Fantasy Impact: McMillan will face an uphill battle for targets in an established wide receiver group in Tampa Bay. The Arizona Cardinals have selected RB Trey Benson with the 66th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: Ari Meirov on X)

Fantasy Impact: Benson joins James Connor, Emari Demarcado, and Michael Carter in the Cardinals' backfield. Although Connor will almost certainly stay above him on the depth chart to start the season, it is reasonable to assume Benson could be second string based on his third round draft capital. His standalone value could be limited if the Cardinals continue to to rely on James Connor, but will serve as a good handcuff.

The Carolina Panthers have selected RB Jonathon Brooks with the No. 46th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. (Source: Ari Meirov on X)

Fantasy Impact: Brooks is the first running back off the board in the 2024 Draft, likely drafted due to the lackluster running back performances by new teammates Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders. Both of Brooks' new teammates averaged less than 4 yards per carry last year, something Carolina needs to improve upon if they want to give QB Bryce Young a real chance to succeed. It remains a muddy backfield to predict until we see and hear more from training camp and practice.

The Chargers traded their second-round pick (37) and fourth-round pick (110) in exchange for the Patriots' second-round pick (34) and fifth-round pick (137). Considering the Chargers moved on from Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, McConkey should see plenty of targets in his rookie season.

The Buffalo Bills selected WR Keon Coleman with the No. 33 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact: After trading down twice out of the first round on Thursday, the Bills have selected Coleman out of Florida State. After trading Stefon Diggs, the expectation was they would draft a wide receiver early. They were also in the middle of rumors to potentially trade for Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel or Tee Higgins but this move likely leaves them out of that conversation.

Deebo Samuel is unlikely to be traded to the Bills or Patriots on Day 2 of NFL Draft. The 49ers are still receiving interest for Samuel at this time and are open to trading him. (Source: Jordan Schultz on X)

Fantasy Impact: After not drafting a wide receiver in Round 1 of the NFL Draft, the Bills and Patriots were two teams that were linked to acquiring Deebo via the trade market. Since it is unlikely this will happen for either team, expect both the Bills and the Pats to either draft a wide receiver and/or trade for one.
