Kawhi Leonard will decline is player option for the 2019-2020 NBA season and become a free agent. This is no surprise as the option was set to pay Leonard $21.3 million, well below his value. The Raptors still however remain the favorites to sign Leonard because of the trust that the Raptors have built with him. The Raptors are the only team who can offer Leonard a max contract of five years and $190 million.
