Week 17 Rankings

Jahmyr Gibbs Note
Jahmyr Gibbs photo 1. Jahmyr Gibbs RB - DET (at MIN)
Not many backs can finish with seven carries for two yards and still finish as the RB13 on the week. Thankfully, Gibbs is one of those backs, saving his week in the receiving game. 13 targets, 10 receptions, 66 yards, and a score made up for being shut down on the ground. With their playoff chances on life-support, these next two games are must-wins. In these situations, Dan Campbell isn't scared to lean on his stars. This week, they take on the Vikings, who have been hovering around league average against fantasy RBs. It's not the best matchup, but expect Gibbs to get plenty of touches to close out the fantasy season.

Christian McCaffrey Note
Christian McCaffrey photo 2. Christian McCaffrey RB - SF (vs . CHI)
On the season, CMC has only four weeks outside the top 10 backs and two outside the top 15. This is one of those memorable fantasy seasons for the veteran back and is likely rostered in most championship matchups. This week, they take on the feisty Bears, who are coming off an electric win over the Packers last Saturday. The Bears have been susceptible to fantasy RBs, and CMC has eight touchdowns in his last five games. Keep riding the superstar to fantasy glory this season.

Bijan Robinson Note
Bijan Robinson photo 3. Bijan Robinson RB - ATL (vs . LAR)
It may not be the elite fantasy season we had hoped for from the third year back, but there have been plenty of glimpses that an incredible season may only be a matter of time. Over his last six games, he has four games over 25 Half PPR points. Arguably, what is most impressive is how well-rounded his production has been. With 70-plus rushing yards in each of his last seven games, he also has two consecutive games with over 80 receiving yards. Even though they face a very tough Rams run defense, this offense runs through the RB, and he should see plenty of opportunities to have another good fantasy week.

James Cook III Note
James Cook III photo 4. James Cook III RB - BUF (vs . PHI)
All season, DeVon Achane was crowned the most underrated RB1. That still may be true, but James Cook is giving him a run for his money. With 14 touchdowns on the season, and five in his last two games, Cook is getting hot at the right time for fantasy championships. Over his last six weeks, he has five games inside the top 10 at the position and now faces a surprisingly vulnerable Eagles defense. The Eagles are allowing the seventh most fantasy points to the RB position on the season. Most notably, they are allowing the sixth most fantasy points to RBs in the red zone. With 80-plus rushing yards in all of his last five games, with four topping 100 yards, he is the perfect mix of floor and ceiling for your fantasy championship match.

Saquon Barkley Note
Saquon Barkley photo 5. Saquon Barkley RB - PHI (at BUF)
If you managed to hang onto your fantasy season with Barkley, he is finally making his draft price worth it. With three straight games of top 10 finishes at the position, he is finally helping your fantasy team when you need it most. Even with minimal receiving work over the last three games, he has had at least 20 rush attempts and a score in each contest. To make matters even better, they face the Bills' Swiss cheese run defense in Week 17. Averaging the sixth most fantasy points to fantasy RBs, Barkley should keep his hot streak alive to close out the season.
Jonathan Taylor Note
Jonathan Taylor photo 6. Jonathan Taylor RB - IND (vs . JAC)
It's a tale of two seasons for JT and the Colts. After running pure before their bye week, JT has been the RB19. Unfortunately, there is no reason for that to change in the last week of the fantasy season. Especially against a Jaguars team that has become elite against the run, averaging the fourth fewest rushing yards to the position since Week 10. Taylor can always spring a big play, but he is a firm RB2 in a tough matchup in Championship Week.
Puka Nacua Note
Puka Nacua photo 7. Puka Nacua WR - LAR (at ATL)
The math is simple: this season, Puka and Davante Adams have been the best receiver tandem in the league. Plus, Matthew Stafford is having an MVP-worthy season. As a result, if one of these two misses time, the other should explode. With Adams missing last week with a hamstring injury, Puka popped for 225 yards and two scores in their overtime loss. Adams' availability is still up in the air; however, Puka is the WR1 regardless of his availability. However, if he does miss, we could see another championship-worthy performance in the last game of the fantasy season.

Ashton Jeanty Note
Ashton Jeanty photo 8. Ashton Jeanty RB - LV (vs . NYG)
This is why you start your stars. It's not always pretty, but when you are a premier talent, any matchup can turn into a good one. After failing to have 50 scrimmage yards in back-to-back weeks, Jeanty was the RB1 against the Texans in your fantasy semi-finals. Rushing 24 times for 128 yards and a score, to go along with his 60-yard receiving touchdown, Jeanty came through against arguably the best defense in the league. This week, he gets the Giants, who have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to the RB position since Week 10. If you made it through the season, Jeanty could carry your team to a championship this week.

Ja'Marr Chase Note
Ja'Marr Chase photo 9. Ja'Marr Chase WR - CIN (vs . ARI)
For the fifth consecutive year, Chase has been voted for the Pro Bowl. With how the Bengals' season has gone, this is one of the few accomplishments he can hang his hat on. Thankfully, this team should closeout the fantasy season with a bang. The Cardinals and Bengals game could become a fantasy feast for all players. Neither defense should slow down the opposing offense, making this a prime spot for a huge game from Chase.
De'Von Achane Note
De'Von Achane photo 10. De'Von Achane RB - MIA (vs . TB)
It may not have been the explosive week we hoped for when Achane took on the Bengals last week, but he has kept his streak of top 16 finishes alive. With all 15 games inside the top 16 at the position, he has, without a doubt, been the most consistent fantasy RB on the season. Even with Quinn Ewers under center, Achane is the motor of this offense. This week, he has another great matchup against the Bucs, who are allowing the 13th most fantasy points to the RB position. In a game that is primed for plenty of touchdowns, Achane should keep his incredible season going right to the end.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Note
Jaxon Smith-Njigba photo 11. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR - SEA (at CAR)
In Week 13, we thought that JSN proved he was human. However, with three straight 90-plus yard games and three touchdowns in three weeks, I'm not convinced it wasn't just a machine malfunction. This has been a ridiculous season from the third-year WR, and he is the core of this offense. In a huge game for both the Seahawks and Panthers, JSN will be relied on heavily. Even though the Panthers are solid against WRs, this is not a matchup that should scare fantasy managers.
Chase Brown Note
Chase Brown photo 12. Chase Brown RB - CIN (vs . ARI)
Christmas came early for Brown managers, after he had a hat-trick of touchdowns in the third quarter of their game last week. Since Week 8, Brown only had one week outside of the top 19 at the position. With Joe Burrow back commanding this team, a matchup against the Cardinals is made for fantasy championships. Last week, the Cardinals allowed 168 yards and a score to Bijan Robinson. With Jacobe slinging the rock on the otherside, this is a matchup with huge fantasy point potential. You want every piece you can get in this matchup, especially a workhorse RB.
Derrick Henry Note
Derrick Henry photo 13. Derrick Henry RB - BAL (at GB)
There is something going on with Derrick Henry. Even though he looks as electric as ever, the usage between the Ravens' backs is something we haven't seen before. With multiple backs mixing in regardless of gamescript, Henry is not as surefire as he has been in the past. Still, he rushed for 128 yards and two scores against the Patriots last week. With Lamar Jackson dealing with injuries, and Snoop Huntley as the backup, it would be smart for this team to lean on their big back. However, his 37% and 44% of snaps in each of the last two weeks are slightly concerning.
Kyren Williams Note
Kyren Williams photo 14. Kyren Williams RB - LAR (at ATL)
Losing a thriller to the Seahawks last week means this Rams team will be giving it all they have right to the end of the season. This includes riding their two backs all the way to the finish line. Last week, in what may have been their biggest game of the season, Williams played 71% of snaps. This was the first time he had hit that mark since Week 6. Clearly, their most trusted guy, Williams, may see more work in these must-win games. This week's matchup is against the Falcons, who are near league average against running backs. Keep riding the lead back on an elite offense, but don't be surprised if Blake Corum steals some important carries.

Travis Etienne Jr. Note
Travis Etienne Jr. photo 15. Travis Etienne Jr. RB - JAC (at IND)
After all the shade thrown Etienne's way in the draft season, he has been one of the best RBs in fantasy. Sitting as the RB7, he has had over 12 fantasy points in all but four games this season. With Baysul Tuten recovering from a hand injury, Etienne will continue to dominate touches. This week, they face the Colts, whose defense was embarrassed by the 49ers last Monday Night. The Jaguars are rolling and should be able to have their way in this matchup. Etienne remains a RB1 to close out the season.

Javonte Williams Note
Javonte Williams photo 16. Javonte Williams RB - DAL (at WAS)
George Pickens Note
George Pickens photo 17. George Pickens WR - DAL (at WAS)
Exploding against the Chargers for seven catches, 130 yards, and a score last week, Pickens has remained one of the best draft picks of the season. In Championship Week, they get one of the best matchups you could ask for. The Commanders are allowing the second-most yards to opposing offenses, and won't have an answer for both CeeDee Lamb and Pickens. He should be locked into a good fantasy day, and there should be enough to go around for both wideouts to get home.
RJ Harvey Note
RJ Harvey photo 18. RJ Harvey RB - DEN (at KC)
CeeDee Lamb Note
CeeDee Lamb photo 19. CeeDee Lamb WR - DAL (at WAS)
CeeDee Lamb against the Commanders in Championship Week sounds like a recipe for success. After being held to six receptions for only 51 yards against the Chargers, the entire Cowboys offense should bounce back in this matchup. The Commanders have allowed the second-most yards to opposing offenses on the season. With the Cowboys' secondary exploitable by any QB the Commanders throw out there, Lamb should be in line for a steady dose of targets and yards. The real question will be if it's he or George Pickens who comes down with the grabs in the red zone.

Josh Jacobs Note
Josh Jacobs photo 21. Josh Jacobs RB - GB (vs . BAL)
Omarion Hampton Note
Omarion Hampton photo 22. Omarion Hampton RB - LAC (vs . HOU)
Last week, with Kimani Vidal injured, Omarion Hampton saw his snap rate increase to 53.2% with a 33% route share and a 6.9% target share. Hampton finished with 17 touches and 95 total yards. Since his Week 14 return, Hampton has averaged 16 touches and 75.6 total yards. Since Week 14, Hampton has generated a wonderful 9.1% explosive run rate, but he has only had a 14% missed tackle rate and 1.50 yards after contact per attempt. With many runs, unless he can find daylight, he's simply getting what is blocked. Hampton could produce as a solid RB2 this week despite the tough matchup with his volume and touchdown equity in the offense. Since Week 12, Houston has allowed the 14th-fewest rushing yards per game, the eighth-lowest explosive run rate, and the fourth-lowest missed tackle rate.

Nico Collins Note
Nico Collins photo 26. Nico Collins WR - HOU (at LAC)
In what should have been an eruption spot for Collins against the Raiders, he had his fourth-worst fantasy finish score of the season. Sometimes fantasy football just doesn't make sense. This week, the Texans have an even tougher match against the Chargers. The Chargers just held CeeDee Lamb to 51 yards last week. However, they allowed George Pickens to have 130 yards and a score. Both these defenses have been playing great down the stretch, and it may be a tricky spot for Collins to have a big week. That said, he is the motor of this offense adn should manage a fine fantasy day despite the matchup.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Note
Amon-Ra St. Brown photo 27. Amon-Ra St. Brown WR - DET (at MIN)
Dealing with an injury, it will be important to monitor ARSB's health heading into your fantasy final. Even though he failed to come through last week, his nine targets are exactly what you want to see from your fantasy WR1. However, his 54 yards against the Steelers is not what we expected with that usage. This week, they face their division rivals in the Vikings, who have been a tough matchup for receivers all year. You can't ask for better usage, and if ARSB is playing, he needs to be in your lineups.

Chris Olave Note
Chris Olave photo 32. Chris Olave WR - NO (at TEN)
Olave is the WR6 on the season. After being labelled a disappointing fantasy player, limited by the Saints' offensive environment and multiple concussions, Olave has exploded back onto the fantasy scene. Plus, Tyler Shough looks surprisingly functional and has a clear connection with the fourth year wide out. Last week, the two connected on 10 of 16 targets for 148 yards and two scores. This gives Olave four touchdowns in his last four games. Now he faces the Titans in the fantasy finals, who have turned into a pass funnel. Being able to limit the ground game, the Titans don't have an answer for Olave. If you have been riding one of the best draft day values, he should come up in spades when you need him most this week.

Mike Evans Note
Mike Evans photo 33. Mike Evans WR - TB (at MIA)
Evans' return to this offense has been seamless as Cinderella and the glass slipper. In each of his two games back, he has paced the team in targets. Coming through with six receptions for 132 yards in Week 15, and five receptions for 31 yards and a score in Week 16, he is firmly back in the fantasy WR1 range. With two huge games to close out the season and potentially sneak into the playoffs, Evans and Baker Mayfield will need to be clicking. This week, they take on the Dolphins, who let Joe Burrow and the Bengals hang up 45 points last week. Evans is primed for another good fantasy week and should be able to come through even if this defense shuts down Quinn Ewers and company.

Tony Pollard Note
Tony Pollard photo 34. Tony Pollard RB - TEN (vs . NO)
Jameson Williams Note
Jameson Williams photo 35. Jameson Williams WR - DET (at MIN)
ARSB's knee injury will play a key role in Williams' outlook. If ARSB misses their game, Jamo is instantly the top target on this high-powered offense. With 65-plus yards and a total of in six of his last seven games, he has found fantasy consistency when it matters most. This week, they have a tough matchup against the Vikings, who have held opposing groups of receivers to under 100 yards per game since Week 10. If ARSB is available, Williams becomes a riskier option in a tough matchup. However, he has the athleticism to only need one play to make your fantasy week. He should be locked in as a low-end WR1, but it'll feel a lot safer if ARSB is out.

Drake London Note
Drake London photo 36. Drake London WR - ATL (vs . LAR)
It's hard to trust players returning from PCL injuries. We were all reminded that the hard way, when London only caught three of his eight targets for 27 yards. Usually, it would be an easy choice to bench after a performance like this. However, they face the Rams this week, who have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to the WR position since Week 10. If you have made it to your championship game, hopefully, you have a safer option to plug in. When you are as good as London, he could always manage a good fantasy day. This is truly a gut call for anyone fighting for a championship.

A.J. Brown Note
A.J. Brown photo 37. A.J. Brown WR - PHI (at BUF)
With five straight weeks of 10-plus Half PPR points, Brown has turned into a reliable fantasy option down the stretch. Unfortunately, the Eagles' receivers have a brutal matchup to closeout the fantasy season. Since Week 10, the Bills have averaged a total of 97.9 receiving yards per game to opposing WRs. That said, these two offenses have the talent to take advantage of any matchup. Brown remains a low-end WR1 even in a tough matchup, but it's hard to see him coming through with a huge performance to closeout the season.

Trey McBride Note
Trey McBride photo 39. Trey McBride TE - ARI (at CIN)
There's no way around it, after carrying fantasy teams all season, McBride dropped the ball in the fantasy semi-finals. Posting his worst week of the year, it was one of those moments that make fantasy football such a cruel game. However, if you managed to move on, he could single-handedly win you your championship. The Bengals have allowed by far the most fantasy points to the TE position on the season. Plus, the Cardinals' defense won't have the answers for Burrow and company. As a result, we have McBride taking on the worst defense in a game that should be the highest scoring affair of the week. That sounds like a league-winner to me.

Kittle has been phenomenal since returning from injury. Unfortunately, he is also injured right now. With his status uncertain, be sure to check the practice reports. However, if he is active, you have to play him. With 60-plus yards in six consecutive games and five touchdowns in that span, Kittle is the clear second-best TE behind McBride.

Zay Flowers Note
Zay Flowers photo 47. Zay Flowers WR - BAL (at GB)
Zay Flowers is the WR17 in fantasy points per game with a 27.6% target share, 69.5 receiving yards per game, 2.48 yards per route run, and a 33.2% first-read share. Flowers has been awesome this year. If he had scored more than two touchdowns this season, his fantasy standing would be even better. He has only eight red zone targets and has drawn 17 deep targets. Since Week 12, Green Bay has had the fourth-highest two-high rate (63.7%). Against two high, his numbers have dipped some, but remain strong with a 25% target share, 1.95 yards per route run, and a 31.7% first-read share. Flowers' ceiling and floor will be impacted this week, depending upon who is under center, but he should still be the clear focal point for the passing attack against a slipping Green Bay pass defense. Since Week 10, the Packers have allowed the fourth-most PPR points per target and the 11th-most receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Christian Watson Note
Christian Watson photo 62. Christian Watson WR - GB (vs . BAL)
Last week, Christian Watson returned to the lineup with a 67.7% route share, a 25% target share, and a 26.3% first-read share. Watson was running wide open on multiple occasions last week and had numerous missed opportunities. It could have been a huge game for him, but sadly, it didn't work out that way as he finished with two receptions and 17 receiving yards. Watson's target volume remains a concern this week, but he should lead the Green Bay passing attack and has the big play upside to get the job done with limited volume. Since Week 11, Watson has been the WR20 in fantasy points per game with six red zone targets and a team-leading ten deep targets. Since Week 11, Baltimore has had the second-highest single high rate in the NFL (60.8%). Since Week 11, against single high, Watson has led the team with a 24.5% target share, 2.53 yards per route run, and a 32.1% first-read share. The Ravens have had issues defending perimeter wide receivers, which also helps Watson's case. Since Week 12, Baltimore has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game and the second-most receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Kyle Pitts Sr. Note
Kyle Pitts Sr. photo 63. Kyle Pitts Sr. TE - ATL (vs . LAR)
We finally answered the question of what would happen to Pitts when Drake London returned. Well, sort of. It was clear that London is still not fully healthy, allowing Pitts to continue his role as the top target on this offense. In his last two games, Pitts has scored four of his 15 career touchdowns. That's incredible. This week, the Falcons have a tough task against the Rams. Although the Rams' defense has hovered around league average against the TE position, the Falcons will need to find a way to keep up with Matthew Stafford and company. As a result, if Pitts continues to operate as the top receiving weapon, he should find his way to his fifth consecutive top-seven performance at the position.

Woody Marks Note
Woody Marks photo 64. Woody Marks RB - HOU (at LAC)
Woody Marks is set to return to his workhorse role this week. His ankle has improved, as evidenced by his full practices all week. In Weeks 10-14, Marks averaged 20 touches and 68.8 total yards as Houston's lead back. Among 48 qualifying backs, he ranks 31st in explosive run rate and 36th in yards after contact per attempt. Those paltry rankings in per-touch efficiency highlight the continuing fact that Marks is a volume-based RB2 play. Sadly, he returns just in time to face an improved Chargers run defense. Since Week 12, the Chargers have allowed the fourth-lowest explosive run rate, the lowest yards after contact per attempt, and the second-lowest rushing success rate. Marks could still post RB2 numbers this week if he sees his customary 15-20 touches and gets in the end zone, but he won't finish with a pretty stat line.

Ladd McConkey is the WR32 in fantasy points per game. Since Week 8, he has had four top 24 weekly finishes. Since Week 12, Houston has utilized single high at the second-highest rate (63%). Since Week 8, against single high, McConkey has led the team with a 20.8% target share with 1.94 yards per route run and a 15.9% first-read share. McConkey will have a tough time this week against Jalen Pitre in the slot. Since his Week 13 return, Pitre has allowed only a 45.5% catch rate and 26.3 passer rating in slot coverage. Since Week 13, Houston has allowed the 14th-fewest fantasy points per game to slot receivers. McConkey is a WR3/flex this week.

Quentin Johnston ripped Dallas apart last week as the WR11 in weekly scoring with 104 receiving yards and a score. Overall, Johnston is the WR29 in fantasy points per game with six top 24 weekly scoring finishes. Since Week 12, Houston has utilized single high at the second-highest rate (63%). Against single high, Johnston has ranked third on the team with an 18.6% target share, tied for first on the team with 1.73 yards per route run, and had a 22.8% first-read share (second on the team). Johnston should fight with Keenan Allen for the team lead in targets this week. The horrible matchup makes him only a flex play this week, though. Since Week 10, Houston has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Keenan Allen Note
Keenan Allen photo 104. Keenan Allen WR - LAC (vs . HOU)
Keenan Allen's production has fallen off the table since Week 7. He hasn't had more than 9.3 PPR points or 53 receiving yards in any game since. Since Week 12, Houston has utilized single high at the second-highest rate (63%). Since Week 8, against single high, Allen has had only a 16.8% target share with 1.53 yards per route run and a team-leading 23.2% first-read share. Justin Herbert could look his way early and often in this game, but it's fair to question how effective Allen will be. Allen is a low-end flex play only. Since Week 10, Houston has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers.

Romeo Doubs Note
Romeo Doubs photo 105. Romeo Doubs WR - GB (vs . BAL)
Last week, Romeo Doubs had a 25% target share and 26.3% first-read share that he turned into 84 receiving yards and a touchdown. Sadly, his route share dipped to 54.8%, and his 35% target per route run rate last week is unsustainable. Doubs could have a decent game this week against a pass defense that has struggled against perimeter wide receivers, but the coverage matchup isn't in his favor. Since Week 11, Baltimore has had the second-highest single high rate in the NFL (60.8%). Since Week 11, against single high, Doubs has had an 11.7% target share, 1.29 yards per route run, and a 13.2% first-read share. Those aren't encouraging numbers at all. It does work in his favor that since Week 12, Baltimore has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game and the second-most receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers. Doubs is a deep league flex only.

Mark Andrews Note
Mark Andrews photo 113. Mark Andrews TE - BAL (at GB)
Mark Andrews' 2025 season has been an utter disappointment as the TE23 in fantasy points per game. He has a 15.9% target share with 25.3 receiving yards per game, 1.31 yards per route run, and a 19.9% first-read share. Andrews has had 13 red zone targets and two deep targets. He hasn't surpassed 50 receiving yards in a game since Week 3, and that was the only time he has done so this season. Andrews is a sit again this week. Since Week 10, Green Bay has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game and the fifth-fewest yards per target to tight ends.

Jayden Higgins photo 117. Jayden Higgins WR - HOU (at LAC)
It's impossible to trust Jayden Higgins as a flex play this week. Higgins has disappointed in each of the last three weeks with nice matchups. Yes, this is partially a CJ Stroud issue, but also Dalton Schultz is the clear WR2 in this offense. Higgins hasn't had more than three receptions or 34 receiving yards in a game since Week 13. This week, he faces a Bolts' pass defense that has allowed the eighth-fewest receiving yards per game and the fourth-fewest PPR points per target to perimeter wide receivers. Sit Higgins.

After seeing his route share dip in Week 15, last week, Oronde Gadsden saw his route share sit at 69.7%. Since Week 6, Gadsden has been the TE17 in fantasy points per game with a 15.8% target share, 53.3 receiving yards per game, 1.98 yards per route run, and a 17.7% first-read share. In those ten games, he has ten red zone targets, two touchdowns, and eight deep targets. Gadsden is back on the streaming radar this week. Since Week 10, Houston has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends while ranking 17th in yards per target.
