Brandon McManus (K - DEN)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Brandon McManus (K - DEN)
Although McManus has just one field goal in three of the last four games, he is still among the leaders on the season and can be trusted this week at home with a useful game script in store against a lackluster Detroit defense.
Michael Badgley (K - LAC)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Michael Badgley (K - LAC)
Badgley has been great since returning from injury, as expected. With the likely game script against Oakland and their awful defense, you can expect another useful performance from Badgley with your championship on the line this week.
Younghoe Koo (K - ATL)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Younghoe Koo (K - ATL)
Koo has 17 field goals since signing with Atlanta 6 weeks ago. Essentially, he has been the top kicker in fantasy football. This week in the dome they've got a great matchup against a struggling Jags' defense so you should start him without hesitation.
Jason Myers (K - SEA)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Jason Myers (K - SEA)
Myers now has 24 field goals since Week 4 and is showing no signs of slowing down. This week with a useful game-script and great matchup versus Arizona, Myers should again see multiple field goal attempts and several extra-points.
New York Giants (DST - NYG)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on New York Giants (DST - NYG)
Now that Dwayne Haskins has taken over in Washington, it has become a popular trend to just find out who they are playing and use that defense. It just so happens to be the Giants this week and their defense has been playing much better of late.
Kansas City Chiefs (DST - KC)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Kansas City Chiefs (DST - KC)
You may not have noticed, but Kansas City has one of the top defenses over the past two months. With a juicy matchup in the cold against Mitch Trubisky, you can rely on the Chiefs' D/ST in your championship week.
Seattle Seahawks (DST - SEA)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Seattle Seahawks (DST - SEA)
Kyler Murray has been a truly remarkable rookie this year but that doesn't make up for the fact that his offensive line is a disaster and that Seattle's defense has been much better at home this season. They are among the top 12 options this week.
Denver Broncos (DST - DEN)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Denver Broncos (DST - DEN)
Denver has an unbelievable 34 sacks since Week 4 and Detroit likely won't do much to slow them down, especially if Denver gets an early lead. Add in the fact that Blough is likely to throw multiple picks and we've got ourselves a top D/ST.
Indianapolis Colts (DST - IND)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Indianapolis Colts (DST - IND)
Although Will Grier may be an upgrade for Carolina over the turnover-prone Kyle Allen, that is no guarantee. The fact of the matter, is that we have a strong defense versus a rookie QB who struggled quite a bit in the preseason. That makes Indy startable.
Jonnu Smith (TE - TEN)
Sat, Dec 21
Player Note on Jonnu Smith (TE - TEN)
Jonnu had a big game last week totally over 100 yards thanks to a 57 yard carry out of the backfield. While he is plenty talented, he isn't getting anywhere near enough starts to justify using in a bad matchup versus the Saints.
