Daniel Jones has a high-ankle sprain, is 'very likely' to miss Week 14

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is in a walking boot due to a high-ankle sprain and is "very likely" to miss this week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, according to Giants head coach Pat Shurmur. Eli Manning is expected to start in his absence. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

With the Giants having lost eight straight games, there is no reason for them to run their rookie quarterback out there if he is injured. Jones is owned in more than 60% of leagues but is started in fewer than 15% most weeks, so most fantasy owners should already have a backup plan. For owners in deeper leagues who are desperate for a streaming option this week, Eli Manning going up against a struggling Philadelphia secondary is an interesting matchup to consider.
