR - LAC)
Allen took a step back last game and still managed 6 receptions for 111 yards. That just goes to show how hot he has been. At this point, the only thing holding him back from being the top receiver on the planet is some guy named Brown.
DeAndre Hopkins (WR - HOU)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on DeAndre Hopkins (WR - HOU)
Even with TJ Yates under center and the fierce Jags' defense on the other side of the line of scrimmage, Hopkins is a WR1 because he will still get around 15 targets. He might not go for 150 and 2 TDs again, but don't even think about benching him.
Brandin Cooks (WR - NE)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Brandin Cooks (WR - NE)
Cooks had been so consistent all season, then over the past two weeks he has gone for just 3 receptions and 55 yards combined. While another bust to that degree is unlikely, he is merely a WR2 this week for the first time all season.
Michael Crabtree (WR - OAK)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Michael Crabtree (WR - OAK)
With Amari Cooper out, Crabtree should see another game with a dozen or more targets. Last week, he was only able to supply fantasy owners 60 yards, but this week against Dallas he is a low-end WR1.
Tyreek Hill (WR - KC)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Tyreek Hill (WR - KC)
Hill had been struggling for a while until the last two weeks when he has gone for 260 yards and 2 scores. While there is a chance he puts up another bust, his upside is too high to make him any less than a WR2 even against the Chargers.
Jarvis Landry (WR - MIA)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Jarvis Landry (WR - MIA)
Landry continued his hot streak last week with 2 more touchdowns against the Patriots. He now has 8 in his last 10 games and at least 5 receptions in every one of them. He is a high-end WR2 this weekend.
A.J. Green (WR - CIN)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on A.J. Green (WR - CIN)
Green has had a few busts this season and one is much more likely against Xavier Rhodes, who just might be the best corner in football. With that said, he is still a WR2 and ought to be started unless your roster is 100% stacked.
JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR - PIT)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR - PIT)
Juju had a rough go last week with just 17 receiving yards in his return from suspension, but he does have 30 targets in his last four games and is a must-start against the Patriots this weekend.
Josh Gordon (WR - CLE)
Sat, Dec 16
Player Note on Josh Gordon (WR - CLE)
Gordon's talent is unquestioned, but he does have just 7 receptions on 17 targets since returning and while much of that has to do with his signal caller, that part won't get any better this year. The matchup against Baltimore isn't great either and bumps him down to a WR3.
