Fantasy Football Player Notes

Week 6 Rankings

Bijan Robinson Note
Bijan Robinson photo 1. Bijan Robinson RB - ATL (vs . CHI)
There are some players that are just better than the others. At the moment, Bijan is one of them and is arguably the best back in the game. His dynamic ability paired with the rejuvenated Micahel Penix led offense is perfect for fantasy. This week, they face the Bears coming off an embarrassing loss to the Packers. With both Michael Penix and Caleb Williams set to start this week, this game should have plenty of fireworks. If Marshawn Lloyd and the Packers' abysmal run game could score two rushing touchdowns, Bijan should be licking his chops. They also allowed both Christian Watson and Matthew Golden to top 120 yards. Sit back and watch this week's RB1 play a key role in a high-scoring affair.

Kenneth Walker III Note
Kenneth Walker III photo 2. Kenneth Walker III RB - KC (vs . LAC)
Coming back from bye, the Chiefs face their divisional rivals and 0-5, LA Chargers. If there was a game that could potentially turn the Chargers season around, it would be this one. That said, there is no reason to believe the Chargers won't continue to struggle and a rested Chiefs team will take advantage of it. The Chargers have been decent against the run, shutting down Ashton Jeanty in recent weeks. However, they are allowing the 10th most rushing yards to opponents and the 13th most fantasy points to opposing RBs. It's not the best matchup, but it's definitely not the worst. Especially if the Chiefs have an early lead, they should rely on the ground game heavily. I have Walker as my RB2 on the week, only behind Bijan Robinson.

Jonathan Taylor Note
Jonathan Taylor photo 3. Jonathan Taylor RB - IND (vs . TEN)
You have to hand it to the Steelers; shutting down Taylor for 45 yards on 15 carries is no small feat. Especially when he had a long run for 20 yards, he was held to 25 yards on 14 carries outside of that. Thankfully, he caught three of his four targets for an additional 37 yards, providing an okay fantasy day. That said, the Colts and Daniel Jones do not look good. Considering the Steelers were allowing the 11th most fantasy points to the RB position, the Steelers focused all their efforts on Taylor this week. As a result, unless this offense gets better, we may see more of these kinds of games in the future with the defenses selling out to stop JT. At the same time, he can always find the endzone and make big plays. Especially against the 0-5 Titans, Taylor should dominate on the ground. He is my RB3 behind Bijan Robinson and Kenneth Walker this week.

Derrick Henry Note
Derrick Henry photo 4. Derrick Henry RB - BAL (at CLE)
Henry and Huntley carried the Ravens to a gutsy win over the Falcons last week. Going into last week, the Falcons were averaging the fewest rushing yards allowed. However, we saw Henry do typical Henry-like things, carrying the rock 24 times for 102 yards and caught his lone pass for an 18-yard touchdown. This week, the Ravens take on their first divisional opponent in the Browns. The Browns crashed back to earth last week with a sloppy loss to the Jets at MetLife Stadium. Cleveland ranks around league average in rushing yards allowed and allows the 8th-fewest fantasy points to RBs. It's not a great matchup, but Henry remains a firm RB1 for fantasy.
Christian McCaffrey Note
Christian McCaffrey photo 5. Christian McCaffrey RB - SF (vs . WAS)
The 49ers are absolutely rolling. With Brock Purdy playing at an MVP level, CMC, Mike Evans, and George Kittle all look no older than 30. Last week, CMC had a decent fantasy day against a formidable Seahawks defense. With only 83 total yards, his first-half touchdown saved fantasy managers. This week, they face a decent Commanders' defensive line on Monday Night Football. The Commanders don't have the horses to slow down the 49ers, and CMC should be heavily involved in the receiving game once again.

Kyren Williams Note
Kyren Williams photo 6. Kyren Williams RB - LAR (vs . ARI)
Watching the Barn Burner that was the Bills-Rams, it felt like Blake Corum was taking a lot of the work. Looking back, he only saw five carries for 19 yards and a score, to go along with catching three passes for 53 yards. In comparison, we saw Kyren receive 16 carries for 49 yards and a score, as well as catching six passes on eight targets for 27 yards. It may not have been the most efficient outing, however, Kyren is the clear lead back on one of the league's best offenses. To make the situation even better, he has 22 receptions on 28 targets over the last three weeks. That sort of volume along with the rushing work, firmly puts him as an RB1 each week. This week, they face the Cardinals, who allowed 45 points to the Lions last week. This could be another great performance for the veteran RB.
Puka Nacua Note
Puka Nacua photo 7. Puka Nacua WR - LAR (vs . ARI)
24 targets. That is absurd. Regardless of his "pre-hernia" diagnosis, it seems that neither he or the Rams are concerned. Puka's involvement last week seemed like an extension of the run game. With few passes travelling over five yards in the air, the sheer volume and after-the-catch ability propelled him to a record-setting week. Even with Davante Adams doing his thing and stealing two goal line scores, Puka still found his way into the endzone. When you have Matthew Stafford slinging it with a condensed receiving core, there is opportunity for everyone to get home. To make matters even better, they face the Cardinals this week. After allowing 45 points to the Lions last week, we could see the Rams continue to set offensive records in a lopsided affair.

James Cook III Note
James Cook III photo 8. James Cook III RB - BUF (at LV)
Week 5 was full of twists and turns with wild finishes. Both Cam Skattebo and James Cook managed to not lose their respective games despite egregious fumbles in overtime. For Cook, this was his second fumble of the night. Joe Brady has since come out threatening "consequences" if his ball security issues continue. With four fumbles in five games, fantasy managers need to hope he can figure this out sooner rather than later. Over the last four weeks, Cook has scored five touchdowns and rushed for over 100 yards in all but one game. With Josh Allen commanding the offense, Cook shows no signs of slowing down if he can hold onto the ball. This week, they face the Raiders, who are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards to opposing teams. Fire up Cook as a top-five option once again this week.

Javonte Williams Note
Javonte Williams photo 9. Javonte Williams RB - DAL (at GB)
The Cowboys are coming off a shocking loss to the Buccaneers last Thursday Night. Thankfully, when you are the only back on a decent offense, you can save your fantasy week with a goal-line touch. Williams' one-yard touchdown saved fantasy managers from a mediocre 62-yard performance. This Sunday Night, the Cowboys take on the Packers, who are coming off a high-flying win against the Bears. Last week, the only functional part of the Bears offense was their run game. This bodes well for Williams as they are also allowing the seventh-most rushing yards to opponents. With his guaranteed volume and touchdown potential, Williams remains in the RB1 mix each week.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Note
Jaxon Smith-Njigba photo 10. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR - SEA (at DEN)
Seattle may want to consider naming their franchise the Jaxon-Smith Njigba's since he is carrying this entire offense. Through five weeks, he has only finished below the WR7 once. He's topped 100 yards in four games and over 75 every week, making him everything you want in a fantasy WR1. This week, the Seahawks face the Broncos in what could become a defensive duel. You're playing JSN every week, however, fantasy managers may want to monitor Patrick Surtain's status. After missing last week with an Achilles injury, he is questionable for Week 6. If he plays, he may limit JSN's ceiling. However, if the Seahawks move the ball on offence, we know where it's going regardless of who is in coverage.
D'Andre Swift Note
D'Andre Swift photo 11. D'Andre Swift RB - CHI (at ATL)
D'Andre Swift has been on the verge of having a huge fantasy season. If it wasn't for some egregious fumbles and inability to convert at the goal line, he would be flirting with top-5 production. Thankfully, we saw him finally convert a goal-line opportunity against the Packers last week. With Kyle Monangai dealing with a toe injury, and Caleb Williams set to return, we may see Swift actualize his potential. This week, they face the Falcons who were allowing the fewest rushing yards per game before they ran into (or should I say, got run into) Derrick Henry. Now they are the fourth-fewest in rushing yards. We saw Swift be more involved as a receiver, catching four of five targets for 30 yards last week. There are a few questions that need to be answered before cementing Swift as a RB1 this week. If Monangai misses another week and both Michael Penix and Caleb Williams play, there is substantial shootout potential, making Swift an excellent play.

Jaylen Warren Note
Jaylen Warren photo 12. Jaylen Warren RB - PIT (at TB)
Jaylen Warren is on fire right now. With Rico Dowdle missing the last few games, he has averaged 107 rushing yards and 56 receiving yards across the three games. He has also broken off explosive games in each, adding to his ceiling. This week, Dowdle is supposed to return, adding an uncertain variable to the equation. Will the Steelers continue to ride the hot hand? Or will they revert to the split? In addition, they face the Buccaneers who are allowing the 6th fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs and the second-fewest rushing yards. With the return of Dowdle and a tough matchup, I have Warren as a mid-tier RB2 despite his recent heroics.
Rhamondre Stevenson Note
Rhamondre Stevenson photo 13. Rhamondre Stevenson RB - NE (vs . NYJ)
With TreVeyon Henderson sidelined, Rhamondre Stevenson will be the Pats workhorse back. Last week, in the final two quarters of the game without Henderson, Stevenson had a 67.6% snap rate, four of the nine running back rushing attempts, and a 55% route share (10.5% target share). Considering the Pats blew out the Raiders last week, it likely impacted Stevenson's usage on early downs. Stevenson has been an efficient player on a per-touch basis which is consistent with his career marks. Among 42 qualifying rushers this season, Stevenson is 18th in yards after contact per attempt and 15th in missed tackle rate. Stevenson should rip the Jets run defense apart this week. New York has allowed the 13th-highest explosive run rate, the ninth-most yards before contact per attempt, and the sixth-highest missed tackle rate.

CeeDee Lamb Note
CeeDee Lamb photo 14. CeeDee Lamb WR - DAL (at GB)
Lamb has been dominant this season. Well, until the Cowboys ran into a buzzsaw of a Bucs team led by Jalon Daniels. All jokes aside, there was no reason the Cowboys should have struggled in this matchup, let alone lost the contest. It's likely not a coincidence that the game Lamb is held to two receptions for 19 yards is their worst game of the season. Coming off a 17-reception performance, no one saw this coming. Thankfully, they face a beatable Packers secondary this week on Sunday Night Football. A game with two porous defenses that features Lamb, George Pickens, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden is bound to have an abundance of explosives. Expect a nice bounce back for the star receiver this week.
Christian Watson Note
Christian Watson photo 15. Christian Watson WR - GB (vs . DAL)
Welcome to WR1 territory, Mr. Watson. It's been a journey, but the second-round selection in the 2022 draft has finally reached his potential. After his career was derailed due to injuries, the hyper-athletic WR started to gain ground last season. Since then, he has kept getting better and isn't looking back. Sitting as the WR2 on the season so far, Watson has two games over 140 receiving yards, and six touchdowns in five games. The Packers are leaning into their two speedy receivers and are a big play factory. If given time to throw, Jordan Love has been launching bombs this year. This provides a decent floor for a hyper-efficient receiver like Watson. This week, they face the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys are allowing the fourth most explosive plays per game this season. Buckle up; there should be plenty of fireworks in this matchup on Sunday Night.

Chuba Hubbard Note
Chuba Hubbard photo 16. Chuba Hubbard RB - CAR (at PHI)
The Panthers return from their bye week and have an intriguing matchup against the Eagles. The Eagles are coming off back-to-back blown-lead losses and are desperate to turn things around. Meanwhile, the Panthers have been feisty, and Chuba Hubbard has been a key part of this offense. Having yet to finish a week lower than the fantasy RB13, Hubbard has been one of the best draft picks so far. The Eagles were supposed to have an elite defense, yet find themselves hovering around league average in most metrics. As a result, the back out of Sherwood Park, Alberta, remains a low-end RB1 this week.
Drake London Note
Drake London photo 17. Drake London WR - ATL (vs . CHI)
As long as we have Michael Penix under center, London is a WR1 for fantasy. I don't think there could have been a better illustration of the Falcons QB room than Tua Tagovailoa throwing an overtime interception to lose the game. Since Penix has returned, London has been frequently targeted down the field, totalling at least 96 yards in each of his last three games. Unfortunately, he has yet to find the endzone this season. It's only a matter of time before this changes and a matchup with the Bears is just what the doctor ordered. Last week, both Matthew Golden and Christian Watson had over 100 yards against the Bears. With Caleb Williams likely to return, this game should be high-scoring. I'm calling for London to break his scoreless streak and top 100 yards in Week 6.
Ashton Jeanty Note
Ashton Jeanty photo 18. Ashton Jeanty RB - LV (vs . BUF)
It has been a weird season for Jeanty. After starting the year dealing with an ankle injury, it seems that he has never fully recovered. At the same time, he has been heavily involved in the receiving game and eating up yards each week. Heading into Week 6, he has the sixth most scrimmage yards at the position behind Derrick Henry and ahead of Jonathan Taylor. Unfortunately, the touchdowns have been hard to come by. What's been stopping him from being the RB1 we had hoped is that he has yet to score a rushing touchdown this season, and has not scored since Week 1. This week, they have a juicy matchup against the Bills. With his workload and lack of weapons on the Raiders, a Bills defense allowing the 10th most fantasy points to the position could be the perfect solution. I expect Jeanty to end his touchdown drought this week, making him a top-five play for me.
Braelon Allen Note
Braelon Allen photo 19. Braelon Allen RB - NYJ (at NE)
Braelon Allen likely draws another start this week for the injured Breece Hall. Over the last two weeks, Allen has finished as the RB33 and RB8 in weekly scoring, averaging 20.5 touches and 91.5 total yards while playing 88.2% of the snaps. Allen has been New York's bell cow. Among 42 qualifying backs, Allen is 11th in yards after contact per attempt and 14th in missed tackle rate. Allen should have another nice stat line this week against a Patriots run defense that has allowed the 11th-highest rushing success rate, the sixth-most yards after contact per attempt, and has the 12th-lowest rate of hitting backs at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Mike Evans Note
Mike Evans photo 20. Mike Evans WR - SF (vs . WAS)
I would say it was a vintage Mike Evans performance, but frankly he hasn't changed since entering the league. The big-bodied, future Hall of Fame receiver had a great day against a stingy Seahawks defense. Evans caught seven of ten targets for 113 yards, a score, and a 2-point conversion in their win against Seattle. In the game, Jacob Cowing and Deebo Samuel were also injured, constricting their passing attack to Evans, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey. This offense is firing on all cylinders and now faces Dan Quinn, who is on the verge of a different kind of firing. Last week's blunder wouldn't have been acceptable during recess, let alone the NFL. Either way, the Commanders are allowing the third most points per game and the fourth most passing yards. Evans is locked in as a WR1 in Week 6 and primed for another big day.
Nico Collins Note
Nico Collins photo 21. Nico Collins WR - HOU (at JAC)
All of a sudden, a Texans team that was desperate at receiver now has Collins and the 2024 fourth overall pick out wide. With an abysmal run game and Jayden Higgins already out for the season, the Texans were desperate for another playmaker. Now that they have Harrison, we may finally see them commit to the passing attack and potentially force defenses to not hyperfixate on Collins. It's unlikely Harrison will play a lot this week, but in the long term this could be a good thing for Collins' efficiency. Ideally, the potential decrease in targets and increase in efficiency should keep Collins healthy. Having only played three games this season, this has been his biggest barrier. In Week 6, the team travels to London to face the Jaguars, who have spent the entire week there. The Jags are allowing the third most passing yards per game, setting Collins up for a bounce-back game after only having 56 yards last week.

Chris Olave Note
Chris Olave photo 22. Chris Olave WR - NO (at NYG)
The Saints have quickly turned into a dysfunctional mess. After upsetting the Ravens in Week 2, their defense has fallen apart. Not only has their defense turned into Swiss Cheese, but Brian Flores put on a clinic against Tyler Shough and company last week. You would think that Olave's 46 yards was a bad outing, but when Shough only passed for 96, you can't be mad about 48% of all passing yards. Thankfully, they have a much easier matchup against the Giants this week. The Giants are frisky on defense, allowing the ninth-fewest points per game. With the Saints' defense in shambles, Tyler Shough will be forced to target Olave early and often. Touchdowns may be at a premium this week, but double-digit targets and triple-digit yards should be on the table for the veteran receiver.
Bucky Irving Note
Bucky Irving photo 23. Bucky Irving RB - TB (vs . PIT)
After his monster game last week, Bucky Irving is the RB14 in fantasy points per game, averaging 18.4 touches and 95.4 total yards. Among 42 qualifying rushers, Irving is 26th in yards after contact per attempt and 18th in missed tackle rate. Irving will have a tougher matchup this week, but he can still return RB2 value. Pittsburgh has the 14th-lowest explosive run rate, the ninth-lowest rushing success rate, and the sixth-highest stuff rate.
Malik Nabers Note
Malik Nabers photo 24. Malik Nabers WR - NYG (vs . NO)
There is nothing pretty about the Giants this season. Thankfully, their passing game is condensed to only Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. As a result, it doesn't matter how uncertain the team looks; these two will manage to get home each week. As for last week, Nabers saw 20 targets, catching 11 of them for 121 yards and a score. He also dropped two clear touchdowns, preventing a monster fantasy day. He now has back-to-back weeks of 100 yards and a score, heading into a date with the Saints. Despite starting the season feisty, the Saints defense has been exploited in back-to-back weeks. Allowing the second-most points per game, the Saints are a perfect matchup for Nabers to continue his touchdown streak.

Emanuel Wilson Note
Emanuel Wilson photo 25. Emanuel Wilson RB - SEA (at DEN)
Over the last two games, Emanuel Wilson has been Seattle's clear workhorse back. He has averaged 23 touches and 96 total yards with RB6 and RB20 weekly finishes. In those two games, he has averaged 60.2% of the snaps with 69.5% of the rushing attempts, a 36.1% route share, and an 11.8% target share. Among 42 qualifying backs, Wilson is 24th in yards after contact per attempt and 33rd in missed tackle rate. Wilson should have another productive day in Week 6. Denver has allowed the sixth-highest explosive run rate, the most yards after contact per attempt, and the highest missed tackle rate.
Bhayshul Tuten Note
Bhayshul Tuten photo 26. Bhayshul Tuten RB - JAC (vs . HOU)
Bhayshul Tuten continues to earn more of the Jags' backfield weekly while rocking along as the RB19 in fantasy points per game. I discussed Tuten's horrible touchdown luck last week in the Primer. This week, he saw a ton of volume, but was unable to get into the endzone or break a big run, despite being close many times. Last week, Tuten saw season-highs in snap rate (66.2%), designed carry share (91.7%), and route share (43.2%). Tuten has seen his numbers in all three categories climb weekly. Among 42 qualifying backs, Tuten is balling, ranking ninth in explosive run rate, eighth in yards after contact per attempt, and sixth in missed tackle rate. Tuten will have tough sledding this week. He'll need a touchdown to pay off likely. Houston's run defense has remained top shelf all season, allowing the fourth-lowest explosive run rate, the fourth-fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the 11th-fewest yards after contact per attempt.
Brock Bowers Note
Brock Bowers photo 27. Brock Bowers TE - LV (vs . BUF)
Despite missing the first two games, Bowers is the TE5 on the season. Across three games, he has accumulated 35 targets, 24 receptions, 312 yards, and three touchdowns. That's an average of eight receptions, 104 yards, and a TD per game. Wild. The Raiders have some tough defenses coming up, however, starting in Week 7. This week they face the Bills, whose defense has slowly become one of the worst in the NFL. They average the second-most passing yards per game and the fifth-most points allowed to opposing offenses. If the Raiders are going to move the ball and try to keep up with Josh Allen, it's going to be through Bowers and Jeanty.

Davante Adams Note
Davante Adams photo 28. Davante Adams WR - LAR (vs . ARI)
Zay Flowers Note
Zay Flowers photo 29. Zay Flowers WR - BAL (at CLE)
This offense revolves around Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers. Even with Tyler Huntley under centre, these two willed the team to an overtime victory. Flowers managed to catch eight passes for the second week in a row; however, he only totalled 53 receiving yards. Hopefully we have Lamar Jackson back, providing Flowers with the WR1 potential we know he has. This week, the Ravens face the Browns, who are just above league average in most defensive metrics. It's not the best matchup, but if Lamar is under center, Flowers is a WR1. If we see another week of Tyler Huntley, his target volume should keep him at the bottom of WR2 territory.
MarShawn Lloyd Note
MarShawn Lloyd photo 30. MarShawn Lloyd RB - GB (vs . DAL)
Last week. MarShawn Lloyd played 44.1% of the snaps (led the team) among the backs with 38.5% of the rushing share and a 26.5% route share. The blowout nature of that game probably tilts some of the usage stats more in the direction of Pierre Strong. Lloyd also led the team with two red zone rushing attempts (Strong, one). As a rusher, Lloyd has only 1.32 yards after contact per attempt (WOOF), but he has managed a 17% missed tackle rate. Last week, with his two scores, Lloyd was the RB14 for the week while finishing with 11 touches and 37 total yards. Lloyd could have another strong RB2/flex week against Dallas. The Cowboys have allowed the seventh-highest explosive run rate, the 10th-highest rushing success rate, and the third-most yards before contact per attempt.
Cam Skattebo Note
Cam Skattebo photo 31. Cam Skattebo RB - NYG (vs . NO)
Cam Skattebo is the RB23 in fantasy points per game, averaging 18.2 touches and 74.6 total yards. He has 11 of the team's 20 running back red zone rushing attempts. Najee Harris has cut into his workload in that region of the field with seven attempts. Among 42 qualifying backs, Skattebo is 17th in yards after contact per attempt and 22nd in missed tackle rate. Skattebo should find more running room this week against a Saints' run defense that has allowed the eighth-highest explosive run rate, the second-highest rushing success rate, and the fifth-highest missed tackle rate. Skattebo remains a volume-based RB2.
Trey McBride Note
Trey McBride photo 32. Trey McBride TE - ARI (at LAR)
McBride has 10 or more targets in every game this season. That's incredible. He has one fewer than Amon-Ra St. Brown this season, making him the second most targeted player in the league. You really can't ask for better usage than that. These targets have also come with an absurd amount of catches; his 42 receptions are leading the league across positions. This week, he has the tough task against the Rams, who are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Bills. After getting picked apart by Josh Allen, their defense will be out for blood against their divisional rivals. Thankfully, if the game gets out of hand, we know that Jacoby Brissett will continue to sling it around the yard. McBride is one of the elite fantasy TEs this season, and due to the tough matchup, he is my TE3 this week behind Brock Bowers and George Kittle.
George Pickens Note
George Pickens photo 33. George Pickens WR - DAL (at GB)
Last week was the monster performance that everyone had been waiting for with George Pickens. CeeDee Lamb getting banged up and a ton of single-high coverage helped facilitate that, though. Pickens has only one other game this season with more than 11 PPR points. Overall, he has a 20.8% target share with 2.06 YPRR, four red zone targets, seven deep targets, and a 24.4% first-read share. The big issue for Pickens this week is that he'll see another secondary that loves to utilize two-high coverage. Green Bay has the fifth-highest rate of two high in the NFL (62.6%). Against two high, Pickens' target per route run rate drops to 15% and his YPRR dips to 1.59. Those aren't great numbers at all. The Packers haven't been a shutdown unit against perimeter wide receivers, so it's possible that Pickens gets a touchdown this week and saves a middling stat line. Green Bay is 16th in yards per target allowed to perimeter wide receivers while also giving up the 11th-most fantasy points per opportunity.

George Kittle Note
George Kittle photo 34. George Kittle TE - SF (vs . WAS)
George Kittle is having a great season. With six or more targets in each of his last three games, his involvement is back to normal after tearing his Achilles last season. Most impressively, he has played over 90% of snaps in each of the last two weeks. A full-time player on an offense that is firing on all cylinders is everything you want for your fantasy TE. Add in his explosive playmaking ability, and he is once again one of the best TEs in fantasy. Last week, they ran into arguably the best defense in the league, which held him to 24 yards on five catches. I wouldn't worry about that as they face the Commanders this week, who are allowing the second most fantasy points to the TE position. Kittle is firmly my TE2 this week behind Brock Bowers.

Parker Washington Note
Parker Washington photo 35. Parker Washington WR - JAC (vs . HOU)
Parker Washington is playing with fantasy managers and NFL defenders this season. The last time we had Washington ranked as a WR1 was in a great matchup against the Bengals. He finished that game with one catch for seven yards. Then, in a tougher matchup against the Eagles, he exploded for 124 yards and two scores. Washington's ability to come down with contested catches single handedly kept the Jaguars in this game, ultimately leading to a miraculous win. This week, they stay in London to face the Texans. The Texans defense has not been as advertised this season; however, they are still allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to the receiver position. That said, we've seen plenty to keep Washington in the low-end WR1 conversation regardless of matchup.

Woody Marks Note
Woody Marks photo 36. Woody Marks RB - HOU (at JAC)
With David Montgomery sidelined with a groin issue, Wood Marks should be Houston's workhorse back. Last week in the final three quarters of the game, Marks played 95.7% of the snaps, with all 13 of the running back rushing attempts after Montgomery left the game. Marks had a 66.7% route share and 11.5% target share in the final three quarters. Marks has been very efficient with his workload this season. Among 42 qualifying rushers, Marks ranks 12th in explosive run rate and seventh in missed tackle rate. Marks will have to rely upon his volume and touchdown equity in the Houston offense this week because he won't find much running room against one of the best run defenses in the NFL. Jacksonville has allowed the second-lowest explosive run rate, the fifth-lowest rushing success rate, and the lowest yards after contact per attempt and missed tackle rate.

Matthew Golden Note
Matthew Golden photo 37. Matthew Golden WR - GB (vs . DAL)
Matthew Golden has been absolutely fantastic this season as the WR16 in fantasy points per game. Golden has a 22.7% target share with 2.48 YPRR, eight red zone targets, ten deep targets, and a 26.1% first-read share. He has been crushing. Golden should feast again this week. Over the last two weeks, Dallas has utilized single high at the second-highest rate (68.2%). Against single high, Golden leads the team with a 26% target-per-route run rate with 1.78 YPRR. Dallas has allowed the sixth-most yards per target and the sixth-most fantasy points per opportunity to wide receivers.

Tetairoa McMillan Note
Tetairoa McMillan photo 38. Tetairoa McMillan WR - CAR (at PHI)
Tetairoa McMillan is the WR10 in fantasy points per game with a 22.7% target share, 2.41 YPRR, a 31.6% first-read share, five red zone targets, and six deep targets. McMillan has been fantastic. Bryce Young will continue to lean on him this week, so the target volume should be there. The matchup is quite tough, so don't expect a ceiling performance from McMillan, though. Philly has allowed the tenth-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Tony Pollard Note
Tony Pollard photo 39. Tony Pollard RB - TEN (at IND)
Since Week 2, Tony Pollard has been the RB29 in fantasy points per game, averaging 17.1 touches and 65.8 total yards. Since Week 2, Pollard has had a 53.1% snap rate, a 64.9% rushing share, and a 29.2% route share (6.5% target share). Among 42 qualifying rushers, Pollard is 24th in explosive run rate and 16th in yards after contact per attempt. Pollard is a decent flex who could be an RB2 this week if he gets into the endzone. Indy has allowed the fifth-highest rushing success rate, the second-most yards before contact per attempt, and the ninth-highest missed tackle rate.

Garrett Wilson Note
Garrett Wilson photo 40. Garrett Wilson WR - NYJ (at NE)
Before this season, the last time Wilson had a 100-yard game was Week 14, 2024. Only five weeks into 2026, he has two 100-yard games to go along with three scores. Geno Smith's second outing with the Jets has been the best thing to happen to them in years. Functionally moving this offense, Smith has rejuvenated the fantasy production of this team. With both Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr. out of the lineup, Wilson's target volume is locked and loaded. With Christian Gonzalez unlikely to return from his shoulder injury suffered in Week 3, it is all systems go for Wilson. We have not seen top-five receiver upside from him this year, but he is locked in as a low-end WR1 each week. If Gonzalez does return, I would move Wilson into high-end WR2 territory for this week.

Isaiah Likely Note
Isaiah Likely photo 41. Isaiah Likely TE - NYG (vs . NO)
After years of wondering what Isaiah Likely could be if he were a full-time player with the Ravens, we are finally seeing it come to fruition. Whether it was Jasxon Dart or Jameis Winston under center, Likely has been a focal point of this passing attack. Unfortunately, the Giants are an inconsistent offense, leading to inconsistent production. However, with 10 or more targets in three of five games, and two TE1 finishes, it's hard to ask more from your fantasy TE. This week, they face the Saints, whose defense has taken a nosedive since the start of the season. This game has sneaky shootout potential, setting up Likely for another strong game. Likely is firmly my TE4 this week behind Brock Bowers, George Kittle, and Trey McBride, respectively.

Luther Burden III Note
Luther Burden III photo 42. Luther Burden III WR - CHI (at ATL)
The Bears' passing attack has been a damn nightmare to project weekly, but here it goes. Luther Burden is the WR29 in fantasy points per game with one week inside the top 15 (WR13). Burden has a 20.3% target share with 1.91 YPRR, eight red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 25.2% first-read share. This week, he faces an Atlanta secondary that has the fourth-highest single high rate (64%). Against single high, Burden has led the way with a 30% target per route run rate and 2.40 YPRR. Burden should lead the passing attack this week. Atlanta has held slot receivers to the fourth-fewest yards per target and the second-fewest fantasy points per opportunity, but Burden can overcome a tough matchup if Ben Johnson runs the passing attack through him this week.

Tucker Kraft Note
Tucker Kraft photo 43. Tucker Kraft TE - GB (vs . DAL)
Tucker Kraft is warming up. Over the last two weeks, he has been the TE8 in fantasy points per game. In those games, Kraft has had a 68.8% route share with a 19.7% target share, 2.41 YPRR, four red zone targets, one deep target, and a 25.5% first-read share. Kraft is due for a big week. This could be it. Dallas has allowed the sixth-most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

DK Metcalf Note
DK Metcalf photo 44. DK Metcalf WR - PIT (at TB)
DK Metcalf is the WR40 in fantasy points per game, with only one game this season with more than 15 PPR points. Metcalf has a 19.9% target share with 1.18 YPRR, one red zone target, ten deep targets, and a 28.2% first-read share. This could be a decent bounce-back spot for Metcalf. Tampa Bay's love of single high should help him. Tampa Bay has the second-highest single-high rate in the NFL (65.2%). Since 2025, against single-high, Metcalf's target-per-route run rate has increased from 18% to 25%, and his YPRR has jumped from 1.48 to 1.98. Tampa Bay is 15th in yards per target allowed to perimeter wide receivers, while they have given up the 13th-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position.

Michael Wilson Note
Michael Wilson photo 45. Michael Wilson WR - ARI (at LAR)
Michael Wilson had a surprising down week in Week 5, but he is still a top-24 fantasy wide receiver (WR24 in fantasy points per game). Wilson has a 24% target share with 1.47 YPRR, eight red zone targets, a 29.9% first-read share, and seven deep targets. Wilson should see a boatload of volume again this week, but I'm not expecting a ton of efficiency. The Rams have held perimeter wide receivers to the sixth-fewest yards per target and the third-fewest fantasy points per game. It's also possible that Trent McDuffie follows Wilson this week. McDuffie followed Malik Nabers and Dontayvion Wicks on 51.6-75% of their routes, holding them to a combined four targets and seven receiving yards in his coverage.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt Note
Jacory Croskey-Merritt photo 46. Jacory Croskey-Merritt RB - WAS (at SF)
Last week, Bill saw his role diminish with only a 35% snap rate, 36.7% of the rushing attempts, and a 16.2% route share. The route share wasn't a shock, but seeing Rachaad White eat into the early downs is concerning. Jacory Croskey-Merritt finished with 11 rushing attempts, 82 yards on the ground, and a score. Bill hasn't had much room to run this season behind Washington's horrible offensive line. Among 42 qualifying rushers, Bill ranks 37th in explosive run rate, 21st in yards after contact per attempt, 41st in missed tackle rate, and has been hit at or behind the line of scrimmage at the third-highest rate (50.7%). His offensive line has generated only 1.48 yards before contact per attempt, which is being inflated by the Giants' horrible run defense. Last week, Bill had 4.09 yards before contact per attempt. In three of his five games this season, he hasn't had more than 1.11 yards before contact per attempt. Bill is a touchdown-dependent flex this week that likely busts. The 49ers have allowed the lowest explosive run rate, the fifth-fewest yards after contact per attempt, and the eighth-lowest missed tackle rate. Bill could miss Week 6. He has logged back-to-back DNPs (groin) to open this week. I'll update his status on Saturday.

Tyler Warren Note
Tyler Warren photo 47. Tyler Warren TE - IND (vs . TEN)
How Tyler Warren has been a consistent fantasy play is a little baffling. Every week he fails to top 25 yards, he finds the end zone. Then, in the games without a touchdown, he has over 40 yards and catches at least five passes. In the end, it doesn't matter how it happens, but he is producing fantasy. Last week, both the touchdowns and yards came together for the first time this season. Finishing with 84 total yards and a rushing TD, he is the focal point of this passing attack. The Colts appear to be on the verge of being a dysfunctional offense, however, Daniel Jones is doing just enough to keep Warren, Josh Downs, and Jonathan Taylor coming through on their preseason draft positions. This week, they take on the Titans, who are by far the worst team in the league. They are a below-average matchup for fantasy TEs, but Warren remains a TE1 option regardless of matchup.

J.K. Dobbins Note
J.K. Dobbins photo 48. J.K. Dobbins RB - DEN (vs . SEA)
The Broncos have been forcing the issue with J.K. Dobbins. Denver has been leaning on him since Week 3, as he has averaged 17 touches and 59.6 total yards, but that doesn't mean it has been a good idea. Since Week 3, Dobbins has had a 45.3% snap rate, 60.5% of the rushing attempts, and a 14.8% route share. Among 42 qualifying backs, Dobbins has been limping along in the efficiency departments, sitting at 31st in explosive run rate and 39th in missed tackle rate. Dobbins remains a touchdown-dependent flex. He's a bust if he doesn't get into the endzone again this week. I don't see him maximizing his touches in this horrible matchup. Seattle has limited rushers to the seventh-lowest explosive run rate, the tenth-fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the sixth-lowest missed tackle rate.

Jalen Coker Note
Jalen Coker photo 49. Jalen Coker WR - CAR (at PHI)
Jalen Coker will be back this week. He practiced in full all week and doesn't have an injury designation for Week 6. In Weeks 1-2, as a full-time player, Coker was the WR6 in fantasy points per game. In those games, Coker had a 24.3% target share, 3.00 YPRR, five red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 29.5% first-read share. Coker should compete with Tetairoa McMillan for the team lead in targets this week, but it's not a cakewalk matchup. Philly has allowed the tenth-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers. Coker could still finish the week as a WR2/3 based on volume alone.

Quinshon Judkins Note
Quinshon Judkins photo 50. Quinshon Judkins RB - CLE (vs . BAL)
Quinshon Judkins (ankle) didn't practice until Friday of this week, when he managed a limited practice. He has been listed as questionable. Right now, I'm expecting him to suit up, but continue to monitor the news all the way until kickoff. Judkins could see his workload split some as he's operating at less than full health. Judkins is the RB22 in fantasy points per game, averaging 18.2 touches and 64.6 total yards. Among 43 qualifying backs, Judkins is 40th in explosive run rate, 32nd in yards after contact per attempt, and 23rd in missed tackle rate. Judkins hasn't been an efficient player even when "healthy" this season. He'll have to get by with volume and touchdown equity this week because the matchup isn't good. Baltimore has allowed the fourth-lowest rushing success rate, the eighth-fewest yards after contact per attempt, and the tenth-lowest missed tackle rate.

Terry McLaurin Note
Terry McLaurin photo 51. Terry McLaurin WR - WAS (at SF)
Last week, Terry McLaurin was still dealing with a hammy issue, but he had a 70.3% route share, a 16% target share, 62 receiving yards (2.38 YPRR), and a 22.2% first-read share. As long as he didn't pick up any new injuries or aggravate his hammy last week, I expect his playing time to increase this week. Overall, McLaurin is the WR33 in fantasy points per game with a 20.8% target share, 1.61 YPRR, three red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 27.9% first-read share. McLaurin should see plenty of target volume this week, as I expect the Commanders to be trailing. The 49ers are 17th in receiving fantasy points per game allowed to perimeter wide receivers while also sitting at 16th in fantasy points per game given up to the position.

Dameon Pierce Note
Dameon Pierce photo 52. Dameon Pierce RB - PHI (vs . CAR)
I'm expecting Saquon Barkley to be out again this week. With Barkley sidelined, Dameon Pierce likely operates as Philly's workhorse back. Last week, in the final two quarters of the game without Will Shipley, Pierce played every snap for Philly with every running back rushing attempt and a 64% route share. He finished the game with 13 touches for only 12 yards. Against the Jags' elite run defense and behind his makeshift offensive line, Pierce saw -0.09 yards before contact per attempt while producing 1.36 yards after contact per attempt and a 6% missed tackle rate. He was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage on 72.7% of his rushing attempts. He should find more running room this week against Carolina's struggling run defense. Pierce isn't a sexy play for Week 6, but he could see enough volume in a plus matchup to produce RB2/flex value. Carolina has allowed the 11th-highest explosive run rate, the eighth-highest rushing success rate, and the second-most yards after contact per attempt.

Dalton Kincaid Note
Dalton Kincaid photo 53. Dalton Kincaid TE - BUF (at LV)
After starting the season with two monster games, Dalton Kincaid has gone silent. He hasn't had more than 3.8 PPR points over the last three games. Joe Brady talked about getting him more involved moving forward, but we'll see if that starts this week. This would be a great matchup to do so, though. Kincaid has a 15.2% target share (64.5% route share or higher in four of five games) with 2.74 YPRR, one red zone target, three deep targets, and a 16.9% first-read share. The Raiders are 16th in yards per target allowed to tight ends, but against the position they have also given up the fifth-most receiving fantasy points per game, the third-most receiving touchdowns, and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity. Kincaid could feast this week.

Rome Odunze Note
Rome Odunze photo 54. Rome Odunze WR - CHI (at ATL)
Rome Odunze is the WR57 in fantasy points per game, with one week inside the top-24 receivers in weekly scoring (WR21). Odunze has a 16.9% target share with 1.76 YPRR, four red zone targets, seven deep targets, and a 19.6% first-read share. This week, he faces an Atlanta secondary that has the fourth-highest single high rate (64%). Against single high, Odunze has seen his target per route run rate increase from 18% to 19%, but his YPRR slightly fall from 1.83 to 1.69. Odunze could have a strong game this week against a Falcons secondary that has allowed the 12th-most yards per target and the fourth-most receiving fantasy points per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Denzel Boston Note
Denzel Boston photo 55. Denzel Boston WR - CLE (vs . BAL)
Denzel Boston is the WR22 in fantasy points per game. Among 111 qualifying receivers, Boston ranks 36th in target share (18.2%), 31st in YPRR (2.10), and 46th in first-read share (21.2%). Boston has four red zone targets and a whopping nine deep targets. This week, Boston faces a Baltimore secondary that has utilized two high at the fourth-highest rate (63.9%). Against two high, Boston has led the team with a 22% target-per-route run rate with 4.04 YPRR. Boston is a solid flex/WR3 again this week. Baltimore has allowed the tenth-most yards per target to perimeter wide receivers while ranking 16th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to the position.

Carnell Tate Note
Carnell Tate photo 56. Carnell Tate WR - TEN (at IND)
After last week's disappointing game, Carnell Tate is the WR37 in fantasy points per game. Tate's struggles this season haven't really been related to Tate but more so to Cam Ward. Tate's catchable target rate (75.7%) is 65th among 94 qualifying receivers. Tate has a 23.9% target share with 1.94 YPRR, one red zone target, five deep targets, and a 32.3% first-read share. Tate has had a wonderful market share of the Titans' passing attack. Tate is a flex with a tough matchup this week. Indy has held perimeter wide receivers to the fourth-fewest yards per target and the third-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Blake Corum Note
Blake Corum photo 57. Blake Corum RB - LAR (vs . ARI)
Blake Corum is a nice flex play this week. The betting line is telling all of us that the Rams run away with this game, which could mean more work for Corum. Last week, Corum played 24.4% of the snaps with a 14.5% route share, 21.7% of the rushing attempts, and a 7.4% target share. He finished with eight touches and 72 total yards (one score). Among 42 qualifying rushers, he is sixth in explosive run rate and 17th in missed tackle rate. The Cards have allowed the tenth-highest explosive run rate, the fourth-most yards after contact per attempt, and the third-highest missed tackle rate. Corum could see 10-12 touches in this game. If he gets into the endzone, he could easily be an RB2 this week, as he was in Week 5 (RB15).

Jaylen Waddle Note
Jaylen Waddle photo 58. Jaylen Waddle WR - DEN (vs . SEA)
Jaylen Waddle is the WR40 in fantasy points per game, suffering through wretched quarterback play and a broken offense. Waddle has two top-36 finishes in weekly scoring (WR9, WR25). Bo Nix has capsized this entire offense. Sean Payton. Davis Webb. It doesn't matter who is calling the offensive plays in Denver until Nix can turn in even league-average quarterback play on a weekly basis. Waddle has a 17.9% target share with 1.57 YPRR, two red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 27.3% first-read share. Waddle is a middling flex again this week. Seattle has limited perimeter wide receivers to the 13th-fewest yards per target and the tenth-fewest receiving fantasy points per game.

Emeka Egbuka Note
Emeka Egbuka photo 59. Emeka Egbuka WR - TB (vs . PIT)
In Jalon Daniels' two starts, Emeka Egbuka has finished as the WR81 and WR15 in weekly scoring. The top-24 finish he can thank to a rushing score. Over the last two weeks, he has had a 25% target share with 0.89 YPRR, a 7.23 aDOT, three red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 32.4% first-read share. Egbuka is best viewed as a volume-driven WR3/flex. Pittsburgh hasn't been kind to perimeter wide receivers, giving up the eighth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity while ranking 15th in yards per target.

Xavier Worthy Note
Xavier Worthy photo 60. Xavier Worthy WR - KC (vs . LAC)
Xavier Worthy is having another forgettable season as the WR58 in fantasy points per game. Worthy has a 17.2% target share with 1.16 YPRR, four red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 22.5% first-read share. He offers some flex appeal this week against a secondary that has allowed the eighth-most yards per target and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Omarion Hampton Note
Omarion Hampton photo 61. Omarion Hampton RB - LAC (at KC)
I can't overstate how much I absolutely hate everything that Mike McDaniel is doing. Last week, Hampton led the team with 41.2% of the rushing share while playing the third-fewest snaps (31.7%) for the backfield. Hampton is being utilized as an early down option only, as he had only two routes last week. Hampton still has a solid 10.8% explosive run rate and 2.45 yards after contact per attempt, but that doesn't seem to matter to the Bolts' offensive coordinator. Sit Hampton in a bad rushing matchup. Kansas City has limited rushers to the eighth-lowest rushing success rate, the fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the third-lowest missed tackle rate.

Romeo Doubs Note
Romeo Doubs photo 62. Romeo Doubs WR - NE (vs . NYJ)
Well, last week was frustrating. With Mack Holins out and a perfect schematic matchup for Doubs, I expected him to crush. Then I got to see Drake Maye light up the Raiders' secondary and Doubs lose his invitation to the passing attack party. Last week, Doubs led the team with a 94.2% route share, but he had only an 8.8% target share and 12.5% first-read share. UGH! Overall, he is the WR37 in fantasy points per game with a 14% target share, 1.59 YPRR, five red zone targets, six deep targets, and a 15.5% first-read share. With Drake Maye getting back to his spread-the-wealth ways of last year, Doubs will continue to be volatile. This is another strong schematic matchup for Doubs, but as we saw last week, we'll have to collectively hold our breath if it turns into fantasy points. The Jets have the ninth-highest two-high rate (57.2%). Against two high, Doubs has only a 15% target per route run rate, but he also has seen his yards per route run jump from 0.52 (vs. single high) to 2.59. I will say the Raiders did flip their coverage usage on its head last week, as they ran with single high for 55.3% of their defensive snaps last week, so this easily could explain the lack of Doubs' involvement last week. The Jets are a tougher matchup for perimeter wide receivers, allowing the eighth-fewest yards per target and the 12th-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to the position. If the coverage structure holds, though, Doubs could be a solid flex play.

Devaughn Vele Note
Devaughn Vele photo 63. Devaughn Vele WR - NO (at NYG)
Devaughn Vele's volume-based flex appeal fell apart last week as the Saints couldn't get anything going against Minny's suffocating defense. Despite that, Vele remains the WR26 in fantasy points per game. Vele has a 17.1% target share with 1.27 YPRR, five red zone targets, six deep targets, and a 22.1% first-read share. Vele could again get by with volume this week, but the matchup isn't great. New York has held slot receivers to the 11th-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Tre Tucker Note

Travis Kelce Note
Travis Kelce photo 65. Travis Kelce TE - KC (vs . LAC)
Travis Kelce is the TE7 in fantasy points per game with a 16.4% target share, 2.34 YPRR, two red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 19.1% first-read share. On a per-route basis, he has been excellent. Among 48 qualifying tight ends, he ranks fourth-best in yards per route run and sixth-best in first downs per route run. Kelce should have a strong week against a pass defense that has allowed the ninth-most yards per target to tight ends.

Kendre Miller Note
Kendre Miller photo 66. Kendre Miller RB - NO (at NYG)
Last week, Kendre Miller took over as New Orleans' primary early down back with 58.8% of the team's rushing attempts while playing 30.2% of the snaps. Miller finished with ten rushing attempts and 30 rushing yards (one score). Miller hasn't had an explosive run this season while logging only 1.45 yards after contact per attempt and a 14% missed tackle rate. None of those metrics are good. Miller is a touchdown-dependent flex play. Miller at least has a good matchup this week. The Giants have allowed the fourth-highest explosive run rate, the fourth-highest rushing success rate, and the ninth-highest yards after contact per attempt.

Josh Downs Note
Josh Downs photo 67. Josh Downs WR - IND (vs . TEN)
Daniel Jones has crushed Josh Downs' production for much of this season. He has failed to cross 50 receiving yards in three of his five games. Downs is the WR47 in fantasy points per game with an 18.8% target share, 1.54 YPRR, four red zone targets, six deep targets, and a 24.2% first-read share. If Jones can get his act together, Downs could have a bounce-back game this week, though. Tennessee has allowed the second-most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

Alvin Kamara Note
Alvin Kamara photo 68. Alvin Kamara RB - NO (at NYG)
Alvin Kamara is banged up. Last week, he had only a 27.9% snap rate with 17.6% of the rushing attempts and a 7.7% route share. I'd love to tell you to flex Kamara this week, but with this minuscule playing time, I can't. Kamara is dealing with a back issue. He practiced on a limited basis all week and has been listed as questionable.

Dallas Goedert Note
Dallas Goedert photo 69. Dallas Goedert TE - PHI (vs . CAR)
In his two full games this season, Dallas Goedert has finished as the TE3 and TE11 in weekly scoring. In those games, Goedert has had a 21.5% target share with 2.17 YPRR, two red zone targets, one deep target, and a 23.3% first-read share. Goedert should have another strong TE1 week. Carolina has allowed the eighth-most receiving fantasy points per game and the 11th-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends. Goedert's median projection and ceiling take a small hit with Tanner McKee under center this week, but he's still a strong play.

Germie Bernard Note
Germie Bernard photo 70. Germie Bernard WR - PIT (at TB)
Last week, with Roman Wilson getting hurt, Germie Bernard stepped up with a 78.8% route share (65.4% slot rate), 25.8% target share, 80 receiving yards (3.08 YPRR), one red zone target, and a 15% first-read share. Bernard is a viable flex this week, but the matchup is tougher, and the coverage structure isn't really in his favor. Tampa Bay has the second-highest single-high rate in the NFL (65.2%). Against single-high, Bernard has seen his target-per-route run rate stay consistent at 21%, but his YPRR has dropped from 1.97 (against two high) to 1.26. Tampa Bay has allowed the 13th-fewest yards per target and the ninth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

Harold Fannin Jr. Note
Harold Fannin Jr. photo 71. Harold Fannin Jr. TE - CLE (vs . BAL)
Harold Fannin Jr. is the TE13 in fantasy points per game. He has earned a 17.6% target share with 1.09 YPRR, three red zone targets, one deep target, and a 15.2% first-read share. Fannin could see more work this week with KC Concepcion possibly out (concussion). Baltimore has faced the fourth-fewest tight end targets while allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends (three scores). Fannin could be a TE1 this week.

Juwan Johnson Note
Juwan Johnson photo 72. Juwan Johnson TE - NO (at NYG)
Despite last week's stinker, Juwan Johnson is the TE8 in fantasy points per game. Johnson has a 14.6% target share with 1.59 YPRR, seven red zone targets, one deep target, and an 18.4% first-read share. New York has been a tougher matchup for tight ends, holding the position to the sixth-fewest yards per target and the 12th-fewest fantasy points per opportunity. I lean on the side that their prowess against the position is more real than illusion after they held Trey McBride to seven receptions (12 targets) and only 31 receiving yards. Johnson will need a score this week to pay off for fantasy.

RJ Harvey Note
RJ Harvey photo 73. RJ Harvey RB - DEN (vs . SEA)
After seeing at least four targets in every game he has been active for this season, last week RJ Harvey goose egged in the passing game with only one target and zero production through the air. For a struggling passing offense, it was head-scratching. Harvey has averaged 8.8 touches and 47 total yards as Denver's passing down back. Harvey has only seen 15.8% of the rushing attempts while logging a 42.6% route share and 17.5% target share. Harvey is back on the PPR flex radar this week against a Seattle pass defense that has allowed the fifth-most receptions to backs and the fifth-most receiving fantasy points per game to the position.

Jakobi Meyers Note
Jakobi Meyers photo 74. Jakobi Meyers WR - JAC (vs . HOU)
Jakobi Meyers is the WR46 in fantasy points per game with two top-36 weekly finishes among receivers (WR28, WR17). Meyers has a 12.6% target share with 1.66 YPRR, four red zone targets, one deep target, and a 15.8% first-read share. Meyers is facing a Texans' pass defense that has the ninth-highest single high rate (56.5%). Against single high, Meyers has only a 10% TPRR with 1.63 YPRR. Meyers is fifth on the team in TPRR against single high, so I wouldn't be surprised if his volume isn't massive this week unless the Jags change up the game plan. Meyers could make the most of his target volume this week, though, as Houston has allowed the third-most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Dontayvion Wicks Note
Dontayvion Wicks photo 75. Dontayvion Wicks WR - PHI (vs . CAR)
In Weeks 1-3, with DeVonta Smith in the lineup, Dontayvion Wicks was the WR32 in fantasy points per game. In those games, Wicks had a 17% target share with 2.27 YPRR, four red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 23.2% first-read share. This week, he'll face a Carolina secondary that has utilized the eighth-highest rate of single-high (57.7%). In Weeks 1-3, against single-high, Wicks had only a 16% TPRR and 1.35 YPRR, with DeVonta Smith leading the way as Philly's single-high go-to. Wicks might not have a monster stat line this week, but he is still a viable flex against a secondary that, since Week 4, has allowed the third-most yards per target and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers. Tanner McKee can only support so many weapons as a passer. At best, Wicks is likely the third option in the passing attack behind Smith and Dallas Goedert.

Brenton Strange Note
Brenton Strange photo 76. Brenton Strange TE - JAC (vs . HOU)
Brenton Strange is the TE14 in fantasy points per game with at least 10.3 PPR points in three of five games this season. Among 47 qualifying tight ends, Strange is eighth in target share (18.2%), sixth in YPRR (2.12), tenth in FD/RR (0.099) and sixth in first-read share (20.8%). Strange has three red zone targets and one deep target. Strange has been amazing on a per-route basis and has emerged as the consistent number two target for Trevor Lawrence. Strange could be a TE1 again this week. Houston has allowed the 12th-most yards per target to tight ends while facing the sixth-fewest targets to the position (tied).

Mark Andrews Note
Mark Andrews photo 77. Mark Andrews TE - BAL (at CLE)
With Mark Andrews solid per-route stats, it's kinda surprising that he has been a fantasy disappointment as the TE19 in fantasy points per game. Among 47 qualifying tight ends, Andrews is fourth in target share (21.9%), 16th in YPRR (1.64), ninth in first downs per route run (0.102), and fourth in first-read share (25.5%). Andrews has only one score while having five red zone targets and one deep target. Andrews could be a TE1 this week, but I think it's more likely he has a down week. Cleveland has allowed the tenth-fewest yards per target to tight ends while ranking 17th in fantasy points per opportunity to position.

Tyler Allgeier Note
Tyler Allgeier photo 78. Tyler Allgeier RB - ARI (at LAR)
With Jeremiyah Love out this week, I expect Tyler Allgeier to operate as Arizona's workhorse. Allgeier has averaged 7.5 touches and 32.5 total yards this season, but he'll take on a much heavier workload this week. Among 42 qualifying rushers, he is sixth in yards after contact per attempt and 37th in missed tackle rate. The Rams have been gashed on the ground, and Allgeier could have a surprisingly good day this week. The Rams have allowed the highest rushing success rate, the ninth-highest explosive run rate, and the eighth-most yards before contact per attempt.

Brian Robinson Jr. Note
Brian Robinson Jr. photo 79. Brian Robinson Jr. RB - ATL (vs . CHI)
Brian Robinson Jr. is the RB21 in fantasy points per game, but one outing in a five-week sample with 11 PPR points and another with 25.2 PPR points can falsely inflate your fantasy stock. Outside of his four touchdowns this season helping his fantasy value, he has averaged 10.8 touches and 46.4 total yards. He has been good on a per-touch basis, though. Among 42 qualifying backs, Robinson is fifth in yards after contact per attempt and 16th in missed tackle rate. Robinson could easily get into the end zone again this week and flirt with RB2 production. Chicago's run defense has stunk, allowing the third-highest rushing success rate, the fifth-most yards before contact per attempt, and the fourth-lowest stuff rate.

Pat Freiermuth Note
Pat Freiermuth photo 81. Pat Freiermuth TE - PIT (at TB)
Pat Freiermuth is a popular streaming tight end option for Week 6, and I'm going against the consensus and fading him this week. Last week, Freiermuth exploded with two scores as the TE4 for the week, leaving him as the TE10 in fantasy points per game for the season. Muth has a 13.4% target share, 1.30 YPRR, five red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 15.4% first-read share. The matchup on paper looks good for Muth, but the coverage structure isn't in his favor at all. Tampa Bay has allowed the 11th-most receiving fantasy points per game and the 14th-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends. Tampa Bay has the second-highest rate of single-high in the NFL (65.2%). Freiermuth has been one of their go-tos against two-high and usually non-existent vs. single-high. Against two-high, Freiermuth has a 29% target-per-route run rate and 2.12 YPRR, but against single-high he has only a 12% target-per-route run rate and 0.80 YPRR. Even going all the way back to 2025, Freiermuth has only had a 15% target-per-route run rate against single-high with 0.84 YPRR. Freiermuth will need a touchdown to likely save his fantasy day this week because I'm not projecting an encore of last week's game in Week 6.

Colston Loveland Note
Colston Loveland photo 82. Colston Loveland TE - CHI (at ATL)
This hurts to type, but Colston Loveland is the TE36 in fantasy points per game. Good lawd, this is frustrating. To see him heavily involved in Week 4 and tank last week was tough. Overall, Loveland has a 70.2% route share, a 12.8% target share, 0.79 YPRR, six red zone targets, and an 18.7% first-read share. It feels like another middling week for Loveland against the Falcons. This week, he faces an Atlanta secondary that has the fourth-highest single high rate (64%). Against single high, Loveland has only a 14% target-per-route run rate with 0.67 YPRR. Atlanta has allowed the 13th-most receiving fantasy points per game to tight ends while ranking 15th in fantasy points per opportunity. I'm likely streaming a tight end over starting Loveland this week, but as has been the Bears all season, watch him pop off with a good game despite the analytics stacked against him.

Wan'Dale Robinson Note
Wan'Dale Robinson photo 83. Wan'Dale Robinson WR - TEN (at IND)
Wan'Dale Robinson is the WR35 in fantasy points per game with a 19.4% target share, 1.32 YPRR, four red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 24.2% first-read share. Robinson has been living off cheap PPR volume with at least five receptions in three games this season (two scores). He's a decent flex option again this week against an Indy secondary that has bled out production to slot receivers. Indy has allowed the third-most yards per target and the ninth-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position.

Courtland Sutton Note
Courtland Sutton photo 85. Courtland Sutton WR - DEN (vs . SEA)
Courtland Sutton is the WR83 in fantasy points per game. Sutton doesn't have a game this season with at least double-digit PPR points. Yes, it has been that bad for Sutton. Bo Nix is the iceberg, and the Broncos offense is the Titanic. Sutton has only a 14.2% target share with 0.78 YPRR, six red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 22.7% first-read share. Sit Sutton again this week. Seattle has limited perimeter wide receivers to the 13th-fewest yards per target and the tenth-fewest receiving fantasy points per game.

Tyler Higbee Note
Tyler Higbee photo 88. Tyler Higbee TE - LAR (vs . ARI)
Over the last two weeks, Tyler Higbee has finished as the TE12 and TE10 in weekly scoring. In those two games, Higbee has had a 68.8% route share, an 11.4% target share, 2.0 YPRR, zero red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 13.9% first-read share. He could easily be a TE1 again this week. Arizona has allowed the most yards per target and the third-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Keenan Allen Note
Keenan Allen photo 89. Keenan Allen WR - IND (vs . TEN)
Keenan Allen has also had an up-and-down season tied to Daniel Jones as the WR41 in fantasy points per game. Allen has a 19.7% target share with 1.41 YPRR, four red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 23.1% first-read share. Allen has surpassed 50 receiving yards only once in four games this season. Allen is a viable flex option this week, matching up against a Titans secondary that has allowed the sixth-most yards per target and the tenth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Khalil Shakir Note
Khalil Shakir photo 91. Khalil Shakir WR - BUF (at LV)
Khalil Shakir has been a forgotten asset at times in the Buffalo passing attack, with only two games with more than 10 PPR points. Shakir has an 18.8% target share with 2.37 YPRR, five red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 23.4% first-read share. From his usage metrics, you'd expect a more productive player who is putting up solid stat lines weekly, but it hasn't been the case. It's worthy noting that Shakir has eclipsed 80 receiving yards in each of the last two games, so maybe I'm overselling his lack of involvement. Shakir could post an eye-opening stat line this week. The Raiders have been incredibly weak against slot receivers, giving up the fifth-most yards per target and the eighth-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position.

Rachaad White Note

Last week, Rachaad White returned and had a 60% snap rate, a 32.4% route share, a 4% target share, eight touches, and 20 total yards. White is an interesting PPR flex this week. Washington will likely be playing catch-up mode in this game, which could mean a lot of White on the field. White has an 8% target share, a 16% target per route run rate, and 0.85 YPRR this season. The 49ers have quietly allowed the most receptions to running backs and the second-most receiving fantasy points per game to the position.

Hunter Henry has been a fantasy ghost as the TE25 in fantasy points per game this season. Henry has posted double-digit PPR points in only one game. He has only a 11.5% target share with 1.53 YPRR, four red zone targets, one deep target, and a 14.4% first-read share. Henry isn't on the streaming radar this week. The Jets have held tight ends to the eighth-fewest yards per target and the 12th-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Over the last two weeks, Makai Lemon has had a 17.9% target share, 1.13 YPRR, zero red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 25% first-read share. He has managed a grand total of 15 PPR points. Lemon has struggled to get on track this season despite the increasing number of opportunities. I don't think this is the week he gets it going. Carolina has limited slot receivers to the fifth-fewest yards per target and the 12th-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Last week, without Marvin Harrison Jr. in the lineup, Kendrick Bourne had a 14.6% target share, 70 receiving yards (2.19 YPRR), one red zone target, one deep target, and a 19.4% first-read share (second on the team). Bourne has a nice matchup this week, making him flex-viable. Bourne could see a bump in usage again this week if Trent McDuffie is in Michael Wilson's back pocket. With consideration to the matchup, this could elevate Bourne. The Rams have been giving to slot receivers, allowing the second-most receiving touchdowns (tied) and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position. The Rams are also 16th in yards per target allowed to the slot.

After seeing his snap and route share dip in Week 4, Kalif Raymond rebounded in Week 5 with a 67.6% snap share and 57.4% route share. The Bears could make him a big part of the game plan again this week. Raymond has a 22% TPRR, 1.90 YPRR, four red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 16.8% first-read share. Raymond could be utilized more this week because of the coverage structure. This week, he faces an Atlanta secondary that has the fourth-highest single high rate (64%). Against single-high, Raymond is second on the team with a 24% TPRR and 2.37 YPRR. Raymond could be a nice sneaky flex this week. The Falcons secondary has allowed the 12th-most yards per target and the fourth-most receiving fantasy points per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Since Week 3, Schultz has had only a 10.9% target share, 1.21 YPRR, and a 12.7% first-read share. In those three games, he has still seen three red zone targets and two deep targets. Schultz isn't a fantasy option this week. The Jags have held tight ends to the seventh-fewest yards per target and the tenth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Kyle Pitts' playing time has been volatile this season. In his five games played, he has two weeks with route shares under 50% and three games with at least a 64% route share. In two of those outings, he had at least a 70% route share. One of those games was last week. Pitts has an 11.2% target share (17% TPRR) with 1.22 YPRR, two red zone targets, one deep target, and an 11.9% first-read share. Pitts is on the streaming radar this week against a Bears defense that has defended the fewest tight end targets in the NFL, but they have allowed the tenth-most yards per target to the position. Pitts could flirt with TE1 production this week, but he could also be a nothingburger in your lineup.

Barner has a 13.6% target share with 1.07 YPRR, five red zone targets, and a 13.7% first-read share. Barner's touchdown equity in the passing offense is palpable. Denver has been vulnerable to tight ends, giving up the 12th-most yards per target and the 13th-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position. Barner could post low-end TE1 numbers this week.

This week, he'll face a Carolina secondary that has utilized the eighth-highest rate of single-high (57.7%). Since Week 4, against single-high, Cooper has had a 20% target-per-route run rate and 3.13 YPRR. Cooper should be heavily involved in the game plan for Philly this week. Since Week 4, Carolina has allowed the third-most yards per target and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers. Yes, I know you were expecting to see Pat Freiermuth's name here, but I lean toward Darnell Washington having the busier day in Week 6. This goes back to Tampa Bay's love of single high and how Pittsburgh has deployed these tight ends. Tampa Bay has the second-highest rate of single-high in the NFL (65.2%). Against single-high, Washington leads the team with a 25% target per route run rate with 2.0 YPRR. Freiermuth has been one of their go-tos against two-high and usually non-existent vs. single-high. Against two high, Friermuth has a 29% target per route run rate and 2.12 YPRR, but against single high he has only a 12% target per route run rate and 0.80 YPRR. Overall, Washington has a 65.3% snap rate and only a 35.8% route share with an 8.6% target share (22% TPRR), 1.79 YPRR, three red zone targets, one deep target, and a 10.3% first-read share. With the Steelers short on wide receivers and the coverage matchup, I could see Washington having a surprising game as a wonderful streaming option. Tampa Bay has allowed the 11th-most receiving fantasy points per game and the 14th-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends. Washington was a TE1 in Week 4 (TE12). He could be a TE1 again this week.

He has an 18.2% target share with 1.24 YPRR (4.85 aDOT), three red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 25.3% first-read share. Concepcion has been the underneath option for Cleveland while also seeing a 29.6% designed target rate. This is low-key a nice matchup for Concepcion. Baltimore has allowed the ninth-most yards per target and the 12th-most fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers. Baltimore has also given up the third-highest missed tackle rate to opposing wide receivers and tight ends while ranking 15th in YAC per reception against those positions. Concepcion could have his best game of the season this week.
