Fantasy Football Player Notes

Week 5 Rankings

Jahmyr Gibbs Note
Jahmyr Gibbs photo 1. Jahmyr Gibbs RB - DET (at ARI)
The 1.01 in fantasy drafts is currently the #2 player across all positions in fantasy. With seven touchdowns in four games, Gibbs is doing exactly what we had hoped for all offseason. With a four-game touchdown streak, it's hard to see when the streak may end. This offense runs through Gibbs literally and metaphorically. Especially since their defense is rivalling for one of the worst in the league, there will be plenty of shootout game scripts for the star RB. This week they face the Cardinals, who have surprisingly allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs. These two offenses know how to air it out, and neither defense should stand a chance. As a result, Gibbs remains atop fantasy rankings regardless of matchup.

Bijan Robinson Note
Bijan Robinson photo 2. Bijan Robinson RB - ATL (vs . BAL)
Bijan Robinson has a knack for exploding during primetime games. With three career 50+ yard touchdown runs, all have come on Monday Night Football. He also had 194 rushing yards and two scores in Week Three Thursday Night Football. He looks to perfect the primetime trifecta with a date with the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. The Ravens have been solid against the run, but they still allowed Jonathan Taylor 121 total yards and two scores in Week One. With Michael Penix taking this offence to new heights, Robinson remains matchup-proof and one of the best fantasy players at any position.

Jonathan Taylor Note
Jonathan Taylor photo 3. Jonathan Taylor RB - IND (at PIT)
Taylor has three two-touchdown weeks through four games this season. That's wild. Last week, he faced a tough Commanders front and still managed 95 yards and two scores on the ground. The only negative is that he has taken a step back in the receiving game, with only six yards over the last two games. That said, he is locked in to 20+ carries and always a touchdown threat. As a result, he may not have the ceiling of Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson, but he is next in line. This week, they face the Steelers, who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to the RB position this season.

Kyren Williams Note
Kyren Williams photo 4. Kyren Williams RB - LAR (vs . BUF)
There is no reason to doubt Kyren Williams. McVay loves him, and he is the top dog on a great offense. Especially lately, he has seen an increase in receiving work, adding extra stability to his RB1 status. Last week, Kyren saw 13 targets against the Eagles, catching 10 of them for 67 yards. He also had 16 carries for 80 yards and two scores. Any back that has the ability to see that kind of workload will be amazing for fantasy. This week, they take on the Bills, who are allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Blake Corum is an afterthought in this offense and Kyren should have another electric Week.

Derrick Henry Note
Derrick Henry photo 5. Derrick Henry RB - BAL (at ATL)
With Lamar Jackson dealing with an ankle injury, the entire Ravens offense takes a step back. That said, there is even more reason to rely on Henry. Despite defenses being able to focus on Henry, we all know that you can only slow him down for so long; eventually, a big run is coming. However, this week may not be the best week for Lamar to miss. The Falcons have been rolling. More specifically, their run defense has been outstanding. This season, they are allowing 48.3 rushing yards per game. The next fewest is Jacksonville with 73.8 yards. As a result, I am going to have Henry outside of my top-12 RBs this week.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Note
Jaxon Smith-Njigba photo 6. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR - SEA (vs . SF)
It seemed like nothing could slow down JSN, starting the season with finishes of WR seven, one, and one. Unfortunately, the streak came to an end with a WR35 performance against the Chargers. This was not necessarily his fault, as the Chargers failed to show up and only looked functional in the fourth quarter. As a result, JSN was not necessary to move this offense, instead relying on Emanual Wilson. It's JSN; there is no reason to be worried. However, he now starts a stretch of tough matchups against the 49ers, Broncos, and Chiefs. He remains the top fantasy WR, but don't be surprised if his historical pace slows down over the next few weeks.

Puka Nacua Note
Puka Nacua photo 7. Puka Nacua WR - LAR (vs . BUF)
The Return of the Puka came in full force last week. Last week, Puka caught nine passes for 125 yards and added a rushing score. Whether it's Davante Adams or Puka, the Rams' top receiver is amazing for fantasy. However, last week's performance didn't come without concern. It was reported that Puka has been dealing with a "pre-hernia." By all accounts, this sounds like a ticking time bomb. Maybe it doesn't impact this season, or maybe he aggravates it next week and misses over a month. We're playing with fire, but at least these flames are hot. Over the next few weeks, Puka has great matchups against the Bills and Cardinals. With Ja'Marr Chase dealing with a concussion, and JSN having tough matchups, Puka is my WR1 for this week and likely next week as well.

Javonte Williams Note
Javonte Williams photo 8. Javonte Williams RB - DAL (vs . TB)
If you are an average back who is a workhorse on a good offense, good things will happen. That is exactly what Javonte Williams has been doing, scoring six touchdowns in the first four games of the season. That includes last week, when he had a three-touchdown performance against the Texans. His three touchdowns propelled him to the RB3 on the week, despite having only 83 total yards. This season, he is the RB7 and has three top-10 finishes over the first four weeks. This week he faces the Buccaneers with Vita Vea and company. This should be a great run-stuffing unit; however, they allowed explosive runs to both Kaleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd last week. With the firepower of this Cowboys offense, Williams remains a RB1 even in a tough matchup on paper.

Christian McCaffrey Note
Christian McCaffrey photo 9. Christian McCaffrey RB - SF (at SEA)
The 49ers are humming this season. With Brock Purdy having yet to take a sack, the entire offense has been clinical. CMC has been riding the offensive success, despite sharing some touches with rookie Kaelon Black. Last week, the Broncos held McCaffrey to a respectable 70 total yards. However, he managed to find the endzone for the third straight week, making him the RB19 on the Week. This week, they face their toughest test against the 3-1 Seahawks. The defending Super Bowl Champions have been outstanding on defense (outside of their loss to Washington). That said, their weakest part has been against the RB position. Averaging the 18th most fantasy points to opposing RBs. It may be a tough game for CMC, but his endzone work and receiving ability continue to place him in RB1 territory.

Chase Brown Note
Chase Brown photo 10. Chase Brown RB - CIN (at MIA)
Even with a revamped offensive line, the Bengals have struggled to run the ball. Averaging the second-fewest rushing yards per game, only behind Green Bay, Chase Brown has yet to get the ground game going. Thankfully, he is an electric receiving weapon, catching all 11 targets for 71 yards last week. With Ja'Marr Chase potentially missing this week with a concussion, and Tee Higgins dealing with a groin injury, Brown could see a lot of work this week. Even if everyone is healthy, this matchup is perfect for the back out of London, Ontario. The Dolphins defense is a mess, and averaging the third most fantasy points to opposing RBs. This could be the perfect "get right" game for a struggling Bengals rushing attack.

D'Andre Swift Note
D'Andre Swift photo 11. D'Andre Swift RB - CHI (at GB)
If you have Swift in fantasy, his inability to score on the goal line has been soul-crushing. Fumbling in Week 2 against the Vikings and failing to convert any of his three goal-line attempts last week is the last thing you want to see. Especially when Kyle Monangai ended up taking over for 146 rushing yards and both rushing TDs. Personally, I believe this was to punish Swift's fumble in a game they controlled from start to finish. However, if we see Monangai continue to see a larger workload this week, we may need to reassess. Thankfully, both backs should get home this week against the Packers, who are allowing the second-most fantasy points to the position.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Note
Amon-Ra St. Brown photo 12. Amon-Ra St. Brown WR - DET (at ARI)
In a Barn Burner of a Sunday Night Football game, ARSB finishing with 75 yards was underwhelming. Who would have thought that the injured Panthers secondary would be the ones to end his three-game touchdown streak? Thankfully, his 11 targets and nine catches showcase his elite floor even in his "down" weeks. This week, they have another shootout on hand, facing the Cardinals. Neither of these teams has learned how to play defense this season and should be able to score at will. As a result, this should be the perfect matchup for ARSB to bounce back. Don't worry about last week; ARSB is my WR2 on the week behind Puka Nacua.

CeeDee Lamb Note
CeeDee Lamb photo 13. CeeDee Lamb WR - DAL (vs . TB)
Lamb has had by far his best start to any season so far. With nearly 500 receiving yards in four games and averaging a touchdown per game, he has been phenomenal. Unfortunately, this production has come at the expense of George Pickens, but if you have Lamb, that doesn't matter. What does matter is that Pickens could return to form any week, sharing what has been a dominant workload for Lamb. As long as that doesn't happen, Lamb is arguably the best receiver in fantasy. Even if Pickens re-emerges, Lamb would only fall into the mid-WR1 territory. This week, they have a tough matchup against the Bucs, who have allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to the WR position.
James Cook III Note
James Cook III photo 14. James Cook III RB - BUF (at LAR)
Turns out, if you're attached to Josh Allen, you don't need to catch passes. Despite having only 24 receiving yards across four games, Cook's rushing ability has kept him in RB1 territory. Sitting third in the league in rushing yards, he has been one of the more consistent fantasy backs. Add in the fact he is on a three-game touchdown streak, and he has been worth his second-round ADP. This week, they face the Rams, who have stifled opposing running backs. Averaging the second-fewest fantasy points at the position, Cook may finally dip below six yards per carry for the first time since Week 1. Without the passing work and the tough matchup, Cook is an RB2 that has RB1 potential if he can find the end zone again.

Jaylen Warren Note
Jaylen Warren photo 15. Jaylen Warren RB - PIT (vs . IND)
Jaylen Warren has been operating as Pittsburgh's bell cow in Rico Dowdle's absence. It sounds like Dowdle will be back this week. I have no clue how Pittsburgh will divvy up the workload between these two backs, but I lean toward Warren retaining the lead role at least for this week, with Dowdle likely being eased back in. Could it be a full-blown committee this week? It's possible, which is why I can't put Warren in the strong start category despite the fact that he's awesome and should retain the clear lead role, if not bell cow usage, even with Dowdle back. In Week 1, Warren had only a 36.5% snap share with 47.6% of the rushing attempts and a 31% route share (14.6% target share). Warren was the RB25 for the week with 15 touches and 73 total yards. Among 46 qualifying backs, Warren is 14th in explosive run rate, sixth in yards after contact per attempt, and fourth-best in missed tackle rate. Indy has allowed the 11th-highest rushing success rate, the seventh-most yards before contact per attempt, and the seventh-highest missed tackle rate. Warren could easily be anywhere from a solid flex to an RB1 this week. There's a wide range of outcomes here, as we have no clue about the division of labor for the backfield this week.

Bhayshul Tuten Note
Bhayshul Tuten photo 16. Bhayshul Tuten RB - JAC (vs . PHI)
I swear I'M NOT TILTING AT ALL! I'M NOT TILTING LAST WEEK! I promise. Ok, fine. I'll admit it. Watching Tuten get two touchdowns whipped off the board by holding calls and then watching Chris Rodriguez score last week made my face melt. Tuten finished with a disappointing 19 touches and 91 total yards when the fantasy box score should have been more grand. Tuten still finished with a season-high 59% snap share, 68% designed carry share, and 40.7% route share. Tuten has averaged 16.8 touches and 82.8 total yards as the RB17 in fantasy points per game. Tuten has another chance at a strong game this week. Philly ranks 17th in rushing success rate allowed while giving up the fifth-most yards after contact per attempt, and the second-highest missed tackle rate. This is a nice matchup for a back with Tuten's elusiveness.

Braelon Allen Note
Braelon Allen photo 17. Braelon Allen RB - NYJ (vs . CLE)
I expect Braelon Allen to draw another start this week for the Jets with Breece Hall sidelined. Last week, Allen only finished as the RB33 in weekly scoring with 16 touches and 67 total yards, but he operated as the Jets' bell cow. Last week, Allen played 93.8% of the snaps with all of the rushing attempts and a 66.7% route share. Allen still hasn't been impressive on a per-touch basis with only a 3.1% explosive run rate, 1.88 yards after contact per attempt, and a 15% missed tackle rate. When he's seeing this type of volume and workload, it almost doesn't matter, though. The Browns' run defense will be more giving this week. Cleveland has allowed the second-highest explosive run rate, the sixth-most yards after contact per attempt, and the 12th-highest missed tackle rate. Allen should be a solid RB2 this week.

Nico Collins Note
Nico Collins photo 18. Nico Collins WR - HOU (at TEN)
Some players can change an entire offense. We saw this last week, with Collins returning to the Texans and immediately boosting the entire offense. Last week, Collins finished the game with seven catches for 118 yards and two scores. In his two healthy games, Collins has finished as the WR9 and WR3. He also has one of the easiest schedules of all receivers over the rest of the season. Seriously, he only plays one game against a defense that is outside the top 16 for most fantasy points allowed to receivers through four weeks. Buckle up, because the Collins ride is just getting started.

Aaron Jones Sr. Note
Aaron Jones Sr. photo 19. Aaron Jones Sr. RB - MIN (at NO)
Aaron Jones has operated as Minnesota's bell cow since Week 2 as the RB16 in fantasy points per game. He hasn't played less than 73.1% of the snaps in any of those games, while averaging 23 touches and 108.4 total yards. Jones has volumed his way to productive fantasy days, but his efficiency remains horrible. Among 46 qualifying backs, Jones ranks 26th in explosive run rate, 34th in yards after contact per attempt, and 42nd in missed tackle rate. This week, that likely doesn't matter as he'll see another 20 touches and the matchup is amazing. The Saints have allowed the third-highest explosive run rate, the second-highest rushing success rate, and the sixth-highest missed tackle rate. I could list off probably 4-5 categories that the Saints suck in with defending the run, but what's the point? You get the gist here. They stink, and Jones should have plenty of room to scamper this week.
Emanuel Wilson Note
Emanuel Wilson photo 20. Emanuel Wilson RB - SEA (vs . SF)
Last week, Emanuel Wilson was the RB6 in fantasy as Seattle's lead back. I expect him to hold that role again this week. Last week, Wilson played 58.6% of the snaps with a 63.6% rushing share, a 34.6% route share, and an 18.2% target share. He finished with 24 touches and 120 total yards (two scores). Wilson has been fairly efficient with this workload. Among 46 qualifying rushers, he ranks 23rd in yards after contact per attempt and 18th in missed tackle rate. Wilson should have success again this week against a 49ers' run defense that has allowed the 13th-highest rushing success rate, the tenth-highest yards before contact per attempt, and the 11th-highest gap rushing success rate (Wilson: 41.5% gap).

Drake London Note
Drake London photo 21. Drake London WR - ATL (vs . BAL)
Whatever script the NFL had for the Falcons, Michael Penix Jr. has torn it up and turned it into a Michael Bay movie. With fantasy explosions everywhere, Drake London and Bijan Robinson have strung together strong performances. Unfortunately for London, Penix has only passed for one touchdown in each game, and neither has gone his way. This week, they have a tough task against the Ravens, who are likely without Lamar Jackson. However, you can pass on this defense, allowing the eighth most fantasy points to opposing receivers. As long as Penix is under center, London is a WR1 for fantasy.
Quinshon Judkins Note
Quinshon Judkins photo 22. Quinshon Judkins RB - CLE (at NYJ)
Quinshon Judkins is the RB21 in fantasy points per game now after seeing a bump in the passing game last week and getting into the end zone. Judkins has averaged 18.6 touches and 68 total yards. Judkins has a 36% route share this season with a 13.9% target share. Last week, his route share was still in line with this usage with a 36.1% mark, but he had a 21.9% target share. I don't expect that type of passing game usage to repeat, but I could easily be wrong. Judkins did see a 16.7% target share in Week 2, so maybe he does see somewhere in this area code of passing usage weekly moving forward. Judkins remains inefficient with his workload. Among 46 qualifying backs, he is 43rd in explosive run rate, 31st in yards after contact per attempt, and 21st in missed tackle rate. Much like with Braelon Allen, Judkins is seeing enough volume that it doesn't matter most weeks, especially when he gets in the end zone. Judkins should have another solid RB2 week. The Jets have allowed the seventh-highest rushing success rate, the sixth-most yards before contact per attempt, and the third-highest missed tackle rate.

Ashton Jeanty Note
Ashton Jeanty photo 23. Ashton Jeanty RB - LV (at NE)
Entering the league, Jeanty's receiving ability was questioned. After a year and four weeks in the NFL, it is clear that his receiving may not only be effective, but a strong suit of his. Sitting with only three fewer receptions than Jahmyr Gibbs on the season, he is third in receiving yards and tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns at the position. Add this to 15+ carries a game, and we have the formula for a true fantasy RB1. Unfortunately, he has yet to score a rushing touchdown this season. If Jeanty were finding pay dirt more frequently, he would be in discussion for top five at the position. However, without the scores, he remains a low-end RB1. This week, they face the Patriots, who average well at stopping opposing fantasy RBs. It's only a matter of time until we see Jeanty find the endzone again this year; maybe this will be the week.

Cam Skattebo Note
Cam Skattebo photo 24. Cam Skattebo RB - NYG (at WAS)
Cam Skattebo's Week 4 stat line looked much better in totality than it should have. Skattebo finished with 19 touches, 66 total yards, a 62.3% snap share, 64.3% of the rushing attempts, and a 45.5% route share (3.4%). This was thanks to a Najee Harris fumble in the fourth quarter of last week's game. In the first three quarters, Skattebo had a 55.6% snap share with 55.6% of the rushing attempts (Najee Harris: 38.9% of the rushing attempts). Harris had three red zone carries last week while Skattebo had only two. Harris is eating into Skattebo's workload somewhat. Skattebo's 2.16 yards after contact per attempt and 15% missed tackle rate are still passable but not amazing numbers. Skattebo remains a low-end RB2/flex this week, but he has a tough matchup, so he'll likely need a touchdown to pay off for fantasy. Washington has allowed the 12th-lowest explosive run rate, the 12th-fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the fifth-fewest yards after contact per attempt.

Brock Bowers Note
Brock Bowers photo 25. Brock Bowers TE - LV (at NE)
Since returning, Bowers has come through on all of our promises this offseason. Across two games, he has 25 targets, 16 receptions, 202 yards, and two touchdowns. In his two games, he has yet to finish below the TE3 on the week. Pairing Bowers' elite talent with the TE-Friendly Kirk Cousins is perfect for fantasy. Even in a tough matchup against the Patriots this week, Bowers should continue to thrive. I could tell you that the Patriots are allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing TEs, but we all know Bowers is a unicorn who can outplay any matchup.

Jeremiyah Love Note
Jeremiyah Love photo 26. Jeremiyah Love RB - ARI (vs . DET)
One week after operating as Arizona's bell cow, Jeremiyah Love was back into a frustrating committee in Week 4. Love talked about his body being tired post-game, which could be a reason for the backslide with the workload. He also picked up or exacerbated his ankle injury. He opened this week with a limited practice. Love played 46% of the snaps with a 53.8% rushing share and a 23.1% route share (2.9% target share). He finished with 15 touches and 55 total yards. Among 45 qualifying backs, Love ranks 16th in yards after contact per attempt and 30th in missed tackle rate. He faces a run defense that has allowed the highest explosive run rate, the 12th-highest rushing success rate, and the second-most yards before contact per attempt. Love's conditioning, health, and gamescript could be limiting factors for him this week.

Davante Adams Note
Davante Adams photo 27. Davante Adams WR - LAR (vs . BUF)
In his two games played with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams has had a 19% target share with 0.81 YPRR (58 total receiving yards), two red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 23.2% first-read share. His other two games of the season have loudly displayed that Adams isn't near the end of the line, so this feels like small sample variance with his production dipping so much. His target share and first-read share were still strong in those games. I'm expecting a bounce-back performance for Adams in Week 5. Buffalo has the 11th-highest two-high rate (56.2%). This season against two-high, Adams has a 21% target-per-route run rate with 1.88 YPRR. His numbers are much better against single-high, but these aren't horrible metrics by any stretch of the imagination. Buffalo has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Chris Olave Note
Chris Olave photo 28. Chris Olave WR - NO (vs . MIN)
Olave is a yardage monster. Sitting as the WR4 with only one touchdown on the season is incredible. If it wasn't for a tough stretch of defenses, there would be no sign of slowing down for the veteran WR. With eight or more receptions in every game so far and over 100 yards in three of four games, he is the perfect mix of consistency for fantasy. Unfortunately, the Saints now face the dreaded Brian Flores defense with the Vikings. Outside of Olave, the Saints struggled against a less-than-mediocre Falcons defense last week. As a result, Flores could have this offense floundering this week. That said, Olave is a top-end talent and is guaranteed to see volume. This keeps him at the bottom of the WR1 range for me this week.

Michael Wilson Note
Michael Wilson photo 29. Michael Wilson WR - ARI (vs . DET)
Michael Wilson has emerged as Arizona's running mate with Trey McBride through the air as the WR20 in fantasy points per game. Wilson has a 27% target share, 1.69 YPRR, eight red zone targets (third among all wideouts), five deep targets, and a 35.7% first-read share. These are ELITE usage numbers, and his per-route efficiency is slowly ticking up too. Wilson should eat again this week. Detroit has allowed the sixth-most yards per target and the tenth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Christian Watson Note
Christian Watson photo 30. Christian Watson WR - GB (vs . CHI)
Christian Watson has been one of the best storylines this season. The hyper-athletic receiver has progressed into a WR1 and had a great start to the year. Last week, he had his first "down" performance. For whatever reason, the Packers decided to rely on the short game, rarely letting Jordan Love air it out. Still, Watson caught all three of his targets for 47 yards. This week, he faces the Bears defense that was projected to be one of the worst in the league. However, they have only allowed 28 points over the last three games. They are also allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game. Watson is always a threat to break a big play and is in the red zone, making him a great WR2 or fringe WR1.

Bucky Irving Note
Bucky Irving photo 31. Bucky Irving RB - TB (at DAL)
Last week, Bucky Irving maintained his lead back role with a 55.7% snap rate, 38.9% route share, 16 touches, and 61 total yards. He didn't draw a target last week. The most worrisome part of his usage last week was that he split snaps with Kenneth Gainwell (25%) and Sean Tucker (37.5%) in the red zone. Irving had a 37.5% snap rate inside the 20-yard line last week while logging two red zone rushing attempts, with Tucker finishing with three. This is a horrible outcome for Irving's touchdown prospects weekly if it continues. Irving's per-touch metrics have started to dip from a strong start, which tells me he likely isn't 100% healthy. Among 45 qualifying backs, he is 29th in yards after contact per attempt and 28th in missed tackle rate. We'll see if Irving can bounce back this week. He has a nice matchup in front of him. Dallas has allowed the fourth-highest explosive run rate, the ninth-highest rushing success rate, and the 14th-most yards after contact per attempt.

Zay Flowers Note
Zay Flowers photo 32. Zay Flowers WR - BAL (at ATL)
When Flowers has been on the field, he has been electric. That said, the electricity has also come with Lamar Jackson throwing the rock. With Jackson likely missing this week, it's hard to trust Tyler Huntley to support Flowers as a WR1. There is a world that the exact reason some don't view Flowers as a true "WR1" is the reason he remains a WR1 in fantasy this week. Flowers is explosive with the ball in his hands and should see plenty of easy targets in this game. The Falcons have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to the position, and by far the fewest rushing yards per game. As a result, Flowers will need to have a big game if the Ravens want to stop the Falcons' win streak.

Trey McBride Note
Trey McBride photo 33. Trey McBride TE - ARI (vs . DET)
Trey McBride has 11 more targets than the next best TE. His usage at the position is unmatched and has kept him afloat despite his relative inefficiency this year. Heading into Week 5, he is fourth in yards and tied for seventh in touchdowns. Either way, the Cardinals have a perfect matchup in Week 5. Facing the Lions, this is a true rendition of the Spider-Man meme. Both of these offenses want to air it out and can not rely on their defense. In a game that is tied for the highest projected total, McBride could be in line for a monster game this week.

Rhamondre Stevenson Note
Rhamondre Stevenson photo 34. Rhamondre Stevenson RB - NE (vs . LV)
It sounds like Rhamondre Stevenson is going to play in Week 5. He sustained a knee injury last week and has had limited practices all week. He has been listed as questionable. This season, Stevenson has had a 52.7% snap rate with a 29.2% rushing share and 47.2% route share (10% target share) in games with TreVeyon Henderson active. I'd expect similar usage or a full-on split between them, with a slight edge to Stevenson on passing downs. Among 46 qualifying rushers, Stevenson ranks 31st in explosive run rate, 22nd in yards after contact per attempt, and 38th in missed tackle rate. He hasn't been his usual efficient self through four weeks. With him being less than 100%, I'm not expecting that to change this week. He has split the red zone rushing work evenly with Henderson, with each back getting two carries inside the 20-yard line. Stevenson should see double-digit opportunities this week as a flex play in a good matchup. Las Vegas has allowed the ninth-highest explosive run rate, the second-most yards before contact per attempt, and the tenth-highest rushing success rate.

David Montgomery Note
David Montgomery photo 35. David Montgomery RB - HOU (at TEN)
David Montgomery continues to split the backfield work with Woody Marks. Since Week 2, Montgomery has had a 57.8% snap rate, a 46.6% rushing share, a 43% route share, and a 3.5% target share. Over the last three weeks, he has averaged 10.3 touches and 38.3 total yards. Montgomery has only a 2.4% explosive run rate, 1.68 yards after contact per attempt, and a 15% missed tackle rate, but he has no running room. Montgomery has seen only 1.02 yards before contact per attempt and has been hit at or behind the line of scrimmage with 55.3% of his carries. I don't see Montgomery finding any more running room this week. Tennessee has allowed the eighth-lowest explosive run rate and yards per carry, the sixth-fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the 13th-lowest EPA per rush.

George Pickens Note
George Pickens photo 36. George Pickens WR - DAL (vs . TB)
Through four games, this has been a disappointing season for George Pickens as the WR39 in fantasy points per game. He has only one game with more than 15 PPR points. Last week, I thought we'd see the bounceback game for Pickens, but it didn't happen. What I didn't anticipate for Pickens was that Houston would absolutely abandon their single high ways for two-high (66% of their defensive snaps). We're going back to the single-high well with Pickens this week against a Bucs defense that has utilized single-high at the third-highest rate (66.2%). Overall, Pickens has an 18% target share, 1.65 YPRR, two red zone targets, five deep targets, and a 20.2% first-read share. Against single-high this season, Pickens has seen his target per route run rate climb from 14% to 35% and his YPRR increase from 1.41 to 2.30. If the Bucs continue their single high ways, Pickens should shred them. Tampa Bay has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers while ranking 15th in yards per target against the position.

Garrett Wilson Note
Garrett Wilson photo 37. Garrett Wilson WR - NYJ (vs . CLE)
The Jets got dominated by the Bears last week. Running only 32 plays in the game, it was nearly impossible for anyone to get home for fantasy. As a result, Wilson led the team in receptions with three. We can throw out last week's game as it was a master class performance by Ben Johnson and the Bears. This week against the Browns, things should be a lot different. In what has been one of the grossest matchups over the last decade, you may not want to watch these two teams duel it out. That said, there will be fantasy points to be had. The Browns are allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs, putting Wilson in the high-end WR2 conversation.

Parker Washington Note
Parker Washington photo 38. Parker Washington WR - JAC (vs . PHI)
After last week's surprising dud, Parker Washington is the WR23 in fantasy points per game. Last week, Washington had only a 13% target share and a 14.3% first-read share as Trevor Lawrence was locked onto Brenton Strange. In the three previous weeks, Washington was the team's unquestioned alpha with a 27.2% target share, 3.25 YPRR, 0.132 FD/RR, and a 32.8% first-read share. This feels like an outlier instead of a signal to panic. Washington also faced DJ Turner with 63.6% of his routes last week. Turner held him to one target and zero receptions. Washington could bounce back this week. Philly ranks 17th in yards per target and 19th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to perimeter wide receivers, so this is more of a neutral matchup for Washington.

Malik Nabers Note
Malik Nabers photo 39. Malik Nabers WR - NYG (at WAS)
Malik Nabers landed on the injury report this week (knee). He had soreness and didn't practice. His shoulder has been an issue, but we haven't seen his knee be a problem in the last few weeks, since he has been a full-time option. I'll update his outlook on Friday, but I wouldn't be surprised if Nabers misses Week 5.

Justin Jefferson is still recovering from an ankle injury. He opened this week with a limited practice. I'll update his outlook on Friday.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt Note
Jacory Croskey-Merritt photo 41. Jacory Croskey-Merritt RB - WAS (vs . NYG)
Jacory Croskey-Merritt is the RB36 in fantasy points per game, averaging 15.3 touches and 49.3 total yards. Bill has a 46.5% snap share with 47.5% of the rushing attempts and a 25% route share (5.1% target share). His rushing metrics have suffered behind Washington's horrible offensive line. Bill has only a 3.7% explosive run rate, 1.84 yards after contact per attempt, and a 5% missed tackle rate. He has another nice matchup this week, but I doubt his ability to find space again this week behind this offensive line. He has only 0.96 yards before contact per attempt. The line isn't even giving him a hard before contact while he also has a 53.6% rate of getting hit at or behind the line of scrimmage. New York has allowed the 12th-highest explosive run rate, the third-highest rushing success rate, and the fifth-most yards before contact per attempt. Bill should see enough volume to be at least flex-viable.

Ollie Gordon II Note
Ollie Gordon II photo 42. Ollie Gordon II RB - MIA (vs . CIN)
Last week, Ollie Gordon led the way for Miami's rushing attack with a 56.8% snap rate, a 50% rushing share, a 35% route share, and an 11.8% target share. Gordon finished with 11 touches and 100 total yards as the RB16 for the week. Gordon was running through some massive holes, as he had 4.78 yards before contact per attempt. I don't think that he sees anything close to that weekly, so take the massive game with a grain of salt. With the small sample of work this season, Gordon has 3.34 yards after contact per attempt, but his 14% missed tackle rate is more indicative of his elusiveness than the gaudy yards after contact per attempt number. With all of that said, Gordon could have another nice RB2 week against Cincy this week. Cincy has allowed the 11th-highest explosive run rate, the ninth-most yards after contact per attempt, and the fourth-highest missed tackle rate.

Jameson Williams Note
Jameson Williams photo 43. Jameson Williams WR - DET (at ARI)
Jameson Williams had a boom game last week as the WR17 for the week. This week could be more of the same for the volatile big-play machine. Williams has a 14.9% target share, 1.45 YPRR, two red zone targets, six deep targets, and a 23.7% first-read share. Arizona has been bleeding out production to perimeter wide receivers, and Williams' splits this season are in favor of the heavy two-high coverage he'll see this week. Arizona has utilized two high at the second-highest rate in the NFL (73.2%). Against two-high, Williams has seen his target-per-route run rate climb from 14% to 16% and his YPRR increase from 1.32 to 1.57. Arizona has allowed the most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

DK Metcalf Note
DK Metcalf photo 44. DK Metcalf WR - PIT (vs . IND)
DK Metcalf has had a predictably rough start to the season as the WR35 in fantasy points per game. He has rebounded somewhat over the last two games with at least 12.1 PPR points in each week. Metcalf has a 21.3% target share with 1.33 YPRR, one red zone target, ten deep targets, and a 29.6% first-read share. Metcalf has had some tough corner assignments to begin the season, but he has been woefully inefficient with his targets. We'll see if that changes this week against an Indy pass defense that has held perimeter wide receivers to the ninth-fewest yards per target and the fourth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity. I'm not hopeful for Metcalf this week.

Matthew Golden Note
Matthew Golden photo 45. Matthew Golden WR - GB (vs . CHI)
Matthew Golden continues with his sophomore breakout season as the WR16 in fantasy points per game. Among 77 qualifying receivers, Golden is 19th in separation and 30th in route win rate. Golden leads the team with a 22.7% target share and 27% first-read share with 2.03 YPRR, five red zone targets, and seven deep targets. This week, Golden faces a Chicago pass defense that has the fifth-highest single high rate (62.9%). Against single high, Golden has seen a strong 25% target per route run rate but his YPRR has slipped to 1.27. That's not great at all, but he should still see the volume this week with that strong target per route run rate. Golden and Christian are the team's top targets against single high. Golden should have a strong week against a secondary that has allowed the second-most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Tony Pollard Note
Tony Pollard photo 46. Tony Pollard RB - TEN (vs . HOU)
Since Week 2, Tony Pollard has been the RB24 in fantasy points per game, averaging 18 touches and 70.3 total yards. Over the last three weeks, Pollard has had a 54.2% snap rate, a 61.8% rushing share, and a 29.2% route share (9.2% target share). Among 45 qualifying backs, Pollard is 17th in explosive run rate and 14th in yards after contact per attempt. Pollard is only a volume-based flex this week that likely needs a touchdown to pay off for fantasy GMs. Houston has remained a top-tier run defense, allowing the seventh-lowest explosive run rate, the 13th-lowest rushing success rate, and the 11th-fewest yards after contact per attempt.

Omarion Hampton Note
Omarion Hampton photo 47. Omarion Hampton RB - LAC (vs . DEN)
Last week, the Chargers backfield became a disgusting three-way committee. Hampton was third among the backs in snaps with 32.4%, second in rushing share (28.1%), and third in route share (24.4%). Hampton finished with 11 touches and 53 total yards. It was his lowest touch count of the season. Every week feels like a new frustrating low for Hampton as Mike McDaniel continues to do goofy stuff. The most frustrating part about all of it is that Hampton hasn't been bad when he has carried the rock. Among 46 qualifying rushers, he ranks 18th in explosive run rate and eighth in yards after contact per attempt. If they give Hampton more volume this week, behind a degraded offensive line, he could still have a nice day (possibly). Denver hasn't been able to stop anyone on the ground. The Broncos have allowed the fifth-highest explosive run rate, the second-most yards after contact per attempt, and the highest missed tackle rate.

Jaylen Waddle Note
Jaylen Waddle photo 48. Jaylen Waddle WR - DEN (at LAC)
Bo Nix and suspect play-calling have capsized this offense in most weeks so far. Jaylen Waddle is the WR34 in fantasy points per game. Waddle has a 19.3% target share, 1.70 YPRR, two red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 28.2% first-read share. It has been tough when you can see Waddle getting open on film, but he can't toss the ball to himself. If Bo Nix can get himself together this week, Waddle could have a nice game, but that's a huge question mark. The Chargers have allowed the seventh-most yards per target and the fifth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

J.K. Dobbins Note
J.K. Dobbins photo 49. J.K. Dobbins RB - DEN (at LAC)
Last week, J.K. Dobbins had his usual early down only role with a 31.3% snap share, 50% of the rushing attempts, and a 15.9% route share. Dobbins finished with 13 touches and 52 total yards, which is about the same workload that he has had in most weeks. The problem for Dobbins, outside of the Denver defense taking a huge step back this season, is that he doesn't resemble the same back that we have loved over the last few years. Dobbins has only a 4.9% explosive run rate and 11% missed tackle rate. Those are a shell of his former rushing metrics. Unfortunately for Dobbins, the Bolts have had a formidable run defense this year, and he's a sit this week. The Bolts have allowed the 11th-lowest explosive run rate, the fifth-lowest rushing success rate, and they have the sixth-best stuff rate.

Mike Evans Note
Mike Evans photo 50. Mike Evans WR - SF (at SEA)
Mike Evans is an absolute DAWG! Evans gutted it out last week with a myriad of injuries, including broken ribs. Evans grimaced and was slow to get up after every catch, but that didn't stop him. Evans is the WR24 in fantasy points per game, and he's been awesome when on the field for the 49ers. Last week, Evans had a 67.6% route share, a 26.7% target share, 3.30 YPRR, and a 31.3% first-read share. Overall, this season Evans has a 60.8% route share, a 21.2% target share (32% TPRR), 2.80 YPRR, four red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 24.7% first-read share. This week, he'll face a Seattle secondary that has utilized two high at the ninth-highest rate in the NFL (59.1%). Against two high, Evans has a 33% target-per-route run rate and 3.10 YPRR, which are absolutely elite numbers. Seattle has allowed the sixth-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers. Evans has the talent to overcome a bad matchup, though. In most leagues, I'm still starting him.

George Kittle Note
George Kittle photo 51. George Kittle TE - SF (at SEA)
Believe it or not, the 33-year-old TE coming off a torn Achilles is currently the fantasy TE1. Even though he played less than 50% of snaps in the first two weeks, the superstar TE is back to his efficient ways. With Purdy playing at an MVP level, the 49ers are firing on all cylinders. This week, they face a tough Seattle defense on the road. With how this offense has looked, and Kittle scoring four touchdowns in his last three games, he remains a top-end TE1 even in a scary matchup. I have him as my TE4 behind only Bowers and McBride this week.

Sam LaPorta Note
Sam LaPorta photo 52. Sam LaPorta TE - DET (at ARI)
LaPorta has been your classic mid-tier TE1. A well-rounded TE attached to a high-powered offense is all you can ask for in fantasy. This week, they get to look in the mirror and face another team that can air it out with zero defense. The Cardinals-Lions game should be a shootout, creating the perfect game script for a player like LaPorta. In addition, the Cardinals have been the worst at stopping the TE position, allowing the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing TEs. Coming off 13 targets for 84 yards and a score, LaPorta should follow up his TE2 performance with another top-five outing.

TreVeyon Henderson Note
TreVeyon Henderson photo 53. TreVeyon Henderson RB - NE (vs . LV)
TreVeyon Henderson will split the workload with Rhamondre Stevenson again this week. In their three games together this season, Henderson has had a 43.5% snap rate, a 42.7% rushing share, and a 31.1% route share (2.2% target share). I'd expect Henderson to help out more on early downs this week, with Stevenson taking more of the passing downs. Henderson continues to be an underwhelming pro as a rusher. Among 46 qualifying backs, he ranks 28th in explosive run rate, 33rd in yards after contact per attempt, and 32nd in missed tackle rate. He'll likely flirt with double-digit touches this week as a passable flex option. Henderson has split the red zone work with Stevenson, with both backs seeing two red zone rushing attempts this season. Las Vegas has allowed the ninth-highest explosive run rate, the second-most yards before contact per attempt, and the tenth-highest rushing success rate.

Luther Burden III Note
Luther Burden III photo 54. Luther Burden III WR - CHI (at GB)
Last week, with Tyson Bagent under center, Luther Burden was third on the team in target share (17.6%) and first-read share (17.4%). Burden finished with 63 receiving yards (2.63 YPRR) and one deep target (zero red zone targets). Overall, Burden leads the team with a 22% target share and 28.6% first-read share while logging 2.11 YPRR, six red zone targets, and a deep target. This week, Burden faces a Green Bay secondary that has the sixth-highest two-high rate in the NFL (62.1%). Over the last two weeks, against two high, Burden ranks third on the team with a 27% target-per-route run rate with 1.73 YPRR. Burden should have a solid week against a secondary that is 17th in fantasy points per opportunity against wide receivers.

Carnell Tate Note
Carnell Tate photo 55. Carnell Tate WR - TEN (vs . HOU)
After a massive Week 4 performance, Carnell Tate is the WR27 in fantasy points per game. Carnell Tate has been commanding alpha-level volume, and now we're starting to see it pay off. Among 79 qualifying receivers, Tate is seventh in target share (26.9%), 17th in YPRR (2.39), third in air-yard share (50.1%), 20th in FD/RR (0.098), and sixth in first-read share (36%). Tate has only one red zone target and three deep targets this season. Tate could be a strong WR3/flex again this week if Cam Ward can provide him catchable targets. Houston has allowed the third-most yards per target and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Alvin Kamara Note
Alvin Kamara photo 56. Alvin Kamara RB - NO (vs . MIN)
Alvin Kamara reinjured his knee last week, but he was able to finish the game. Kamara popped up on the injury report with a back issue this week. He didn't practice on Wednesday, but he had limited sessions the rest of the week. He has been listed as questionable. Kamara clearly isn't 100%, but I still expect him to lead the backfield in touches this week. Kamara has only a 4.3% explosive run rate, 1.64 yards after contact per attempt, and an 8% missed tackle rate. There's nothing good to see here. Last week, he scored two touchdowns, which powered his RB9 finish for the week as he had only 12 touches for 58 total yards. Minnesota has allowed the third-lowest rushing success rate, the tenth-fewest rushing yards over expectation, and has the third-highest stuff rate. Kamara is a touchdown-dependent flex this week with a horrible matchup.

Romeo Doubs Note
Romeo Doubs photo 57. Romeo Doubs WR - NE (vs . LV)
Romeo Doubs fulfilled all of the offseason hope and promise last week as the WR8 for the week. Last week, Doubs had a 21.6% target share, 58 receiving yards (2.07 YPRR), three red zone targets (two scores), one deep target, and a 26.3% first-read share. Since Week 2, Doubs has had a 17.8% target share with 2.78 YPRR, four red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 19.2% first-read share. We'll see if Doubs can continue the production this week, but the coverage structure works in his favor. The Raiders have the tenth-highest rate of two-high (56.2%). Since Week 2, against two-high, Doubs has a 19% target-per-route run rate (leads the team) with 4.54 YPRR (WOW!). The Raiders are a middle-of-the-road matchup for Doubs, ranking 17th in yards per target allowed to perimeter wide receivers. Doubs could have another strong week against Vegas as Drake Maye's main weapon against two-high coverage.

RJ Harvey Note
RJ Harvey photo 58. RJ Harvey RB - DEN (at LAC)
RJ Harvey has retained his passing-down role for Denver, with some early-down work sprinkled in. Harvey has a 43.3% snap rate with a 19.4% rushing share and a 42.9% route share (20.2% target share). He has averaged 10.3 touches and 60.3 total yards. Harvey hasn't been effective on early downs with zero explosive runs, 1.92 yards after contact per attempt, and only an 8% missed tackle rate. Among 29 qualifying backs, he has been awesome as a receiver, though, ranking first in target share, first in yards per route run, fifth in receiving yards, and seventh in first-read share. Harvey is flex-worthy again this week. The Bolts have allowed the 13th-most receiving fantasy points per game to running backs.

Deebo Samuel Sr. Note
Deebo Samuel Sr. photo 59. Deebo Samuel Sr. WR - SF (at SEA)
Deebo Samuel has been balling this season as the WR16 in fantasy points per game. Samuel has had some rushing production, padding his fantasy stats with seven carries and 74 yards on the ground. He has touchdowns in three of the 49ers' four games this season. Samuel has a 14.2% target share with 2.31 YPRR, five red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 15.1% first-read share. This week, he'll face a Seattle secondary that has utilized two high at the ninth-highest rate in the NFL (59.1%). Against two high, he has seen his numbers suffer this season, with Mike Evans and George Kittle leading the way against this coverage. Samuel has only a 15% TPRR and 1.11 YPRR against two high this season. With a tough matchup incoming this week, temper your expectations. Seattle has allowed the sixth-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Rome Odunze Note
Rome Odunze photo 61. Rome Odunze WR - CHI (at GB)
Last week, with Tyson Bagent chucking the rock, Rome Odunze was second on the team in target share (20.6%) and first-read share (21.7%). He finished with zero red zone targets and one deep target. Odunze led the team with 94 receiving yards (3.36 YPRR). Overall, Odunze has a 15.2% target share with 2.12 YPRR, two red zone targets, six deep targets (leads the team), and a 15.5% first-read share. This week, Odunze faces a Green Bay secondary that has the sixth-highest two-high rate in the NFL (62.1%). Over the last two weeks, against two high, Odunze has ranked second on the team with a wonderful 29% target-per-route run rate while posting 4.83 YPRR (OH BABY!). I wouldn't be surprised to see Odunze leading the way in the receiving department this week again. Green Bay is 17th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to perimeter wide receivers.

Dalton Kincaid Note
Dalton Kincaid photo 62. Dalton Kincaid TE - BUF (at LAR)
It's only been four weeks, yet it feels like a tale of two seasons for Dalton Kincaid managers. Opening the year, Kincaid had 14 targets, 12 receptions, 225 yards, and one score across two games. In his last two outings, he has totalled five targets, three receptions, and 45 yards. Even though he has been averaging more snaps than previous sessions, he is a very volatile TE1. Thankfully, the Bills-Rams game is projected to have the most points scored this week. We will likely see some Josh Allen heroics in what could become a cinematic duel between two elite QBs. That's a game script you want every piece of. It may be a tough pill to swallow, but I think you have to roll out Kincaid for at least one more week before giving up on him.

MarShawn Lloyd Note
MarShawn Lloyd photo 63. MarShawn Lloyd RB - GB (vs . CHI)
With Chris Brooks out this week, MarShawn Lloyd becomes an interesting desperation flex play. Last week, he led the backfield with a 54.5% snap share and 46.7% route share (16.7% target share). Yes, he was second among the group with a 28% rushing share, but that could change this week. Lloyd's 1.40 yards after contact per attempt isn't great, but he has only seen 1.30 yards before contact per attempt behind Green Bay's horrendous offensive line. Lloyd also has a solid 20% missed tackle rate, which is quite strong, and he posted 2.57 YPRR last week with that season-high 46.7% route share. Lloyd could surprise this week. The Bears' run defense has been awful, allowing the eighth-highest explosive run rate, the highest rushing success rate, and the third-most yards before contact per attempt.

Tyler Warren Note
Tyler Warren photo 64. Tyler Warren TE - IND (at PIT)
The Colts' passing attack has been one of the weirdest in the league this season. With injuries and mediocre QB play, it's a miracle that Warren is the TE11 this season. Despite having the second most receptions at the position, Warren is 22nd in yards. Being saved by a few touchdowns and volume, it's hard to trust the second-year TE. This week, they face the Steelers, who are average at the TE position. Based solely on usage, I have him as my TE10 for this week.

Josh Downs Note
Josh Downs photo 65. Josh Downs WR - IND (at PIT)
Josh Downs had a quiet week last week with a good matchup, but I think the blame should be laid at the Achilles of Daniel Jones and not placed upon Downs. Jones has been quite limited as a passer so far this season. Downs is the WR48 in fantasy points per game with two games with at least 12.7 PRR points this season. Downs has a 20.5% target share, 1.67 YPRR, four red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 26.8% first-read share (leads the team). Among 45 qualifying receivers, Downs leads all of them in separation and ranks sixth in route win rate. We'll see if he can bounce back this week, but the matchup isn't great. Pittsburgh has allowed the 14th-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

Brian Robinson Jr. Note
Brian Robinson Jr. photo 66. Brian Robinson Jr. RB - ATL (vs . BAL)
Brian Robinson Jr. has essentially been Blake Corum of yesteryear over the last two weeks as the Falcons have leaned heavily on their ground game while playing with leads. Over the last two weeks, Robinson has finished as the RB19 and RB8 in weekly scoring while averaging 12.5 touches and 58.5 total yards with four touchdowns. Robinson has been quite good with the work he has received. Among 46 qualifying rushers, he is fifth in yards after contact per attempt and 16th in missed tackle rate. Robinson is a viable flex again this week, but he'll need another touchdown to pay off for fantasy purposes, with a tougher matchup likely. Baltimore has allowed the sixth-lowest rushing success rate, the seventh-fewest yards after contact per attempt, and the ninth-lowest missed tackle rate.

Denzel Boston Note
Denzel Boston photo 67. Denzel Boston WR - CLE (at NYJ)
Denzel Boston is the WR20 in fantasy points per game, while commanding an 18.3% target share with 2.39 YPRR, three red zone targets, seven deep targets, and a 22.5% first-read share (second on the team). Boston has excelled so far this season, ranking 17th in separation and YPRR while sitting at seventh in route win rate among 77 qualifying receivers. This week, he'll tangle with a Jets' secondary that has the fifth-highest two-high rate (62.2%). Against two-high, Boston leads the team with a 21% target-per-route run rate against two-high while logging 4.47 YPRR. This is a tougher matchup for Boston, but I think he can overcome it. The Jets have allowed the tenth-fewest yards per target to perimeter wide receivers while ranking 15th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to the position.

Jordan Addison Note
Jordan Addison photo 68. Jordan Addison WR - MIN (at NO)
Jordan Addison was a surprise addition to the injury report with a hamstring injury. He opened the week with a DNP, but he had limited practices the rest of the week. He has been listed as questionable. In Weeks 1-2 with Justin Jefferson playing a full-time role, Addison had a 15.9% target share with 0.47 YPRR, one red zone target, and a 16.7% first-read share. He was the WR108 and WR78 in weekly scoring. The Saints are 16th in yards per target allowed to perimeter wide receivers while also giving up the sixth-most fantasy points per opportunity. Addison could be the third option in a wobbly passing attack led by Kyler Murray. He's a middling flex.

Isaiah Likely Note
Isaiah Likely photo 69. Isaiah Likely TE - NYG (at WAS)
Isaiah Likely has been crushing it as the TE6 in fantasy points per game. Likely has an 81.1% route share, a 30.4% target share, 1.84 YPRR, six red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 34.1% first-read share. He has been amazing. He should have another outstanding week against a defense that has allowed the third-most yards per target and the most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Malik Washington Note
Malik Washington photo 70. Malik Washington WR - MIA (vs . CIN)
Malik Washington is the WR45, but over the last two games he has been the WR39 and WR35 in weekly scoring with volume alone. If you toss a touchdown on top of either of those stat lines, Washington would have been a WR2 in weekly fantasy scoring. Washington has a 27.2% target share, 1.99 YPRR, one red zone target, six deep targets, and a 28.3% first-read share. Washington is a volume-fueled flex again this week. The matchup isn't great, but I expect him to see a heavy target load, and if he finally gets in the endzone, he'll pay off for fantasy this week. Cincy has allowed the seventh-fewest yards per target and the ninth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to receivers.

Blake Corum Note
Blake Corum photo 72. Blake Corum RB - LAR (vs . BUF)
Blake Corum's role in the Rams' offense has evaporated. His snap share has dropped in each of the last three games, from 45.2% to 15.5% last week. Last week, he finished with only six touches and 21 total yards. Corum still doesn't have a red zone carry this season. He isn't on the flex radar until his role changes. Kyren Williams looks like a bell cow again.

Emeka Egbuka Note
Emeka Egbuka photo 73. Emeka Egbuka WR - TB (at DAL)
In Jalon Daniels' first start, Emeka Egbuka found himself as the third option in the passing attack, finishing third on the team with a 14.8% target share and 19% first-read share behind Cade Otton and Chris Godwin. Egbuka finished with only 13 receiving yards and one red zone target. It was a disappointing showing for Egbuka. With Daniels still finding his footing, I'd love to craft a narrative that Egbuka immediately bounces back; I don't know if that happens, but it's possible. Dallas has been tougher against perimeter wide receivers, though, allowing the eighth-fewest yards per target and the 11th-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to the position. Egbuka is just a risky flex with upside this week.

KC Concepcion Jr. Note
KC Concepcion Jr. photo 74. KC Concepcion Jr. WR - CLE (at NYJ)
KC Concepcion leads the team with a 22.6% target share and 30% first-read share despite being the WR65 in fantasy points per game. Concepcion has been the higher-volume, low aDOT (4.96) receiver for Todd Monken's offense. He has 1.24 YPRR, three red zone targets (tied for the team lead), and two deep targets. The Jets have the fifth-highest two-high rate (62.2%). Against two-high, Concepcion is fourth on the team in target per route run rate (17%) and has only 0.67 YPRR. This isn't a great matchup for Concepcion, as the Jets have limited slot receivers to the tenth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity while ranking 15th in yards per target allowed to the position.

Keon Coleman Note
Keon Coleman photo 75. Keon Coleman WR - BUF (at LAR)
Keon Coleman has functioned as Buffalo's Rashod Bateman. He is essentially DJ Moore's handcuff. If Moore misses this week, Coleman could see a ton of work, but he'd also probably have to deal with a shadow from Trent McDuffie. That's not a battle that I'd expect Coleman to win. McDuffie has followed Malik Nabers and Dontayvion Wicks on 51.6-75% of their routes. Neither receiver surpassed one reception and seven yards in McDuffie's coverage. If Moore does play, Coleman could eat, though. If Moore plays and is the decoy shadow target for McDuffie, that should free up Coleman. In Weeks 1 & 3, with Moore playing a full-time role, Coleman has had only a 5.5% target share and 7.4% first-read share. He wasn't a big part of the offense at all. In Weeks 2 & 4, with Moore dinged up, Coleman had a 20.3% target share with 3.58 YPRR, two red zone targets, one deep target, and a 29.7% first-read share. Coleman has a WIDE range of outcomes this week depending on the status of Moore and the corner matchups with the Rams. The Rams have held perimeter wide receivers to the eighth-fewest receiving fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest yards per target. I could see Coleman putting up a WR2 production line this week or being a dud.

Khalil Shakir Note
Khalil Shakir photo 76. Khalil Shakir WR - BUF (at LAR)
Khalil Shakir is the WR64 in fantasy points per game. His best performance of the season came last week as the WR24 in weekly scoring. Overall, Shakir has a 19.3% target share with 1.98 YPRR (65.4% route share), five red zone targets (zero scores), two deep targets, and a 23.4% first-read share. Shakir is flex-worthy again this week. The Rams are tied for the most receiving touchdowns allowed to slot receivers while also surrendering the seventh-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position.

Harold Fannin Jr. Note
Harold Fannin Jr. photo 77. Harold Fannin Jr. TE - CLE (at NYJ)
Harold Fannin is the TE8 in fantasy points per game with at least 10.4 PPR points in each of his last three games. Fannin has a 78.4% route share with a 20% target share, 1.40 YPRR, three red zone targets, one deep target, and a 16.3% first-read share. Temper your expectations for Fannin this week. The Jets have limited tight ends to the 11th-fewest yards per target and the seventh-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Devaughn Vele Note
Devaughn Vele photo 78. Devaughn Vele WR - NO (vs . MIN)
Devaughn Vele has been a beneficiary of the Saints' pass-happy offense as the WR20 in fantasy points per game. Vele's per-route numbers are nothing impressive. He has a 17.2% target share, 1.30 YPRR, and a 22% first-read share, but the passing volume has helped him have some big box scores along with his six red zone targets and six deep targets. The high cholesterol usage has been wonderful, as he has two scores this season. This week, he faces a Minny defense that has utilized two high with 65.6% of their defensive snaps (fourth-highest rate). Against two-high, Vele has seen his target-per-route run rate drop to 16% with a dip to 1.03 YPRR. These numbers aren't great, and the matchup is tougher, but he could still see enough volume to have a nice flex day. Minnesota has allowed the eighth-fewest yards per target and the sixth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

Tre' Harris Note
Tre' Harris photo 79. Tre' Harris WR - LAC (vs . DEN)
Tre Harris could be the only healthy receiver left standing this week among the Chargers' usual starting trio. Harris disappeared into the ether in Week 2 with what looks like an outlier quiet week in this passing attack. If we look at his three other games this season, he has been highly targeted in this broken passing attack. In those three other games, Harris has had a 19.4% target share with 1.93 YPRR, three red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 23.1% first-read share. This is a tough matchup for Harris, but Denver's coverage structure is in his favor. In three of Denver's four games, they have utilized single high with 51.7-55.9% of their defensive snaps. Against single high, Harris has a STRONG 24% target per route run rate and 2.88 YPRR this season. Harris could see enough volume this week to be flex-viable, and he has the talent to possibly overcome a rough matchup, but with how bad the Bolts offense has been, he's a risky option. There's no denying that. Denver has allowed the seventh-fewest yards per target and the sixth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers. The silver lining for Harris is that Patrick Surtain and Riley Moss (Denver's two starting outside corners) are out this week.

Woody Marks Note
Woody Marks photo 80. Woody Marks RB - HOU (at TEN)
Woody Marks continues to cut into David Montgomery's workload. Since Week 2, Marks has had a 42.2% snap rate, a 32.8% rushing share, a 35.2% route share, and a 7% target share. He has averaged 8.3 touches and 26 total yards. Marks has only 1.64 yards after contact per attempt, but he has logged a strong 25% missed tackle rate despite his offensive line only generating 1.46 yards before contact per attempt for him. Marks remains a touchdown-or-bust flex this week. Tennessee has allowed the eighth-lowest explosive run rate and yards per carry, the sixth-fewest yards before contact per attempt, and the 13th-lowest EPA per rush.

Dontayvion Wicks Note
Dontayvion Wicks photo 81. Dontayvion Wicks WR - PHI (at JAC)
Last week, with DeVonta Smith sidelined, Dontayvion Wicks was third among Philly's starting wide receivers in target share with 14.8%, as he also tied for second among the group with a 22.2% first-read share. Wicks finished with 18 receiving yards (0.58 YPRR), zero red zone targets, and one deep target. He did have to deal with Trent McDuffie last week, with 51.6% of his routes. Against McDuffie, he had only one target, which he secured for seven receiving yards. In the previous three games, Wicks was involved with a 17% target share, 2.29 YPRR, and a 23.2% first-read share. This could be a nice bounceback spot for Wicks. In three of the Jags' four games, they have utilized two high with 56.7-56.9% of their defensive snaps. Against two-high, Wicks has an 18% target-per-route run rate and 2.31 YPRR. The Jags have only given up one receiving touchdown to perimeter wide receivers while surrendering the tenth-most yards per target to the position.

Colston Loveland Note
Colston Loveland photo 82. Colston Loveland TE - CHI (at GB)
Well, this looked like what we thought we were getting in 2026 with Colston Loveland last week. While he didn't post a massive stat line, Loveland had a 66.7% route share and 91% snap share as he led the team with a 26.5% target share and 34.8% first-read share. Loveland had three red zone targets, 57 receiving yards, and 2.38 YPRR. This week, Loveland faces a Green Bay secondary that has the sixth-highest two-high rate in the NFL (62.1%). Over the last two weeks, against two high, Loveland has had an elite 35% target-per-route run rate and a strong 1.88 YPRR. Green Bay is 16th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to tight ends. The last time Loveland faced the Packers, he secured eight of his 15 targets with 137 receiving yards. I'm not saying that he'll post that type of stat line, but he could easily lead the team in targets again this week with Bagent slinging it around the yard.

Jakobi Meyers Note
Jakobi Meyers photo 83. Jakobi Meyers WR - JAC (vs . PHI)
Jakobi Meyers is the WR37 in fantasy points per game with two outings with 12 or more PPR points. Meyers has a 14.4% target share, 1.85 YPRR, three red zone targets, one deep target, and a 17.7% first-read share. Trevor Lawrence has leaned on Meyers more over the last two games, as he has had a 23.1% target share, 2.16 YPRR, and a 29.3% first-read share during that span. Meyers is a viable flex this week with the increased usage. Philly ranks 17th in yards per target and 19th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to perimeter wide receivers.

Juwan Johnson Note
Juwan Johnson photo 84. Juwan Johnson TE - NO (vs . MIN)
Juwan Johnson has been a steady fantasy producer with at least 10.8 PPR points in each game as the TE4 in fantasy points per game. Johnson has a 14.4% target share with 1.69 YPRR, seven red zone targets (WOW!), one deep target, and an 18.7% first-read share. The Vikings have faced the eighth-fewest tight end targets this season, but they have surrendered the tenth-highest yards per target to the position. Johnson should flirt with strong TE1 production again this week.

Tre Tucker Note
Tre Tucker photo 85. Tre Tucker WR - LV (at NE)
Outside of his outlier performance in Week 2, Tre Tucker hasn't surpassed 44 receiving yards in any game this season. Taking Week 2 out of the sample, Tucker has a 13.9% target share with 1.25 YPRR, one red zone target, four deep targets, and a 19.4% first-read share. Tucker is a deep league flex only against a secondary that has held perimeter wide receivers to the 13th-fewest yards per target, but also allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per opportunity to the position.

Courtland Sutton Note
Courtland Sutton photo 86. Courtland Sutton WR - DEN (at LAC)
As bad as things have been for Jaylen Waddle, they have been even worse for Courtland Sutton as the WR89 in fantasy points per game. Sutton has only a 14.8% target share, 0.77 YPRR, five red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 23.9% first-read share. Only 55% of his targets have been catchable. Despite a wonderful matchup this week, Sutton is a desperation flex only. The Chargers have allowed the seventh-most yards per target and the fifth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Will Shipley Note
Will Shipley photo 88. Will Shipley RB - PHI (at JAC)
With Tank Bigsby on the IR and Saquon Barkley injured, Will Shipley will take over as Philly's lead back until Barkley returns. Shipley hasn't been impressive when on the field during his NFL tenure. Since 2024, with his 59 NFL carries, Shipley has only a 1.8% explosive run rate, 1.63 yards after contact per attempt, and an 8% missed tackle rate. None of that is good or encouraging. Shipley should still see 12-15 touches for the Eagles, so there is some fantasy value here based on volume alone. Shipley is a volume-based flex play this week with a horrible matchup. The Jags have allowed the third-lowest explosive run rate, the ninth-lowest rushing success rate, the lowest missed tackle rate, and the fewest yards after contact per attempt.
Mark Andrews Note
Mark Andrews photo 89. Mark Andrews TE - BAL (at ATL)
Mark Andrews is the TE18 in fantasy points per game, but he finally finished as a TE1 last week (TE8). His per-route data has been awesome, though. Yes, among 46 qualifying tight ends, he ranks 16th in route share (67.5%), but also in that same sample he is fourth in target share (22.9%), 12th in YPRR (1.80), and fifth in first-read share (26%). Andrews has three red zone targets and one deep target. Andrews could easily be a TE1 again this week. Atlanta is 14th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to tight ends, while surrendering 15.6 PPR points to Pat Freiermuth, 18.3 PPR points to Darren Waller, and 11.9 PPR points to Juwan Johnson this season. Those three tight ends combined for three scores, and Johnson could have easily had a score at the end of the game last week, but the target went to Devaughn Vele.

Tyler Allgeier Note
Tyler Allgeier photo 90. Tyler Allgeier RB - ARI (vs . DET)
Tyler Allgeier was back in the mix last week with a 54% snap rate, a 30.8% rushing share, a 33.3% route share, and a 5.7% target share. Allgeier finished with ten touches and 49 total yards (one score). I expect Allgeier to flirt with 10-12 touches again this week as a solid flex play. Among 45 qualifying rushers, Allgeier ranks tenth in yards after contact per attempt and 32nd in missed tackle rate. If he can get into the end zone again this week, he'll pay off for fantasy managers. He faces a run defense that has allowed the highest explosive run rate, the 12th-highest rushing success rate, and the second-most yards before contact per attempt.

Mike Gesicki Note
Mike Gesicki photo 92. Mike Gesicki TE - CIN (at MIA)
Mike Gesicki is the TE13 in fantasy points per game with at least 12.7 PPR points in three of four games. He could see an elevated role this week with the state of the Cincy depth chart and injuries. If we take out his dude in Week 2, Gesicki has scored a touchdown in every other game. Excluding the stinker in Week 2, Gesicki has had a 54.8% route share, an 11.9% target share, a 20% target-per-route run rate, 2.09 YPRR, and a 12.6% first-read share. He has three red zone targets and two deep targets. Gesicki should shred the Miami secondary this week. The Dolphins have allowed the most yards per target and the fifth-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Roman Wilson Note
Roman Wilson photo 93. Roman Wilson WR - PIT (vs . IND)
Roman Wilson has popped up out of nowhere to finish as the WR24 and WR18 in weekly scoring over the last two weeks. Since Week 3, Wilson has had a 17.6% target share, 3.83 YPRR, two red zone targets, five deep targets, and a 20.8% first-read share. This week, he could keep the hot streak rolling with a matchup against Indy's secondary that has allowed the second-most yards per target and the eighth-most fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

Dohnte Meyers Note
Dohnte Meyers photo 95. Dohnte Meyers WR - CIN (at MIA)
I'm approaching this week now as if Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins will play, but this could easily flip Sunday morning with both of these receivers missing this week. Cincy is staying quiet until the last second with their receivers' game statuses. Assuming Chase and Higgins do play, Meyers is still a flex possibility, but he's definitely pushed down the rankings. Meyers would be starting opposite Chase and Higgins, as he has been since the team lost Andrei Iosivas. In Week 4, Meyers had a 55.4% snap share, 60% route share, a 13.5% target share, 29 receiving yards (1.21 YPRR), and an 11.5% first-read share. If Higgins and/or Chase miss this game, he'll see an elevated role. Last week, Meyers had an 89.7% route share, a 16.7% target share, 82 receiving yards (1.58 YPRR), and a 14.3% first-read share. Miami ranks 15th in yards per target allowed to receivers this season.

Hunter Henry Note
Hunter Henry photo 96. Hunter Henry TE - NE (vs . LV)
Hunter Henry is the TE29 in fantasy points per game. His best finish in weekly scoring was last week as the TE16 in fantasy. Since Week 2, Henry has had a 12.2% target share with 1.47 YPRR, one red zone target, one deep target, and a 17.3% first-read share. Henry is a viable streaming option this week. Vegas has been allowing a ton of production to tight ends, giving up the fifth-most receiving fantasy points per game and the second-most receiving touchdowns (tied) to the position.

Kenyon Sadiq Note
Kenyon Sadiq photo 97. Kenyon Sadiq TE - NYJ (vs . CLE)
With Mason Taylor back this week, Kenyon Sadiq is likely tossed right back into a frustrating tight end committee situation. In Weeks 1-2, with Taylor active, Sadiq had only a 39.3% snap share, 41.3% route share, and 7.7% target share. Maybe he sees more work this week than that with Adonai Mitchell still sidelined, but it's not a certainty. The Browns are 15th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to tight ends while also giving up the 13th-fewest yards per target to the position. Sadiq is a must-sit this week with a middle-of-the-road matchup and questionable usage for Week 5.

Mike Washington Jr. Note
Mike Washington Jr. photo 98. Mike Washington Jr. RB - LV (at NE)
Mike Washington could draw the start if Ashton Jeanty can't go this week. If Jeanty is active, Washington still holds some flex value, as he could see double-digit touches to spell Jeanty more. If Jeanty is out, Washington would be a strong RB2 this week. He has averaged 6.3 touches and 29.7 total yards per game with two outings with at least 40 rushing yards. Among 47 qualifying backs, Washington is 16th in explosive run rate and second in yards after contact per attempt. Washington has a softer matchup this week. New England's run defense has allowed the 14th-highest rushing success rate, the 13th-most yards before contact per attempt, and the fourth-most yards after contact per attempt.

T.J. Hockenson Note
T.J. Hockenson photo 99. T.J. Hockenson TE - MIN (at NO)
TJ Hockenson is the TE11 in fantasy points per game. Hockenson has a 22.7% target share with 2.14 YPRR, four red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 23.5% first-read share. All of his per-route numbers and fantasy production are being inflated by his massive outing in Week 4, but he was also the TE9 in weekly scoring in Week 1 with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison active. Hockenson could easily be the number two target in the Minny passing attack this week with a wonderful matchup and return TE1 production. New Orleans has allowed the fifth-most yards per target and the 12th-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Makai Lemon Note
Makai Lemon photo 100. Makai Lemon WR - PHI (at JAC)
Last week, without DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon had an 18.5% target share with 27 receiving yards (1.04 YPRR) and a 22.2% first-read share. Lemon is the WR94 in fantasy points per game without more than six PPR points in any game this season. Overall, Lemon has a 12.2% target share with 0.59 YPRR, zero red zone targets, one deep target, and a 14.9% first-read share. This could be a game where he offers flex value, but in most leagues I'm sitting him. In three of the Jags' four games, they have utilized two high with 56.7-56.9% of their defensive snaps. Against two-high, Lemon has had only a 12% target-per-route run rate and 0.25 YPRR. The Jags have allowed the tenth-most yards per target to slot receivers, but they haven't yielded a receiving touchdown to the position yet.

Alvin Kamara is banged up. He reinjured his knee last week, but he was able to finish the game. He also popped up on the injury report with a new back issue this week. Kamara had a DNP to open the week. I'll update Kendre Miller's outlook on Friday. He could be the Saints' lead back this week.

Kalif Raymond Note
Kalif Raymond photo 103. Kalif Raymond WR - CHI (at GB)
Last week, Kalif Raymond's role shrank as his route share dipped to 44.4% and his snap share fell to 47.2%. The offense looked like what we thought we were getting in the summer with Colston Loveland, Luther Burden, and Rome Odunze leading the way. With Tyson Bagent under center again this week, I can't confidently say that Raymond's role will bounce back, so I have to declare him a sit this week. If he bounces back and is an integral part of the passing attack this week, I won't be surprised, but a sub-50 % snap share last week with a 5.9% target share has me spooked that he also could easily give you a zero in your fantasy lineup in Week 5.

Wan'Dale Robinson is the WR39 in fantasy points per game. He has commanded a 19.3% target share with 1.21 YPRR, a 24% first-read share, four red zone targets, and two deep targets. Robinson has at least 11 PPR points in each of his last two games. He's a viable PPR flex again this week. Houston has allowed the 13th-fewest yards per target to slot receivers while ranking 16th in fantasy points per opportunity allowed to the position.

I don't care that Brian Thomas Jr. caught a touchdown in Week 4. He has been phased out of the offense with a 43.8% and 63% route share over the last two games. In those games, Thomas Jr. had target shares of 3.4% and 8.7% with first-read shares of 5% and 9.5%. Sit Thomas Jr. until his usage improves.

Last week, in Jalon Daniels first start, Chris Godwin had a team-leading 25.9% target share with a 23.8% first-read share (second on the team). Now, Godwin did nothing with the volume, with only 31 receiving yards and 1.03 YPRR, but it's notable that he was the team leader in target share. Last week, Godwin didn't see a red zone or deep target. Godwin could see his best game of the season against Dallas, though, if this usage holds for Week 5. Dallas has been ripped to shreds by slot receivers, giving up the highest yards per target and the fourth-most fantasy points per opportunity.

Jake Ferguson Note
Jake Ferguson photo 108. Jake Ferguson TE - DAL (vs . TB)
Jake Ferguson is the TE22 in fantasy points per game with only one huge game this season. Ferguson has only one outing with more than ten PPR points this season. Ferguson has only a 10% target share with 0.76 YPRR, four red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 9.6% first-read share. Outside of his touchdown equity in this Dallas passing attack, he has been a forgotten player. Maybe that changes this week, but I'm not holding my breath. The matchup is nice for Ferguson, so he's on the streaming radar. He's a touchdown-or-bust option, though. Tampa Bay has allowed the ninth-most yards per target and the tenth-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Strange has a 17.3% target share with 2.04 YPRR, two red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 19% first-read share. I expect this to be a quieter week for Strange against a defense that has allowed the 12th-fewest yards per target and the sixth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.

Dalton Schultz Note
Dalton Schultz photo 111. Dalton Schultz TE - HOU (at TEN)
Dalton Schultz has seen his route share decline weekly. In Week 1, he was rocking a 73.8% route share, but last week he was down to 60%. Does it make any sense? Nope, but hey, it's the Texans, and none of their player usage makes any sense. Schultz has an 18.4% target share with 1.83 YPRR, two red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 19.4% first-read share. He has been the consistent WR2 for the offense despite his declining playing time. Schultz is a viable streaming tight end option. Tennessee's season-long stats are good against tight ends, but they haven't really been tested with injuries and bad quarterback play until last week. Mark Andrews and Matthew Hibner secured seven of their eight targets last week with 61 receiving yards and a score. Schultz could produce low-end TE1 numbers in Week 5.

Chris Bell Note
Chris Bell photo 112. Chris Bell WR - MIA (vs . CIN)
Last week, Chris Bell was so close to a big game, but he stepped out of bounds, and a massive play was called back. Don't let his quiet box score overshadow the fact that his route share was up to 80% last week. Bell also had a 17.6% target share and 16.7% first-read share. With his 93.8% snap rate on the perimeter last week, though I'm worried he sees a ton of DJ Turner this week, so I'm sitting him. Turner has followed DK Metcalf, Xavier Hutchinson, Emeka Egbuka, and Parker Washington on 52.9-77.1% of their routes this season. Only one of those receivers surpassed 31 receiving yards in Turner's coverage. Only Metcalf scored a touchdown because another Bengal ran into Turner. Sit Bell this week, but hopefully brighter days are ahead.

Freiermuth has a 12.3% target share with 1.16 YPRR, three red zone targets, two deep targets, and a 12.2% first-read share. Freiermuth is only a low-end streaming option this week. Keenan Allen missed last week's game with a groin injury. This week, he had limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to a full practice on Friday. He has been listed as questionable. Allen is the WR44 in fantasy points per game with one top-24 weekly finish this season (WR20). Allen has a 20.4% target share with 1.33 YPRR, three red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 26% first-read share. Daniel Jones' level of play is a big limiting factor for the Indy passing attack, and I don't see that changing this week. Despite that, Allen is a viable flex play this week as Pittsburgh has allowed the fourth-most yards per target and the sixth-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Isaac TeSlaa Note
Isaac TeSlaa photo 120. Isaac TeSlaa WR - DET (at ARI)
Isaac TeSlaa is a solid deep league flex this week. Last week, he finished with a season-high 95 receiving yards while seeing an 11.5% target share with one red zone target, two deep targets, and a 10.3% first-read share. The market share marks aren't amazing, but the matchup is wonderful, and the coverage structure is in his favor. Arizona has utilized two-high at the second-highest rate in the NFL (73.2%). Against two-high, TeSlaa has seen his target-per-route run rate increase from 8% to 15% and his YPRR jump from 0.48 to 2.52. Arizona has allowed the most yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Otton was only the TE24 for the week despite the strong usage. He finished with 37 receiving yards, 1.42 YPRR, and zero red zone and deep targets. If Otton sees this type of market share in Week 5, he'll be a strong streaming option. Dallas has allowed the eighth-most yards per target and the third-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends. We have seen random big games from Otton in the past, and that could happen again this week.

Kyle Pitts Sr. photo 129. Kyle Pitts Sr. TE - ATL (vs . BAL)
Kyle Pitts is the TE51 in fantasy points per game, and that's after coming off his best game of the season, which isn't saying much. Pitts has seen below a 50% route share in two of four games this season (38.1% last week) while failing to eclipse a 15% target share or 17% first-read share in any game. With this type of minuscule usage, it's impossible to plug him into a fantasy lineup.

With Brock Bowers back in the lineup over the last two games, Michael Mayer has been the TE13 and TE7 in weekly scoring. During that short span, Mayer has had a 14.1% target share, 1.70 YPRR, one red zone target, zero deep targets, and a 12.2% first-read share. Mayer isn't on my streaming radar this week against a defense that has held tight ends to the sixth-fewest yards per target and the second-fewest fantasy points per opportunity.

Terry McLaurin photo 135. Terry McLaurin WR - WAS (vs . NYG)
Terry McLaurin will be a game-time decision this week. He is still dealing with a hamstring issue. He didn't practice until Friday of this week, when he had a limited practice. We'll see if he's able to play this week. The good thing is that this is an early game, so we will have clarity about his status instead of this being a headache into the afternoon on Sunday. McLaurin is the WR41 in fantasy points per game with one top-20 weekly finish (WR15). McLaurin has a 22% target share with 1.41 YPRR, two red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 29.4% first-read share. If he plays, he'll be a strong WR2/3. New York has allowed the fifth-most receiving fantasy points per game and the 13th-most fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.

Darius Cooper photo 138. Darius Cooper WR - PHI (at JAC)
Last week, Darius Cooper finished as the WR13 for the week as he secured two touchdowns. Cooper had a 25.9% target share with 33 receiving yards (1.18 YPRR) and a 27.8% first-read share. Cooper had three red zone targets and two deep targets. Some of Cooper's high-volume usage could be related to the fact that Dontayvion Wicks was dealing with Trent McDuffie for more than half of the game. Cooper only had to deal with McDuffie for 25% of his routes. Cooper is an interesting deeper league flex this week. In three of the Jags' four games, they have utilized two-high with 56.7-56.9% of their defensive snaps. Against two-high, Cooper has had a massive 28% target-per-route run rate in his limited playing time with 1.44 YPRR. The Jags have only given up one receiving touchdown to perimeter wide receivers while surrendering the tenth-most yards per target to the position. Cooper is a desperation flex that could pay off this week.

Tee Higgins sustained groin and neck injuries last week. I fully expected Higgins to miss this week, but he had a full practice on Friday after missing practice the rest of the week. He has been listed as questionable. The Bengals didn't elevate any more receivers on Saturday, so I'm treating this week as Higgins will play now. Higgins is the WR11 in fantasy points per game, but that also is inflated by last week's monster performance with no Ja'Marr Chase. Higgins did have WR19 and WR8 weekly finishes in Weeks 2-3, so I'm not taking anything away from him this season. Higgins has a 24.8% target share with 2.95 YPRR, two red zone targets, five deep targets, and a 27% first-read share. Higgins should post another nice stat line this week. Miami has allowed the 11th-most yards per target to perimeter wide receivers this season.

Jaylin Noel Note
Jaylin Noel photo 149. Jaylin Noel WR - HOU (at TEN)
Last week was the second time that Jaylin Noel has had above a 55% snap share and route share (60.3%, 60%). Noel saw a season-high 9.7% target share and 13.6% first-read share. When he has been on the field, Noel has been productive with 2.21 YPRR and 0.083 FD/RR, but Houston refuses to utilize him in a full-time role consistently. It's infuriating for a team that has obvious needs at pass catcher outside of Nico Collins. I don't know if Houston will continue to feature him more or if he'll get shoved back into an idiotic part-time role, but if he sees targets this week, he'll produce. Tennessee has allowed the third-most yards per target and the most fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers (Noel: 73.8% slot).

DJ Moore Note
DJ Moore photo 156. DJ Moore WR - BUF (at LAR)
DJ Moore reinjured or exacerbated his shoulder injury last week. Moore's status is still up in the air for Week 5. He didn't practice this week until he got in a limited session on Saturday with a non-contact jersey on. He could easily push to play or be ruled out late. It's a coin flip. If you don't have Coleman on your bench or another Monday night option to fall back upon if he's out, you might be forced to bench him this week without the luxury to take this all the way to Monday night. In Moore's two full games played, he has had a 30.9% target share, 3.63 YPRR, two red zone targets, four deep targets, and a 33.3% first-read share. In those two games, he was the WR9 and WR30 in weekly scoring. If Moore does play, Trent McDuffie could shadow him. McDuffie has followed Malik Nabers and Dontayvion Wicks on 51.6-75% of their routes. Neither receiver surpassed one reception and seven yards in McDuffie's coverage. It's possible Buffalo runs him out there as a decoy of sorts this week to occupy McDuffie. This isn't a good matchup for Moore, even outside of the McDuffie issue. The Rams have held perimeter wide receivers to the eighth-fewest receiving fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest yards per target. Temper your expectations for Moore if he's active this week.

Ladd McConkey hasn't practiced all week as he's dealing with a foot injury. He has been listed as questionable. I think he's closer to doubtful. I don't trust the Chargers injury reports at all, as we've seen too much goofy from them over the last two seasons. Even if McConkey is active (I doubt it), I'd expect him to be a limited-snap player with a bad matchup. Even without Patrick Surtain and Riley Moss, the Denver secondary is talented, and the Chargers don't have a healthy offensive line to hold their pass rush back from Justin Herbert. Sit McConkey. Denver has allowed the seventh-fewest yards per target and the sixth-fewest fantasy points per opportunity to perimeter wide receivers.
