A.J. Brown (WR – PHI) UNDER 84.5 Receiving Yards

There’s no questioning the talent of eagles WR A.J. Brown. He didn’t miss a beat changing teams this offseason and has been a cornerstone of a potent Philadelphia offense. However, this is a week where QB Jalen Hurts and company can give the talented pass-catcher a break.

Philly visits the windy city this week to face off against the Chicago Bears. While they have been better as of late, they will be no match for one of the best teams in the NFL. This game will likely be out of hand early, and that will favor Hurts on the ground as well as RBs Miles Sanders and Kenny Gainwell. I fully expect Brown to be involved in the offense on Sunday, but with the likely return of TE Dallas Goedert from IR, this should be a low-volume affair for Brown. Based on the predicted game script, I’m taking the under on this receiving prop for Brown as a low-priority play.

Desmond Ridder (QB – ATL) OVER 0.5 Interceptions

This season, the QB shuffle in the NFL has been busy, and Week 15 brings us yet another shake-up. Atlanta has decided to bench veteran signal-caller Marcus Mariota, inserting rookie QB Desmond Ridder to make his first pro snaps with Week against the New Orleans Saints.

Head coach Arthur Smith is trying to wake up a stagnant offense that found mild success earlier in the season. The Falcons are in a lousy division and, despite being 5-8, are only a game out of first place. Ridder could provide the spark Atlanta needs to make a playoff run, but this week will be a tough first go. New Orleans is likely getting stand-out CB Marshon Lattimore back from injury and is averaging the league’s 10th most sacks per game (2.6).

Ridder is likely under constant pressure, which is no easy task for a QBs first professional experience. He’ll be rattled and make a mistake or two, and I expect at least one of those mistakes to lead to a turnover. So take the over on this interception prop with confidence as a high-priority play in Week 15.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR – KC) UNDER 5.5 Receptions

After being eased back into the Kansas City offense post-concussion, Chiefs WR Juju Smith-Schuster showed out in a big way in Week 14, catching nine of his eleven targets for 74 yards and a touchdown. Smith-Schuster showed when the team needed him, with Denver making an unexpected push that ultimately landed flat.

Week 15 is a different story for Juju and the Chiefs. They are traveling to Houston to face off with a Texans team that has been awful. While they caught the Cowboys resting on their heels last week, they haven’t won since Week 5 against Jacksonville, and they boast one of the worst all-around defenses in the league. So this is a game where head coach Andy Reid can rest the passing game and give most of the workload to RBs Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon.

Kansas City would be wise to keep the ball on the ground against the worst run defense in the league, and they will. So I’m taking the under on this prop and playing it as a high-priority play.

Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ) UNDER 70.5 Receiving Yards

I didn’t think I’d be heading into the Sunday slate smashing the under on a Garrett Wilson receiving prop, but here we are. News broke earlier this week that Jets QB Mike White wouldn’t be cleared in time to play this weekend. The fact he was even considered questionable is astounding, considering he suffered a broken rib last week. Rather than roll out veteran QB Joe Flacco in his absence, head coach Robert Saleh has decided to return to the previously benched Zach Wilson behind center.

No one besides Zach Wilson and his family is excited about his nod as the starter this week against Detroit. That includes rookie WR Garrett Wilson, who has seen a massive bump in production with White in at QB the last three weeks. The last time the “other” Wilson was behind center, Garrett had two catches for 12 yards. While I don’t expect it to be that dire for him this week, I don’t believe there will be enough passing volume to get close to this yardage prop. I’m easily taking the under here and slotting it in as a high-priority play this weekend.
