Welcome back, everybody! We’ve got NFL Week 4 officially in the books and a lot to recap from ALL the action! My goal with this weekly piece is to provide you sewith the most critical KEY ACTION items from every game – waiver wire pickups, trade, add, drop, stash, buy, sell, start, sit, etc. – for your fantasy football team based on what happened the previous week. Let me do the work of scouring through the data and film so you can just follow my lead. As my college marketing professor always said, “Keep it simple, stupid.” The KISS mantra is at its finest.
Obviously, I’ll cite data and what I observed on film from the past weekend’s matchups, highlighting what matters most and what’s potentially just noise. I will make a strong effort to feature players coming off polarizing performances, as they are sure to be the ones fantasy managers have the most question marks about.
And back by popular demand….tables and charts!
Again, the idea behind the Fantasy Forecast (now named BEYOND THE WAIVER WIRE) has always been about identifying which players are running routes, seeing high snap shares, and earning high-value targets, as these tend to be precursors for future fantasy production. And sometimes, they don’t always appear in the normal box score.
So, without further ado…let’s GO beyond the waiver wire for Week 5 to prepare our rosters for future success.
To infinity and beyond (the waiver wire)!

Running Backs
Trey Benson – Played 55% of the snaps in his first start of the year. But still out-touched the next closest RB – Emari Demercado by a touch count of 13-4. After failing to deliver in a massive prime-time spot albeit in a tough matchup, I think Benson is a great buy-low target among RBs. He is an explosive RB who catches passes. The process says…go after that guy. So naturally he gets placed on IR after making him my RB to target for Week 5. WOOF.
Emari Demercado – Handled 39% of the snaps.
Michael Carter – 4 snaps. However, with the recent news of Benson being placed on IR – I’d expect Carter to be the primary RB on early downs with Demercado sprinkling on passing/third downs. But given next matchup – at home as heavy favorites versus the Titans – I think Carter is in for the better fantasy outing. However their production could vary week-to-week. But last season Carter played 70% plus snaps in Weeks 17-18 with Benson/Carter out with injuries.
I apologize for missing out on a potential Benson injury. Apparently he missed the Cardinals’ extra practice on Monday following their Thursday Night Game (reported late Monday night). When asked about Benson on Monday, head coach Jonathan Gannon said, “Just taking it day by day. We’ll have that full report for you guys on Wednesday. (It’s) kind of an extra day today.” This went relatively unreported by most media accounts which is why it came as such a surprise when Benson went on IR Wednesday. I missed it as a result and apologize for recommending to buy a player who might have had an underlying injury. 100% on me.

Wide Receivers
Marvin Harrison Jr. – Brutal 1st half, but rebounded in a big way in the second half on Thursday night. Still, the inconsistencies with Kyler Murray are impossible to ignore. The usage and overall involvement (air yards, targets, red-zone usage) gives MHJ a high-weekly floor, but the ceiling can only be unlocked if he and Murray can really connect. If you want out I don’t blame you. But I don’t think you’ll get a worthwhile deal if I am being honest. Hold
Greg Dortch – 64% snaps played with Zay Jones inactive.
Xavier Weaver – WR4

Wide Receivers
Drake London – Drake London did all of his damage in the first half, with 6-95-1 (RZ score) on 7 first-half targets. The Falcons’ No. 1 WR finally had the breakout game (38% target share, 40% target rate per route run) that I was hoping for when I was pumping his draft stock all offseason. London remains a buy and target if he can be acquired cheaper during his bye week. I like the schedule coming up after the Falcons’ bye week. Keep in mind that the Falcons fired their previous WR coach before Week 4, in an effort to get more offensive WR production. So far, so good.
Darnell Mooney – Left the game in the third quarter. Limited to just 45% of the snaps. Was noted as a hamstring injury, but he is not expected to miss games with the team going on a bye in Week 5.
Casey Washington – Saw the largest increase in playing time after Mooney’s injury (52% snap share).

Derrick Henry – Figures to be the focal point if Lamar can’t go in Week 5. If there were ever a time to buy Henry on the cheap…it would be right now. That being said…Texans and Rams are up next. Not exactly the easiest defenses to take on.
Justice Hill – Ripped off a long TD in the fourth quarter.

Chuba Hubbard – 51% snap share. It was a blowout, and Hubbard entered the game with an injury. He was effective before being game-scripted out of the contest. I also think Hubbard’s receiving has been a positive surprise for him this season. Regardless, he will bounce back next week at home in a smash spot versus Miami.
Trevor Etienne – Mostly garbage time.
Rico Dowdle – Even though Hubbard is the RB1, Dowdle still gets plenty involved to somewhat cap Hubbard’s RB1 fantasy ceiling. Dowdle out-carried Hubbard in the first half (7 versus 6) while finishing with 39% of the snaps. Worth a stash off waivers if Hubbard gets banged up. Also, with bye weeks here, he could be a FLEX option of desperation RB2 versus Miami. Hubbard also has been listed as day-to-day with his calf injury, making Dowdle that much more of an addition.

Tetairoa McMillan – Remains a priority buy-low target. Head and shoulders above every other Panthers WR. Bryce Young and T-Mac failed to connect on a number of targets. In Week 4, T-Mac had nearly 50% of the team’s total air yards and a 22% target share.
I should note that his underwhelming box score was not because of Christian Gonzalez‘s shadow coverage. The Pats’ No. 1 CB only covered him at times, and the rookie hardly looked overmatched against one of the NFL’s premier CBs.
Brycen Tremayne – Operated as Carolina’s WR2 after David Moore‘s early injury.

Running Backs
D’Andre Swift – The Bears’ rushing attack is anemic. I’d anticipate some kind of change to this RB room post-bye week. Swift (66% snap rate in Week 4) is being his uber-inefficient self from last season. Sell before he loses his job outright. Through four games, D’Andre Swift has the 9th-worst rushing success rate at 3.3 yards per carry (Bottom-10 PFF rushing grade). A Week 5 bye week has me exploring trade options.
Kyle Monangai – The rookie played 28% of the snaps. I don’t think you need to hold him through the bye week…but I’d stay ahead of next report that says, “Bears looking to revamp run game over bye week.” That could mean more of the rookie 7th-rounder. I’m not saying that Monangai is taking over this backfield by any means (because he has also been inefficient). Maybe down the line, but not necessarily in Week 6. I am saying that Swift might be overvalued as a bell cow who has been very inefficient and doesn’t have a lucrative red-zone role. The receiving gives him a nice boost, and that likely won’t change even if he sees a reduced rushing role. Swift has always been a mid-to-low-end fantasy RB2. If you can get more for that…take it.

Rome Odunze – The second-year breakout is a perfect example of why we chase red-zone usage year over year. Odunze was an end-zone monster in 2024. And in 2025, he has turned those end-zone targets into TDs. Trust the process.
DJ Moore – Just more low ADOT (4.3) and low-value targets for DJ Moore in Week 4 culminating into a 4-38 stat line . DJ Moore managers are just keeping their fingers crossed that he gets traded at some point. Because the role Moore has in this 2025 Bears offense is lackluster at best. Moore is the WR48 in expected fantasy PPG this season.
Luther Burden – I’d also expect Burden to be more involved after the bye week. Keep him stashed. We could very much see the Bears’ offense look different and feature more of Burden and fellow rookie Colston Loveland.

Running Backs
Quinshon Judkins – Led the backfield in routes and snaps (58%). Scored early on and stayed involved in the passing game despite the negative game script. An every-week starter. From a buy/sell perspective, it’s tough to parse because there’s still a chance he serves a 2-4 game suspension at some point. Hold.
Jerome Ford – 27% snaps.
Dylan Sampson – 13% snaps.

Wide Receivers
Jerry Jeudy – Dominated the targets and air yards without Cedric Tillman 100% healthy. 45% air yard share and a 26% target share. Had more drops (per usual), but the fact of the matter is that Jeudy sees his involvement skyrocket when Tillman is out.
Cedric Tillman – Left the game with a hamstring injury. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Tillman (hamstring) will be sidelined for “weeks,” Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. He was subsequently placed on IR.
Isaiah Bond – Second in the team in routes run. Made a great downfield grab. If Tillman misses extended time, Bond could see a larger role.

Tight Ends
David Njoku – Becoming an afterthought in the offense. If a rookie QB goes under center for the Browns, that could take a toll on the entire passing attack, but especially Njoku. The Browns TE is just the TE27 in expected fantasy PPG.
Harold Fannin – 7-yard gain wiped out on a penalty marker. Not efficient, but more than doubled Njoku’s targets (he also out-snapped him 85% to 84%). ROS, you want Fannin as the Browns TE1. The rookie had 2 red-zone targets (with a RZ carry) but didn’t score. He has out-gained Njoku in three of four games played this season. Fannin is TE7 in expected fantasy PPG.

Dallas Cowboys
Moves to Make: Hold Javonte Williams, Dak Prescott | Add Jaydon Blue
Quarterback
Dak Prescott – Against all odds, Prescott put on a clinic against Green Bay on Sunday Night, which was viewed as one of the league’s best defenses. But without CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Booker, Cooper Beebe and now OT Tyler Guyton (concussion) we might see the Dallas offense come back to Earth in the coming weeks. Back-to-back road games versus Jets/Rams coming up. Eventually, those guys will return – Schottenheimer said both were trending in the right direction – and neither was placed on IR. Consider Dak more of a hold based on how well he has played and the reinforcements that should come back. Just adjust expectations for the next few games.

Running Backs
Javonte Williams – I have loved what I have seen from Williams this season. He looks like he has fully regained his pre-ACL injury form. In an overtime contest, Williams played 80% of the snaps. In a bad matchup, he STILL rushed for 85 yards. Buy/hold Williams. Even if the Dallas offense regresses somewhat with another OL injury…Williams is still a long-term bet in this backfield.
Miles Sanders – Suffered an ankle injury, limiting him to just seven snaps on offense. Might be worth it to just stash/add Jaydon Blue if he is on waivers. He is close to being active for game days. However it does appear that Sanders will be available on Sunday.

KaVontae Turpin – Third in WR routes. Also had a 23-yard gain removed on an illegal formation call.

David Montgomery – Didn’t score, and his usage is lackluster compared to Jahmyr Gibbs in 2025. If you didn’t sell after the Ravens game, wait to move him after the Lions play the Bengals. Good spot for him to score. Because at this point and the rest of the season, he will be very TD-dependent.

- Led the backfield with a 56% snap rate, 21 touches overall, and earned an 18% target share (36% target rate per route run) despite a positive game script (typically bad for pass-catching RBs). Marks also bogarted all the red-zone touches for the Texans and scored the Texans’ first red-zone TD of the 2025 season. Great matchup next week versus the Ravens. And with no Joe Mixon return on the horizon, Marks should stay involved even alongside a healthy Chubb.

Wide Receivers
Adonai Mitchell – What could have been. The second-year WR got the start with Alec Pierce out. And he nearly had a 100-yard game on just three catches. But he made a bone-headed decision by fumbling out of the back of the end zone on an easy TD. He then also drew a holding call on a JT TD. Woof. Even so, Mitchell has a high ceiling. But don’t overinvest, as a Pierce return likely puts Mitchell back into a rotational role. Hopefully, you already have him, as I recommended him as a buy last week.
Michael Pittman Jr. – Really showing that last year was a fluke with his targets because of his back injury. He’s emerging as the alpha in the Colts’ passing game with Daniel Jones under center. 30% target share and 164 air yards in Week 4.

Running Backs
Travis Etienne – 60% snap share. The Jags used all 3 of their RBs for the second straight week, but that didn’t stop ETN. He ripped off another huge TD run (48-yard long) as he continues to thrive in the Liam Coen offense. However, the receiving usage was down again (just one catch, fewer routes than Allen). The 49ers’ matchup might have been tougher had Nick Bosa still been part of the defense. Even so, Etienne took advantage. I still think he’s a sell-high with the toughest defenses yet to come between the Chiefs, Seahawks, and Rams before a Week 8 bye week. And I expect Tuten to get more involved in the second half of the season.
Bhayshul Tuten – 24% snap share. Note that Tuten has been battling a shoulder injury, which might be keeping his snaps down.
LeQuint Allen – 18% snap share.

Wide Receivers
Brian Thomas Jr. – Led the team with a 35% air yards share and 23% target share. Not gaudy numbers by any means, but good for the Jags’ No. 1 WR. Still very much a buy-low as the WR15 in XFPPG. He was more efficient on his targets in Week 4 than in past weeks, and he led the team in receiving yards (49).
Travis Hunter – Played more on offense (65% route participation) than defense (9 snaps). His usage is going to fluctuate a ton based on the matchup and how the Jaguars want to deploy him that specific week, given injuries, etc.
Parker Washington – 87-yard punt return for a TD.

Moves to Make: Sell Travis Kelce & Isiah Pacheco | Buy Rashee Rice & Patrick Mahomes
Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes – One of the best outings we have seen from Mahomes in a long time. With Xavier Worthy back and Rashee Rice a few weeks from returning…I’d be looking to buy the Chiefs QB.

Running Backs
Isiah Pacheco – 37% snaps. Had a few nice classic Pacheco runs, but this backfield is still a committee.
Kareem Hunt – 44% snaps. Also, there was a conservative effort to get rookie Brashard Smith more involved.
Brashard Smith – Season-high in snaps (26%) with eight touches for 36 yards. Had three combined touches through the first three games. With both Hunt (red-zone opportunities) and Smith (RB targets) eating into Pacheco’s high-value opportunities, the Chiefs RB1 is a sell.
Rushing (non-QBs)

| Brashard Smith | 4 | 9 | 2.3 | 0 | 5 |
Wide Receivers
Xavier Worthy – The Chiefs’ offense looked like a completely different unit with Worthy back in the fold. The second-year WR was not limited after missing basically the last three games with a shoulder injury. He played 59% of the snaps, totaling over 100 yards from scrimmage as both a rusher and receiver. 22% target share. 32% target rate per route run. 131 air yards. Also had two more targets nullified on penalties.
Rashee Rice – Just two more weeks till Rice can return. The Chiefs’ offense looked back in Week 4, and getting Rice back will help this offense even more. Try to acquire Rice from a roster that is looking for wins now.
Marquise Brown
Tyquan Thornton – Played just 34% of the snaps and saw his playing time reduce with Worthy back.

Ashton Jeanty – Breakout game! The Bears’ defense is terrible against the run, and the rookie took full advantage. I understand that not every matchup will be this easy…but this can be used as a springboard for the rookie RB. He is a three-down workhorse (85%) snap share and can be the highest scoring player in a week with a favorable matchup. Just be wary that if OT Kolton Miller is out for multiple weeks, that could create more OL issues.
Raheem Mostert – Played ahead of Zamir White.

Quentin Johnston – Through 4 weeks, nobody has been more productive than the Chargers’ third-year WR. He looks like a new guy compared to his rookie and even his second season. We see third-year breakouts often, and it appears that QJ is here to stay. Once viewed as an extremely boom-or-bust product, Johnston is hitting his BOOM potential in stride. Guys don’t usually have 13 target games by accident (32% target share, 145 air yards).
Keenan Allen – No red-zone targets this week. Listed Allen as a sell-high last week, and he had his worst game to date. With QJ here to stay and Ladd McConkey likely to get going at some point…Allen remains a sell high.
Ladd McConkey – After a crazy productive rookie season, Ladd McConkey‘s numbers have tanked. Quentin Johnston‘s breakout and Keenan Allen‘s built-in rapport with Justin Herbert have taken a major toll on the Chargers’ second-year man. I’d like to think that he will turn things around because he’s super talented…but with those other two guys healthy, it’s hard to see after what has transpired over the first four weeks. Now Allen is 33 years old and will likely miss games at some point. That might be the jump start Ladd needs to see a boost in receiving yards and targets. It’s not as if Ladd has not seen any volume, but he hasn’t had as many big plays or found the end zone yet. Considering this looks like rock bottom – 1 catch for 11 yards – I think this is the time to buy while there’s immense panic in the streets. The schedule is good over the next few weeks for him to get going.

Running Backs
Jordan Mason – 62% snap share. 19 touches. Hate to admit it, but Jordan Mason might be a sell candidate. The Browns are a tough matchup. Then you have the bye week, followed by Chargers/Lions. By the time the schedule eases up, Aaron Jones might return. Put him on the block and see if you can get any decent returns.
Zavier Scott – The Vikings definitely like to use the former WR turned RB as a receiver. Eight targets in Week 4 for the Vikings RB2 with Aaron Jones out.

Jordan Addison – No limits coming off the suspension (96% snap share). 81-yard long reception.
Adam Thielen – Fell to WR4 in the pecking order.
Jalen Nailor – WR3 and multiple red-zone looks.

Running Backs
Rhamondre Stevenson – Even after a horrible Week 3, the Patriots went right back to Stevenson in Week 4. Started and led the Pats with a 57% snap rate.
TreVeyon Henderson – If this was supposed to be the “breakout game” for Henderson, then man, was it disappointing. He salvaged his fantasy outing with a TD, but just a 31% snap share in a prime spot. I don’t feel too dissimilar about Henderson than I did last week – read more about that here – but I’m pressing pause on going after him in trades. It might be a while till his usage changes…and the fact of the matter is that he will never be a bell cow. He just isn’t built that way. And eventually, he will start ripping off explosives. I still like him down the stretch run, but I think he’s a hold on fantasy benches until we see something different that suggests he can be trusted in starting lineups. He’s offered a “floor” every week with some mediocre yards/reception totals, but the big plays have been nonexistent. The upcoming matchups are still positive, and a potential shootout versus Buffalo might call for Henderson’s big-play upside to be forced into play – especially in negative game script.
Antonio Gibson – Played 18% of the snaps.
Rushing (non-QBs)

| Kyle Williams | 1 | -2 | -2.0 | 0 | -2 |
Wide Receivers
Stefon Diggs – Stefon Diggs had his best game as a Patriot in Week 4, going for six catches and 100-plus yards. After four weeks, it appears that Stefon Diggs might be coming back into form after the torn ACL injury from 2024. Snaps were up to 63% despite the team sitting guys in the fourth quarter. He actually led the Patriots in routes run (77%) along with a dominant 39% target share.
Kayshon Boutte – Operated as Pats No. 2 WR.
DeMario Douglas – Played just eight snaps. After a bad Week 3, Douglas is potentially falling out of favor. Kyle Williams played more snaps (29%) and also had a designed carry. Williams might be worth an add in very deep formats.

Running Backs
Alvin Kamara – It’s possible that AK41 could get traded with the Saints sitting at 0-4. Even so, Alvin Kamara‘s receiving has been inconsistent in this offense with Spencer Rattler. In two of four games with Rattler, Kamara’s been held to 2 or fewer targets. He had ZERO of those games in 2024. If Kendre Miller continues to get more involved, I’m concerned about Kamara’s season-long value. However, the schedule for New Orleans is pretty favorable coming up for the RBs. So if you have to hold or can’t get a decent deal – I think that’s the move.
Kendre Miller – Miller led the Saints with 4 RZ carries, including an 18-yard rushing TD. Also played a season-high 31% snap share.

Jaxson Dart – left briefly to be checked for a concussion. Ran way more than I anticipated in his first start. Great for fantasy if he uses his legs this much. But it’s a terrible run out for his sheer upside without Malik Nabers for the rest of the season.

Cam Skattebo – Workhorse with Tyrone Tracy out. 6 RZ opps with a 75% snap share. Probably will only go as far as the Giants’ offense will with Dart out. But with Nabers gone, Brian Daboll will have to lean on his top playmakers, which includes Skattebo.
Rushing (non-QBs)

| Cam Skattebo | 25 | 79 | 3.2 | 0 | 16 |

Wide Receivers
Darius Slayton – Should see the biggest boost from Nabers’ injury and Dart as the QB. He drew deep targets in Week 4 (51% air yards share), including one that was wiped away on a DPI. Averaged 11 targets per game (8-122-1 and 6-57-0) in two starts last season without Nabers in the lineup.
Malik Nabers – Feared to have a torn ACL. Later confirmed on Monday.
Wan’Dale Robinson – Must-add WR of the week. Robinson has shown that he can command a high number of targets and demand red-zone looks. With New York expanding his route tree past just low ADOT stuff, Robinson could turn into a weekly fantasy WR option ROS. Averaged 10 targets per game without Nabers last season.

Kenneth Gainwell – Full-blown bell cow. We got news early Sunday morning that Jaylen Warren was out. The Steelers turned to Gainwell, who played 77% of the snaps and was close to scoring 3 TDs (27% target share).
Kaleb Johnson – Johnson was active on Sunday and saw his highest involvement as a rookie. 21% of the snaps (11) with 6 carries for 22 yards. With Gainwell stealing the show, the 2025 optimistic outlook for Johnson now comes with leapfrogging both Warren/Gainwell on the depth chart. No need to hold him through the bye week.
Jaylen Warren – I viewed Warren as a winner last week after a strong outing versus the Patriots. But with a bye week coming up and Gainwell’s massive performance, I think this Steelers backfield could morph into more of a committee. And that’s not even factoring in Johnson, who – like a lot of rookies – could see an expanded role post bye week.

Wide Receivers
DK Metcalf – DK Metcalf buried me as a fade in Week 4 – ripping off a HUGE 80-yard catch-and-run to the house. But the facts are the facts. Through four games, Metcalf is outside the top-50 in expected fantasy points per game. 3rd-most points scored ABOVE expectation. And that’s because he owns a super low Adot (5.9) and a 20% target share (5.5 targets per game). He has scored in three straight games. Metcalf’s current usage (low-aDOT, low volume) suggests that his production will tail off dramatically. Sell high.
Calvin Austin – Left Sunday’s game against the Vikings in Dublin due to a shoulder injury.

Ricky Pearsall – Also got banged up but did return to the game. 56% snaps. However, early indications are that he has a minor PCL injury. Not good on a short week for him to suit up on Thursday.
Jauan Jennings – Got banged up but did return. 73% snaps. Says he is going to play on Thursday.
Demarcus Robinson – Likely to see an expanded role in Week 5. Didn’t get targeted till late 3rd quarter in Week 4. He will probably see the biggest playing time shift if Pearsall doesn’t play as the team’s downfield threat. Remember, he only missed the first few weeks because he was suspended.
Kendrick Bourne – Potential to be more involved with other WR injuries. Second in WR routes run in Week 4.

Running Backs
Kenneth Walker III – True 50/50 split with Charbonnet. 50% snaps to Charbonnet’s 47%. Each drew eight carries in the 1st half. But Walker had the higher total touches (20 to 14) and was more efficient on a per-touch basis.
Zach Charbonnet – Scored the rushing red-zone TD. Had another red-zone TD called back on a holding call. Dominated the red-zone carries as he can sometimes do. Walker is better than Charbonnet (better in every rushing category), but he’s going to remain involved in this backfield in some capacity. Luckily, Seattle’s run-heavy approach – 31st in PROE – provides enough volume for Walker to still produce even in a committee.

Bucky Irving – 20 more touches, but he did lose a fumble. Irving is getting loaded up with touches, so be sure that Rachaad White is at least rostered as a handcuff option. Reported on Monday that Irving would be getting an MRI.
Rachaad White – The Buccaneers RB2 played 42% of the snaps, as Bucky got banged up a bit at the end of the second quarter. In case the injury is long-term…add Sean Tucker as well.

Chris Godwin – The veteran made his 2025 debut in Week 4, with no limitations on his playing time. 86% route participation and 10 targets. But just three catches for 26 yards. Probably knocking off some rust, I’d presume it’s a few weeks till Godwin gets back up to speed (similar to Stefon Diggs).

Wide Receivers
Elic Ayomanor – He has been Cam Ward‘s most productive WR, even if it hasn’t been great. But the fact that a new play caller steps in and Ayomanor commands a 51% air yards share and 19% target share is a great sign for the rookie. Buy/Add.
Calvin Ridley – Can’t get much worse for Calvin Ridley. Had people ask me this past week if they should drop Ridley for Ayomanor. After Week 4, I felt justified in telling those to pull the trigger. I don’t think Ridley will continue to be this bad for the rest of the season, but you can’t play him till we see more positives. In shallower leagues, he is a drop (for Ayomanor). It is interesting that he only played 54% of the snaps, running a route on 40% of the dropbacks. Usage down, production tanking….Sell.
Callahan came out on Monday and said that Ridley had his snaps dialed back during Sunday’s loss to the Texans due to an undisclosed injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site reports.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. – Led the backfield with 35% snaps played. Ripped off a long 48-yard rush and started the game for Washington. He also out-carried JCM 4-1 in the first half and earned the most red-zone touches (2).
Jacory Croskey-Merritt – Tied for C-Rod with a 35% snap rate. Still, Bill led the Commanders RBs with touches (9) – but it was by a narrow amount. He also saw just one touch in the first half – the fewest among all the Commanders RBs. Even so, the split-committee usage was essentially the same as the week previously. The Commanders don’t seem like they truly want to cut it loose with Croskey-Merritt, even though he remains very efficient (No.1 in the NFL in rushing success rate at 55% at 5.9 yards per carry). Usage has been frustrating, but he’s still a rookie 7th-rounder that I think the Commanders will continue to get more involved as the season progresses. Given the usage over the last two weeks, he can probably be acquired for next to nothing. And even though C-Rod and Bill are both averaging north of 5 yards per carry…the down-to-down consistency is stark. Rodriguez had a bottom-5 success rate rushing among RBs this season (22%).
Jeremy McNichols – 33% snap rate. Also earned a direct snap in the red zone while leading the backfield in routes run.

Moves to Make: Buy Jaylen Waddle, Add Malik Washington & Darren Waller
Quarterback

Running Backs
De’Von Achane – Totaled 5 red-zone touches with a TD. 76% snap rate as the Dolphins’ RB1.
Ollie Gordon – 3 touches inside the 20-yard line. 26% snap rate. Sees occasional red zone looks to spike fantasy production. Good bench RB option (Panthers next).
Rushing (non–QBs)

| De’Von Achane | 20 | 99 | 5.0 | 1 | 21 |
| Olllie Gordon | 6 | 10 | 1.7 | 0 | 7 |
| Malik Washington | 2 | 8 | 4.0 | 0 | 8 |
Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill – Left the game with a gruesome knee injury. Season-ending, if not career-ending, for the 31-year-old WR. Reports surfaced that Hill tore multiple ligaments in the knee that he dislocated in Monday night’s win over the Jets.
Jaylen Waddle – Targeted twice in the RZ but did not score. Waddle had a quiet game, but did finish with a team-high seven targets when considering penalties. We have seen Waddle in the past SMASH without Hill…and I would expect nothing less for the rest of the 2025 season. In Waddle’s last 3 games with Tyreek Hill either out or playing a sub-50% snap share(not including last night’s game)…the Dolphins WR averaged 9 targets and 85 receiving yards per game…
Malik Washington – Add this week. I expect Washington to get a ton of schemed looks in this offense without Hill in the fold. He was quiet in Week 4…but should have more opportunities moving forward. Add off waivers.

Tight Ends
Darren Waller – Scored on his two red-zone targets. Put his big body to work. But he only played 28% of the snaps. That will probably increase in Week 5…but Waller won’t catch TDs every single week. Although the Panthers are a team that has struggled to defend TEs…(6th-best matchup for TEs).

Cincinnati Bengals
Moves to Make: Buy Ja’Marr Chase
Quarterback
Jake Browning – 2 road losses have Bengals fans and fantasy football managers calling for Browning’s job. But what else was there to be expected? Two road matchups versus the Vikings/Broncos – two of the better defenses in the NFL. Browning also underperformed in his first two starts back in 2023…before going on a run of 21-plus fantasy points scored in six straight games. Browning put up 27 fantasy points versus the Jaguars at home in Week 2. With the Lions coming to town in Week 5, I think we see the Bengals rebound. So yeah…buy Ja’Marr Chase.

Running Backs
Chase Brown – Had one carry inside the 20-yard line. 73% snaps. More room to run this week than in past games…but no dice without any TDs. Volume RB2/FLEX rest of season.
Samaje Perine – 31% snap rate.

Wide Receivers
Ja’Marr Chase – Led the Bengals with 8 targets, but for almost no production. Already outlined why I think Chase is a buy. The Lions are banged up at CB. Chase blow-up spot incoming.
Tee Higgins – Saw 2 red-zone targets. He also had a massive 37-yard catch wiped off because of an illegal formation penalty. Beyond tilting, as Tee Higgins had the usage for a bigger game. Remains a boom-or-bust WR3/FLEX option.

Running Backs
J.K. Dobbins – Led the backfield with a 44% snap rate in another very productive outing. Even so…hold at your own risk. We know the injury track record for Dobbins. And the rookie is looking great behind him.
RJ Harvey – Led the Broncos with 4 red-zone touches and narrowed the snap share with 41%. Harvey’s role is continuing to grow, just as well as Dobbins has played. We saw him flash in the red zone, while his receiving role continues to be excellent (4 catches for 40 yards and 1 TD on 5 targets). Out-touched Dobbins 19-17 on Monday Night (Harvey had another carry removed on a holding call). Buy.
Tyler Badie – Just 8 snaps played.
