Fantasy Impact: Koch has posted a 2.53 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP in 18 appearances in Triple-A. He will provide depth in the Rockies’ bullpen.

Ty Blach allowed six earned runs on seven hits and a walk over three innings, striking out three in the Rockies' 14-4 defeat to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, pushing his ERA further north and doing no favors for his WHIP. Given his 5.14 ERA and 1.43 WHIP, fantasy managers might be growing weary of any potential upside. His low strikeout rate (4.3 K/9) continues to limit his appeal in formats that reward strikeouts heavily. Without save opportunities or a significant role in holds, Blach's fantasy relevance remains minimal, primarily in very deep leagues or as a streaming option in favorable matchups, which, frankly, seem few and far between.

Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a walk in the Rockies' 14-4 defeat to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Despite the team's struggles, Rodgers managed to notch a couple of hits, though he couldn't contribute to the scoring or drive in any runs. His performance this season has been fairly average, with a .268 batting average and a modest power output. Rodgers' ability to get on base hasn't been particularly impressive either, as indicated by his low walk rate of .063. Fantasy managers might find him a reasonable option for middle infield depth, but his lack of impactful stats in key categories limits his upside in most formats.

Elehuris Montero went 1-for-4 with two RBI in the Rockies' 14-4 defeat to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Despite driving in a couple of runs, Montero's overall impact was limited in a game where his team struggled significantly. His season batting average remains low at .228, and with only modest power numbers (2 HRs, 6 doubles), his fantasy relevance is questionable in most formats. Montero's on-base skills are also underwhelming, as evidenced by his low walk rate (.074) and wOBA (.265). Fantasy managers should view him as a depth option at best, barring any significant turnaround in his offensive production.

Jacob Stallings is not in the Rockies lineup on Saturday against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Stallings gets the day off with Hunter Goodman starting behind the plate for Colorado.

Hunter Goodman is in the Rockies lineup on Saturday against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Goodman draws the start behind the plate for Colorado. He has just two hits over 21 at-bats on the season with both hits going for home runs.

By Ari Koslow

Sean Bouchard is in the Rockies lineup on Saturday against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: Bouchard gets the start in right field with Charlie Blackmon out of the lineup. He is hitting .235 with one home run so far on the season.

Fantasy Impact: Blackmon will take a seat on the bench with a left-hander on the mound for the Giants, with Brendan Rodgers occupying the designated hitter spot and batting second for manager Bud Black Saturday.

Ryan Feltner struggled in Friday's 10-5 loss to the Giants, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over four innings.

Fantasy Impact: This performance continues a concerning trend for Feltner, whose season ERA has now ballooned to 5.69. Despite a decent strikeout-to-walk ratio of 3.00 and a FIP that suggests some bad luck with a .349 BABIP, his high WHIP of 1.49 and low strikeout rate of 7.7 K/9 are red flags for fantasy managers. Given these metrics, Feltner remains a risky play in most fantasy formats, particularly in leagues that heavily penalize earned runs and hits. His inability to pitch deep into games further limits his appeal, making him a less desirable option for those seeking quality starts or wins.

Jordan Beck went 1-for-4 with a home run and an RBI in the Rockies' 10-5 defeat to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact: The young outfielder's solo shot was a rare highlight in an otherwise disappointing game for Colorado. Beck's season has been a struggle with a batting average of just .236 and a concerning strikeout rate of .382, indicating significant issues with contact. His power potential is evident with two homers now on the season, but his lack of discipline at the plate (zero walks thus far) severely limits his fantasy upside. Owners should view Beck as a high-risk, moderate-reward option, primarily useful in deeper leagues or formats that heavily reward power numbers.

Austin Gomber delivered a masterful performance in Wednesday's 8-0 victory against the Padres.

Fantasy Impact: He allowed no earned runs on just two hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings. This outing was a significant boost for Gomber, who entered the game with a solid 3.02 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP from his previous starts this season. His ability to limit the Padres to minimal baserunners helped lower his ERA and WHIP further, reinforcing his role as a reliable starter in fantasy lineups. Despite a modest strikeout rate of 6.2 K/9, his control and efficiency in games like this highlight his potential value, especially in deeper leagues or as a streaming option in favorable matchups.

Brenton Doyle went 1-for-4 in the Rockies' 8-0 win over the Padres with a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored.

Fantasy Impact: Doyle's performance, highlighted by his fifth homer of the season, continues to solidify his role in the Rockies' outfield and fantasy lineups alike. Despite a moderate strikeout rate, his ability to contribute across multiple categories, including power and runs scored, makes him a valuable asset in most fantasy formats. His .281 average and .340 wOBA indicate a consistent ability to get on base and score, which is critical for fantasy teams needing reliable outfield production.

Cal Quantrill delivered a solid performance in Tuesday's 6-3 victory over the Padres, allowing just one earned run on six hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings.

Fantasy Impact: Quantrill continues to anchor the Rockies' rotation, as he has now worked at least six innings while allowing one run or fewer in five of his last six starts. With a 3.66 ERA across 51 2/3 innings to this point, it's time for fantasy managers in deeper leagues to give him at least a bit of attention.

Ezequiel Tovar went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI as the Rockies edged the Padres 5-4.

Fantasy Impact: His performance also included a stolen base, though he struck out once. Tovar's season has been marked by solid hitting, maintaining a .272 average and contributing steadily with 44 hits and 16 RBI over 40 games. His ability to add stolen bases, now totaling four, provides an extra layer of value for fantasy managers. Tovar's performance in this game reinforces his role as a useful, albeit slightly risky, fantasy option due to his mix of power and speed.

Jalen Beeks had a shaky outing against the Rockies, walking three while allowing no hits and no earned runs over one inning in Monday's 5-4 loss.

Fantasy Impact: Despite not surrendering any hits, Beeks's control was off, as evidenced by the trio of walks he issued in a short stint. His performance this season has been solid with a commendable 2.21 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP, but his high walk rate and low strikeout numbers (6.2 K/9) continue to be areas of concern. The lack of strikeouts and high walk rate could be troubling signs for fantasy managers relying on him for ratios and strikeouts.

Jake Cave is in the Rockies’ starting lineup Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Cave will draw a start in left field and hit eighth against the Rangers. Cave is currently hitting .206 with three RBI this season.
