Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Rhamondre Stevenson, Ray-Ray McCloud, Rashod Bateman (2021)

We’re getting down to crunch time when making the right moves on the waiver wire can make a big difference during a title run. Unfortunately, the Week 11 waiver wire isn’t loaded with too many must-have targets who can completely alter your fantasy fortunes. However, there are plenty of intriguing options with starting potential, as well as some interesting names that might be worth stashing.

Here’s who you should be targeting on the waiver wire in Week 11. Keep in mind, none of these guys are players I’d spent a ton of FAAB on for what it’s worth.

Top 5 Waiver Targets of Week 11

Rashod Bateman (WR – BAL): 50%

This is your last week to get Bateman on your roster, as I’m stunned he’s still available in half of Yahoo! leagues. Bateman is an ascending talent who’s garnered at least six targets from Lamar Jackson in the last four weeks. He’s posted 80 yards in two of his previous three games. What’s preventing his fantasy stock from truly soaring is a trip to the end zone. Get Bateman before it’s too late.

Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NE): 32%

Stevenson will be the popular name of the Week 11 waiver cycle. The rookie was given a larger work share with Damien Harris, sidelined by a concussion, and he delivered. Stevenson rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns while catching four passes for 14 yards.

The problem is Stevenson’s long-term outlook isn’t as bright, assuming Harris returns to the field as early as this week. Stevenson is worth rostering, but trusting him to produce once Harris returns is risky.

Tim Patrick (WR – DEN): 33%

Patrick is worth adding as a WR3 with WR2 upside. He’s not the primary option in the passing game, but he gets his fair share of looks from Teddy Bridgewater. Patrick has garnered five targets in four of his last five games and has two touchdowns in that same span. He’s worth a roster spot.

Bryan Edwards (WR – LV): 18%

Edwards will be a volatile, tough-to-trust receiver, but at this point, who isn’t? Edwards made the most of his four targets Sunday night, catching three of them for 88 yards and a touchdown. He’s worth a stash as the Raiders continue to sort out their passing game.

Dan Arnold (TE – JAC): 26%

If you’re in the midst of a frustrating game of tight-end roulette, Arnold might be your answer. Arnold suddenly becomes one of Trevor Lawrence‘s favorite targets. He’s garnered 24 targets in his last three games and has 17 catches for 195 yards during that span. At a position as ugly as tight end, Arnold’s worth consideration.

Notable Players 30-50% Rostered

Boston Scott (RB – PHI): 32%

I was stunned to see Scott is only rostered in 32% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues. Miles Sanders is eligible to return from injured reserve this week, and Scott has been sharing touches with Jordan Howard and Kenneth Gainwell. But you can’t argue with 81 yards on 11 carries. Given the volatility of running back, Scott is worth stashing. I suspect he’ll get work even when Sanders returns.

Carolina Panthers D/ST: 30%

If you’re thinking ahead and looking for a defense to stream the next few weeks, consider Carolina. The Panthers forced two turnovers and held Arizona to just 10 points in Week 10, and faces Washington, Miami, and Atlanta the next three weeks.

Tyler Conklin (TE – MIN): 30%

Similar to Arnold, if you’re chasing any production at tight end, Conklin is an option. But keep in mind, Conklin had just two touchdowns on just three receptions. Again, Conklin is a break in case of an emergency option.

Marquez Callaway (WR – NO): 34%

I’m not overly high on any New Orleans receivers, but Callaway has a touchdown in his last two games. If you’re desperate, he’s an option.

Notable Players 10-35% Rostered

Mac Jones (QB – NE): 28%

I’m willing to consider Jones in the streaming category in ideal matchups. While the Patriots remain a run-oriented team, Jones has made throws when called upon. He probably doesn’t offer the highest ceiling but can get you by if you’re in a jam.

Rondale Moore (WR – ARI): 26%

Moore’s usage and production have tapered off significantly. But if I have a roster spot or am in a deeper league, I’m willing to use a roster spot to stash him for another week or two. With Kyler Murray hopefully coming back this week, I’ll stash and see what happens with Moore.

Eno Benjamin (RB – ARI): 18%

Benjamin didn’t do much as James Conner‘s backup against Carolina, rushing six times for 22 yards. But should something happen to Conner, Benjamin would be next in line. Anyone with Conner should consider stashing Benjamin on their bench.

Notable Players < 10% Rostered

Ray-Ray McCloud (WR – PIT): 0%

I’m pretty intrigued with McCloud. The Pittsburgh passing game is predicated on throwing the ball short, which is where McCloud primarily operates. He garnered 12 targets in Week 10, catching nine of them for 63 yards. He may be worth a stash until Chase Claypool comes back.

Kendrick Bourne (WR – NE): 7%

I’m not advocating any Patriots pass catchers, but Bourne might be worth consideration in deeper leagues. He caught four passes for 98 yards and a touchdown in Week 10. He’s gotten more opportunities over the last four weeks, too, garnering 19 targets.

Jamal Agnew (WR – JAX): 9%

Agnew is a strange player and one whose fantasy output doesn’t appear to be sustainable. In Week 10, he didn’t catch a pass but rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown. If you need a boom or bust option, Agnew is serviceable.

D’Onta Foreman (RB -TEN): 4%

Foreman got 11 carries for 30 yards Sunday against the Saints. Once again, he’s merely worth stashing should anything happen to Adrian Peterson.

Matt Breida (RB – BUF): 0%

I’ve generally given up on playing Buffalo running backs. But Breida scored twice on just six touches in his first game back since Week 2. I’d only add if you’re desperate, but the Bills seem interested in getting him involved.

DeAndre Carter (WR – WSH): 1%

As Washington looks to find a secondary receiving weapon behind Terry McLaurin, maybe Carter is the answer. He caught three balls for 56 yards and a touchdown against Tampa.

Byron Pringle (WR – K.C.): 1%

Everyone seemed to score for Kansas City last week, including Pringle, who caught four of five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs may be more willing to spread the ball around to free up Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Pringle could be a beneficiary.

Marcus Johnson (WR – TEN): 1%

Pretty much an unknown before Sunday, Johnson came out of nowhere and caught five passes for 100 yards. With Julio Jones on injured reserve, perhaps this is Johnson’s opportunity to shine.
