Welcome back! Week 7 is in the books, and it’s time to sift through everything we just watched. This article isn’t about charts or graphs anymore — it’s about clear, actionable takeaways. My goal each week is simple: give you the most important moves to make across every game — who to add, drop, buy, sell, start, or stash — based on what actually matters (or what I think does).
I’ve already done the legwork, digging into the data and film. You just get the results — no noise, no overthinking. Expect plenty of notes on players coming off big or confusing performances, because that’s where the edge usually is.
Let’s go beyond the box scores, beyond the headlines… and once again, Beyond the Waiver Wire.
LFG.
Beyond the Waiver Wire: Fantasy Football Moves to Make
Arizona Cardinals
Hold Zonovan Knight | Sell Marvin Harrison Jr.
Jacoby Brissett made his second start of the NFL season with Kyler Murray out.
Per NGS… Brissett was productive when passing in rhythm (between 2.5 and 4.0 seconds), completing 13 of 20 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown.
Overall, Brissett completed 25 of 36 attempts for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns; however, he was pressured on over half of his dropbacks (56.5%) and was sacked 6 times.
His presence has been a boon for Trey McBride, who can finally catch TDs.
Can’t say the same for the WRs. Marvin Harrison had just 2 catches despite 8 targets. Air yards leader (40% with 66 incomplete air yards). Through 7 games, MHJ is PFF’s 65th-graded WR. WR43 in XPPG (in line with expectation). I don’t think it’s going to happen with Marv Jr. with Kyler Murray as his QB.
Also not in love with the postseason schedule either for Arizona (HOU, ATL, CIN).
I’d expect Kyler Murray to return after the bye week. So, in theory, that does make Trey McBride a “sell-high,” but elite TEs are a rare commodity. It all depends on the return and what else you have at tight end.
As for the backfield, it’s a mess.
Zonovan Knight is the “starter” leading the way with 14 carries for 57 scoreless yards (four targets). Also, the goal-line back (3 RZ touches).
Michael Carter had 7 carries for 11 yards with two catches for 25 yards.
Knight did get hurt in this game, though, dealing with a concussion.
D’Ernest Johnson was active for this game and also chipped in snaps (mostly on third downs).
- Knight – 45%
- Carter – 37%
- Johnson RB- 18%
With Emari Demercado factoring in post-bye and Trey Benson eventually coming back, you don’t need to hold any Cardinals RB too tightly. RB depth. Nothing more and nothing less.
According to the FantasyPros SOS tool, Arizona’s RB schedule ROS is bottom-8. If you can sell these guys…do it. They get Dallas after the bye, but that’s the last layup. The only guy I’d try to keep is Knight.
The Cardinals also lost Josh Sweat to an injury in this game (but he returned).

Atlanta Falcons
Buy ALL Falcons
Kyle Pitts had a team-high 11 targets, going 7 for 62 yards.
Drake London was a disappointment, but he still saw 10 targets. Buy low.
Darnell Mooney made his return to the lineup, with 3-68 on seven targets.
After a lackluster prime-time showing…this entire offense is BUY LOW.
The Miami Dolphins are next.
I’m not sure the O/U for Bijan Robinson‘s rushing yards can be set high enough.
If you are in a pinch, you can probably FLEX Tyler Allgeier this week as well.
I like the schedule ROS for the Falcons’ bye week (top-10 ROS). Keep in mind that the Falcons fired their previous WR coach before Week 4, in an effort to get more offensive WR production. So far, so good.
Last three weeks, London has averaged 12 targets, 7.3 receptions, and 103 receiving yards per game.
The Falcons have the No. 1 SOS rest of season for QBs. Let Michael Penix COOK. Solid playoff schedule as well (TB, ARI, LAR).
But be sure to monitor his status this week. He hurt his leg toward the end of the game. Labeled as day-to-day (which is usually more pessimistic than optimistic).
Add Kirk Cousins, just in case.
Atlanta lost starting LB Divine Deablo in this game.

Baltimore Ravens
Buy Derrick Henry | Add Isaiah Likely
Naturally, when I finally generate the courage to take the under on the Big Dog in a brutal matchup, he truck sticks me. Derrick Henry rushed for 122 yards with no TDs in Week 6.
At least the buy-low take from last week aged well! And it looks even better with the Bears/Dolphins up next for the Ravens,
Zay Flowers entered Week 6 on a reported “pitch count,” but you couldn’t tell from his box score. 6-46 on a team-high 10 targets.
And apparently, there was no snap count. I get it’s Halloween szn, but enough of these ghost reports about players’ playing time — 91% snap rate for the Ravens WR1. LOL.
The Ravens are screaming buy-low candidates across the board with the idea that Lamar Jackson comes back after the bye week.
Coach John Harbaugh noted after Sunday’s loss to the Rams that Jackson (hamstring) is expected to return to action in Week 8
If there’s anybody to consider stashing…it’s Isaiah Likely. Mark Andrews has been heavily discussed in trades dating back to the summer.
Likely out-snapped Andrews (81% to 78%) in Week 6, running more routes than the veteran.

Buffalo Bills
Add Keon Coleman | Buy James Cook
Tight end Dalton Kincaid did not play before the Bills’ bye week due to an oblique injury. And that was just the first injury Buffalo had to deal with. They lost DT Da’Quan Jones (along with more secondary injuries) and WR Josh Palmer. Palmer looked primed for a big game – broadcast spoke about Joe Brady wanting to get him more involved – but he got hurt after his second catch. Palmer has been labeled week-to-week.
Tyrell Shavers ended up being more involved, which is not a recipe for success.
Keon Coleman led the team with six targets but finished with just three catches for 11 yards.
If Kincaid/Palmer are out long-term, Buffalo needs their second-year WR to step up.
And although the yardage hasn’t been there…Coleman has 6-plus targets in back-to-back games. 23% target share over the last two weeks (against two better man CBs). Leader in air yards.
Trust the process. Add Coleman after he gets dropped this week (the Bills are on a bye week in Week 7).
James Cook played a season-low (not including blow-outs) in snaps versus Atlanta. The Bills took him out in passing downs in favor of Ty Johnson (why tho)…as he saw zero involvement as a receiver (no targets and fewer routes than Johnson). With Cook running the ball effectively and Buffalo down multiple skill players, this made no sense. Buffalo likes Johnson as a pass-catcher, but when push comes to shove, Cook is the guy you paid to be your superstar.
When Sean McDermott was asked about Cook’s usage post-game, he acknowledged that it might change moving forward. What a novel idea. Buy Cook coming off the bye week.
Note that the Panthers’ matchup isn’t as great as it was in the preseason. Their defense has vastly improved against the run.
Also, Buffalo’s playoff schedule isn’t great either (NE, CLE, PHI). Something to keep in mind.

Carolina Panthers
Buy Tetairoa McMillan | Add Xavier Legette
Panthers RB usage per Michael Florio:
- Chuba Hubbard: 54% snaps, 14 carries, 17 routes, 3 targets (55 yds)
- Rico Dowdle: 46% snaps, 17 carries, 9 routes, 2 targets (96 yds)
The Panthers went back to the guy they paid. Hubbard started and led the team with more first-half carries (9 vs 4).
But Dowdle was more efficient on a per-touch basis. Basically, we are just looking at a 50/50 split ROS while both guys are healthy. They will split drives, etc.
Not ideal. Because I don’t think they will change their approach unless there is an injury.
And keep in mind that Hubbard was knocking off some rust after missing time with an injury.
Also, starting guard Damien Lewis did not play in this game.
Both Panthers RBs will be usable versus the Bills’ poor run defense in Week 8.
Bryce Young also left this game with an ankle injury.
Bryce Young (ankle) MRI reveals high-ankle sprain https://t.co/lOm3W3EiIT via @GarrettBFF #KeepPounding
— FantasyPros (@FantasyProsNFL) October 20, 2025
It was diagnosed as a high-ankle sprain and he will miss at least next week. Andy Dalton will start in his place at home versus Buffalo.
Xavier Legette also got hurt in this game but returned. He had a career game with 9-92-1 on 11 targets (34% target share).
And this might not have happened had it not been for Young’s injury. The minute that Dalton steps in as QB1…Legette gets PEPPERED with five targets, catching four passes for 60 yards.
Jalen Coker went 0-for-2 in his season debut. Ran a route on fewer than 50% of the dropbacks but used mostly downfield with both of his targets coming on 10-plus air yard throws (34 air yards).
Tetairoa McMillan was kept quiet in a tough matchup. Back to being a buy-low…especially if Young is out for an extended period. We have seen Dalton fuel fantasy success for Panthers WRs in this Dave Canales offense before.
The rookie WR is 19th in XPPG this season.
The Panthers’ run defense also showed out yet again – limiting the Jets to just 81 yards on 20 carries. The Panthers have now allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards in each of their last three outings (Panthers Wire).

Chicago Bears
Add Kyle Monangai & Colston Loveland| Hold D’Andre Swift | Buy Rome Odunze | Sell DJ Moore
Per Next Gen Stats…D’Andre Swift rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries against the Saints, gaining +30 rushing yards over expected and a season-high 79 after contact.
Swift also tied his career high with five runs of 10+ yards. It was the outside running game where Swift was at his best, gaining 102 of 124 yards, including all five explosive runs (NGS).
Swift has been his best this season when he’s been running to the outside. 52% snap rate.
He was listed as a “hold” last week because of the favorable matchups upcoming.
Because this matchup definitely was GREAT, given that both Bears RBs ate. Rookie Kyle Monangai rushed 13 times for 81 yards and also scored.
Seven RZ touches for Swift, while Monangai got three of his own.
The rookie also drew more targets. A lot of Monangai’s carries in the fourth quarter – so he probably isn’t taking Swift’s job anytime soon. But the upside case here is that Swift gets hurt or stumbles down the line.
The former Rutgers standout has a role indicated by his season-high 46% snap rate.
However, the upcoming schedule is GREAT, and Swift looks much better post bye week through two games. Probably a better hold than sell – unless you can get someone to overpay.
Swift is a fantasy RB2. Always has been, and likely always will be. No more, no less.
Also, the Bears have the worst schedule for RBs in the playoffs: CLE, GB, and SF.
Rome Odunze didn’t have a TD wiped off the scoreboard this time. Just a straight-up dud, despite a team-high 6 targets (2 for 31 on a 23% target share). Also gobbled up 44% of the air yards (74 incomplete air yards) while running a route on 100% of the dropbacks.
Cole Kmet got hurt in this game (back injury). Add Colston Loveland (3-24 on four targets).
The Bears won’t be able to always rely on the run game (although the next matchups are SOLID) against better offenses. The Bears lost CBs Tyrique Stevenson and Nashon Wright (putting their secondary in a real tough spot).
Good opportunity to buy low on some of these pass-catchers, such as Rome Odunze. Great schedule as well to feel good about putting a aggressive offer out for Odunze, who ranks 15th in XPPG this season.
My major sell for the Bears – DJ Moore – has not bounced back like Swift post bye week. He had three carries for 19 yards (including from the 7-yard line) the last two games but has caught just six passes for 85 yards. Mostly more short stuff for Moore.
Remains a sell. DJ Moore‘s managers are just keeping their fingers crossed that he gets traded at some point.
Note that Moore was also transported to the hospital following Monday night’s game against the Commanders, and he was held overnight for precautionary medical evaluation.
However, his usage and deployment were nearly identical to Week 6.
Luther Burden didn’t carry over his usage into Week 7. 33% route participation was still behind Olamide Zaccheaus.

Cincinnati Bengals
Add Noah Fant | Hold/Buy Chase Brown & Ja’Marr Chase | Add Joe Flacco
Per Next Gen Stats, Chase Brown rushed 11 times for 108 yards in the Bengals’ Week 7 win, gaining a career-high 101 yards after contact.
Brown’s 9.1 yards after contact per carry were the most by any player in a game this season (min. 10 carries). He forced 6 missed tackles on his carries (tying his career-high), gaining 51 extra yards off them. Brown rushed 8 times with T.J. Watt on the field: once for 4 yards toward the side on which Watt was aligned, compared to 7 times for 85 yards away from Watt’s direction.
Samaje Perine played 38% of the snaps. 7 carries for 31 yards. But in the first half…the carries were nearly split 50/50 (5 vs 4).
Brown’s usage and efficiency obviously spiked versus the Steelers compared to his season-long marks. In both games with Joe Flacco, Brown has found more open lanes.
But over the last three games, it still has been closer to a 60/40 split.
And that’s my main takeaway. We still need top-tier volume from Brown…and that hasn’t been the case for him in recent weeks. In a vacuum, Brown is probably a sell….The Jets have a tougher run defense.
But Bears are a cakewalk in Week 9. And if this Joe Flacco boost can work in good matchups…then Brown might be a sneaky buy candidate.
From Weeks 14-16, it’s the Bills, Ravens and Dolphins. Great matchups and No.1 for RBs from Weeks 15-17. I might actually be completely changing my tune on Brown as a buy candidate for those hurting at RB – even if this week is rough.
Per the FantasyPros SOS tool, the Bengals have the No.1 schedule remaining for RBs. Also No. 1 schedule for QBs. Add Joe Flacco.
Noah Fant has been a floor player in every game he’s played in full this season, with at least 3-plus receptions for 26-plus yards.
Went 4-44-1 on four targets from Joe Flacco in Week 7. Without Mike Gesicki or Tanner Hudson, Fant hit season-highs in yards, snaps (68%) and routes (71%).
And don’t forget…that Flacco overlapped with Fant during the tight end’s rookie season in Denver back in 2019. Wild times.
Now for the star with stats provided by Next Gen Stats…
Joe Flacco completed 28 of 37 passes for 336 yards and 3 touchdowns from a clean pocket in the Bengals Week 7 win against the Steelers, the most passing yards in a clean pocket for Flacco since Week 4 of 2018 (vs Steelers, 338 yards).
Flacco was pressured on a season-low 24.5% of his dropbacks while averaging a time to throw of 2.44 seconds, his quickest this season. On quick throws (under 2.5 seconds), Flacco was 21 of 31 for 222 yards, including all three of his touchdown passes. When facing pressure, Flacco finished with just 3 completions across 10 pass attempts for only 6 yards.
Watching this game live, I was amazed at how much time Flacco had to throw. I don’t know if the OL didn’t like Jake Browning or not…but he did not nearly have as much time as Flacco has had these last two weeks.
In Week 6…According to Next Gen Stats, Joe Flacco was pressured on just 26.1% of dropbacks, lower than the mark as the Browns’ starter this season.
But like in Week 7, he struggled under pressure.
The Bengals’ recipe for success has been getting the ball out lightning-quick. Flacco’s 2.31 average time to throw is the lowest among all QBs in the last two games. As a result, Flacco has been pressured on just 26% of his dropbacks (6th-lowest among all QBs) since joining Cincy.
My season-long concern is if the Bengals’ offensive line struggles in certain matchups…that could bottom this offense. Flacco can operate from a clean pocket, but not a broken one.
But when you look at the schedule…Cincy plays zero defenses that are inside the top-10 in pressure rate. And the two highest-ranked pressure teams are the Packers/Steelers – the teams they have already held up against.
I listed Ja’Marr Chase as my “sell-high” trade two weeks ago. Naturally.. I don’t feel great about how well he played.
According to Next Gen Stats, Chase was targeted 25 times in the Bengals’ Week 6 win, tied for the most in a game since 2016, catching 16 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.
At least I listed him as a hold last week…
Ja'Marr Chase vs the Steelers
25 targets.
17-game target pace with Joe Flacco
332 targets.
Bruh.
— Andrew Erickson™ (@AndrewErickson_) October 17, 2025
There’s no denying that the Flacco acquisition is a major positive for Chase and this offense – although I don’t think this will be his box score every single week (also said this last week and couldn’t have been more wrong).
To my credit (please let me have this), I more than acknowledged that Chase would still have productive weeks, but there’s still some risk with a 40-year-old QB behind an OL that has struggled at times this season.
But as I have outlined…the schedule doesn’t look imposing enough for this to completely get derailed for the Bengals offense (injuries aside).
So after last week, when I listed Chase as a sell/hold…I think I’m more on the buy/hold side now. I know that I expressed enough concern with Flacco long-term that other fantasy managers might feel the same, creating an opportunity to buy.
Chase has a week-winning ceiling, and that could be deadly in the fantasy playoffs.
Doesn’t hurt to do a price check on Chase. Tee Higgins less so – as I think his production will be extremely volatile – whereas the Bengals offense runs through Chase.

Cleveland Browns
Buy Harold Fannin
According to Next Gen Stats…Quinshon Judkins rushed 15 times for 69 yards and 3 touchdowns from jumbo sets (6+ OL) in the Browns’ Week 7 win over the Dolphins.
The Browns used an extra lineman on 22 of 52 plays overall (40.9%), the highest rate by any team in a game this season. Judkins became the first player since the start of 2022 to score three rushing touchdowns from jumbo in a game and gained the 3rd-most rushing yards from jumbo of any player this season. Despite the Browns frequently aligning their swing tackle to the left, Judkins totaled 83 yards and all 3 of his touchdowns on 15 carries to the right side of the formation, compared to just 1 yard on 10 rushes to the left.
Judkins also scored two of his 3 TDs on direct snaps.
He was a buy-low after a terrible game because Miami’s run defense is historically bad.
Tougher spot next week vs the Patriots’ run defense on the road. If you want to sell high…this would be the time to do so. However, the talent has been so good – I would have to be blown away by an offer.
Rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr.led the team in targets (5, 28% target share) but just went 4 for 36. Nobody else had more than 2 catches. Remains a usable TE given the David Njoku injury.
Keep in mind that Fannin ran a route on 85% of the dropbacks. Both his route participation and target shares were season-highs with Njoku out.
The Browns also lost DE, Adin Huntington, in this game.

Dallas Cowboys
Buy Javonte Williams | Sell George Pickens
Javonte Williams rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
Specifically, he gained 75 yards and 2 explosive runs on eight carries to the left (9.4 YPC), compared to just 41 yards with a touchdown on 11 carries to the right (3.7 YPC). Additionally, Williams tied his career-high with 7 forced missed tackles in the game, while gaining 45 yards after those missed tackles, the 4th-most in a single game in his career (via Next Gen Stats).
I like the schedule upcoming for Williams (revenge game @ DEN, and home vs ARI) before a Week 10 bye week.
Williams ranks 12th in rushing success rate this season. He is also PFF’s third-highest graded RB.
CeeDee Lamb caught 5 of 8 targets for a team-high 100 yards and a touchdown, while playing on 77.4% of the Cowboys’ offensive snaps (48 of 62) in his first game back from an ankle injury suffered in Week 3 (Next Gen Stats).
He was most efficient operating out of the slot, as he was targeted on 4 of 11 routes and totaled 3 receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a 74-yard touchdown on his lone deep target, his first deep touchdown reception since Week 8, 2024 against the 49ers (via Next Gen Stats).
George Pickens was still very productive in Lamb’s return (4-82) on seven targets…with more highlight-reel plays.
However, his target share dipped to 20% with Lamb back. His 6 targets were the third fewest in a game this season (the other two being games that Lamb also played in at 12% and 18%). There will be times where Pickens doesn’t come down with the 50/50 contested sideline throws…and that could leave fantasy managers frustrated (4th in fantasy points scored ABOVE expectation this season).
Talked about him as a sell-high last week with Lamb returning…and I still think that is the right move to make. Obviously, it’s not worth peanuts…but for a strong return after he went for over 80 yards on just six targets.
The Broncos are also up next…and that means we should see a decent chunk of Patrick Surtain on Pickens.
Dallas also took another hit to their run defense…with NT Kenny Clark suffering an elbow injury.

Denver Broncos
Add Evan Engram & Troy Franklin/Marvin Mims | Buy RJ Harvey | Hold/Sell J.K. Dobbins
JK Dobbins rushed 14 times for 81 yards (50% snaps), whereas R.J. Harvey blanked on four carries. The rookie did score a receiving TD from the 2-yard line.
Both Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin had 10 targets.
Sutton (6-87) and Franklin (3-19-1) both also converted on 2-point after attempts. Franklin caught his TD off a deflection and commanded 147 incomplete air yards (42% air yards share).
Marvin Mims (6-85) and Evan Engram (5-42 on 8 targets) were also involved in the comeback win.
Engram finally saw good usage – running a route on 71% of the dropbacks (by far a season-high). So after seeing strong receiving numbers, the usage also followed.
Note that OL Mike McGlinchey did get hurt in this game.
Regardless, great matchup on deck for all these Denver pass-catchers to be used with six teams on bye.
It should be another good spot for Dobbins as well to smash. And because the Dallas defense is so bad…I still like buying low on Harvey. His explosive skill set might be required in a shootout versus Dallas.
But after that… the schedule gets tougher. And the playoff schedule is also not great (GB, JAX, KC).
Dobbins might be a sharp sell because if Denver falls into a negative game script, he might be cooked against Dallas. He was at just 7 carries for 18 yards in the first half versus the Giants. Dobbins salvaged his outing with a long 31-yard rush.
Dobbins is just RB28 in XPPG this season due to his lack of receiving role.

— Woodward Sports Network (@woodwardsports) October 21, 2025
Managers will drop him over the bye week. Add the upside for free.
According to Next Gen Stats…
Montgomery was my big “sell” two weeks ago game. And I hope you did because he laid another dud on prime time. I’ve been talking about this throughout my articles this season, but he is seeing significantly less work under new OC Jon Morton.
Monty played 44% of the snaps (29 snaps). It was his second-highest rate of the season. 13 carries was also second-highest (just 4 in the first half). But zero came in the red zone.

Green Bay Packers
Buy Josh Jacobs | Hold Matthew Golden
S/O to the “Are They Playing Tool” on FantasyPros. The tool said Josh Jacobs had an 88% chance of playing in Week 7, and he suited up. Two more TDs for the Packers RB1.
Tucker Kraft and Rome Doubs led the way in targets for the Pack.
Kraft (5-58-1) on a team-high 10 targets. Doubs (6-72) with a 61% air yards share.
Matthew Golden started hot, but then fizzled out as the game progressed (4-37). 3 catches on the first drive. Classic Packers WR usage. Don’t get too excited about your super-talented young players.
With Christian Watson potentially returning next week, this could be problematic for Golden to carve out a reliable fantasy role. And after last week when he was used more downfield…this week he was used closer to the LOS.
Remember, after last week’s game, HC Matt LaFleur spoke about finding ways to get Golden the ball…with the caveat that they won’t “force feed” anybody despite what everybody desires.
Boom-or-bust. But at least he has a full-time role (84% route rate in Week 7). Hold.
Note that Dontayvion Wicks also got hurt in this game (after getting hurt last week as well).
Buy Josh Jacobs. One of the easiest schedules for ROS. He is PFF’s second-highest graded RB this season.
Add Emanuel Wilson as his handcuff in deeper formats.
I should note that the Packers’ defense suffered more injuries. Quay Walker got hurt.

Houston Texans
Hold Woody Marks | Add Jaylin Noel | Drop C.J. Stroud
The Woody Marks breakout DID continue after the Texans’ bye week. He played 63% of the snaps to Nick Chubb‘s 25%.
Both guys are were abysmal as rushers – Texans offensive line versus Seahawks defensive line was a brutal matchup – with neither guy surpassing 16 rushing yards. Marks had 10 carries for 15 yards. Woof.
But Marks made his day as a receiver…3-20-1 on five targets.
The rookie RB has been terrible on the ground this season ranking dead last in rushing success rate (24%). Not all on him as Chubb also ranks bottom-10.
But Marks is getting the high-value opportunities – which matters the most for fantasy football. 3 goal-line carries in the last two games. Season-high in routes in Week 7.
He will have to take advantage of those high-value touches to overcome tough matchups versus the 49ers/Broncos the next two games.
Nico Collins had a terrible game. They tried to get him going with quick hitters – Joe Flacco Bengals playbook – but it was unsuccessful. Collins also suffered a concussion in the second half. Would expect him to miss Week 8.
With him out – Dalton Schultz becomes a priority tight end target. 9-98 on 10 targets. The 49ers can’t stop tight ends without Fred Warner.
As for the remaining WRs – Xavier Hutchinson played the most snaps. But we know his ceiling his limited.
Jaylin Noel was the one Texan WR who popped in this game, catching four of 7 targets for 77 yards – 28% target rate. He was used heavily downfield with 5 targets of 10-plus air yards (33% air yards share).
Season-highs across the board out of the bye week. Prefer him over his rookie teammate, Jayden Higgins.
Just don’t go overboard with Noel – as Christian Kirk return could pour cold water on his value for Week 8.

Add Josh Downs & Alec Pierce
Jonathan Taylor rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries, his third game this season with three rushing touchdowns.
Taylor averaged 2.6 yards before contact per carry, his most this season, while posting a 56.3% rushing success rate, also his highest mark of the season (Next Gen Stats).
Alec Pierce was the Colts’ leading WR with Josh Downs out due to a concussion. 10 targets and five catches for 98 yards (29% target share). 152 incomplete air yards (695 air yards share).
Michael Pittman was second with 9 targets (7-58-1). He’s a revelation in the red zone…with a two-point conversion. All he needed was Daniel Jones to unlock his TD upside. Go figure.
Tyler Warren also scored (4-69-1).
Colts defense got banged up here…with two injuries on their DL between Samson Ebukam and Tyquan Lewis.
Downs is a very good player and had been turning it on in the last couple of games. 6-42-1 on seven targets (4 RZ targets, 23% target share) in Week 6.
Super high grade per PFF. Back-to-back weeks leading WRs in targets. Add him if he was dropped with his concussion.
Adonai Mitchell was a healthy scratch in Week 6. He played in Week 7…but was in a limited role.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Sell Travis Etienne | Hold Travis Hunter | Sell/Hold Brian Thomas Jr.
Tough day at the overseas office for the Jags.
From the jump, they looked like the team that arrived in London fewer than 48 hours before kickoff (that was the Rams).
Per Next Gen Stats, Trevor Lawrence completed 23 of his 48 pass attempts for 296 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ loss to the Rams.
Lawrence targeted in-breaking routes on 41.7% of his passes but completed only 9 of 20 for 142 yards (-16.7% CPOE). When the Rams used split safety coverages, Lawrence completed 7 of 19 for 96 yards, while against single-high coverages Lawrence completed 16 of 29 for 200 yards and a touchdown.
Travis Hunter was the WR who stepped up the most because every other WR seemed to be dealing with an injury at one point or another.
Brian Thomas Jr., Tim Patrick and Dyami Brown all got banged up. Parker Washington had 10 targets.
Regardless, Hunter was the focal point of the offensive game plan, while remaining a complete afterthought on defense.
#FFIDP – Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter in Week 7:
Hunter played 87% of the offensive snaps this week, running 90% of possible routes.
Hunter played just 19% of the team's defensive snaps, as the focus for him this week was offense…and it worked!
1st career TD and… pic.twitter.com/7pIDWrxj9b
— Jon Macri (@PFF_Macri) October 19, 2025
According to Next Gen Stats…Hunter caught eight of his 14 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown, all career highs, against the Rams (also 3 red-zone targets).
From the slot, Hunter caught seven of eight targets for 90 yards, including his 34-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. Hunter was more efficient against zone coverage, catching 6 of 10 targets for 51 yards, but more explosive against man coverage, catching 2 of 4 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. Playing 12 snaps on defense, Hunter had one pass defensed while matched up against Davante Adams.
Listed him as a sell/hold last week – noting I’d only part ways if I was blown away with an offer. That’s because his route participations marked a season-high in Week 6. And his route depth increased back to Week 5 levels – so he was actually being used as a short-area target.
Now begs the question… do they keep him on offense after this breakout game…or put him on defense after that unit just got COOKED by the Rams?
The answer might be both. Play full-time both ways.
Even before Thomas’ injury…this was a bad game. More drops over the middle – and a struggle connecting with T-Law.
3-31 on eight targets. Just seems like it’s one step forward, two steps back with BTJ this season. With him also dealing with an injury heading into a bye week, you might be able to trade him away. At this point, I think the only think we can bank on for BTJ is some high highs and low lows. If you can flip him and sell for a decent return, I think you should. But selling low with an injured player on a bye week seems like a bad process play. Hold for now unless you can package him away.
Thomas also the Jets/Broncos in the fantasy playoffs. Tough matchups even if he was playing well. Bottom-10 schedule rest of season for WRs.
This year, Thomas is scoring the 4th-fewest points compared to expectation (ahead of him are Jerry Jeudy, Isaiah Bond and Malik Washington). He also has a bottom-20 PFF grade through 7 weeks.
Travis Etienne was bottled up for the third straight game. 8 for 44 yards on just 54% of the snaps. Been talking about his fall off in efficiency, tough schedule and potential for a healthy Bhayshul Tuten to seize a larger role. All of these things are starting to become very apparent for Etienne’s fantasy value. Remains a sell with the Jags hitting their bye week. Schedule is bottom-7 ROS for RBs and in the playoffs.
I’ve talked about Etienne as a sell…and the tougher matchups he has had are hurting his production (although his efficiency was better in Week 7 with center Robert Hainsey back in the lineup).
The Jags schedule doesn’t get much easier after the BYE, Raiders, and Texans in the next month.

Sell Travis Kelce | Hold Xavier Worthy | Add Brashard Smith
So, what about Rashee Rice?
Basically, the best-case outcome was in his debut.
Played 39% snaps (was a blowout and starters pulled) and 11 targets (no one else had more than 5).
Rice caught seven of his 11 targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns on only 17routes in his 2025 debut (29% target share).
Rice led the Chiefs in targets, receptions and touchdowns, with all of his receiving production coming under 10 air yards. Rice matched up against linebackers Devin White and Elandon Roberts seven times – he was targeted on four of those seven routes for three receptions, 29 yards and a touchdown (Next Gen Stats).
Rice had 6-36-2 on 9 targets in the first half alone. No WR/TE had more than three first-half targets.
Full BOAR INDEED.
According to Next Gen Stats…Despite having Rice, Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy available for the first time this season, the Chiefs played less 11 personnel against the Raiders (48.1%) than their season average entering Week 7 (50.4%).
It was Worthy (44 snaps, 57% playtime) who was the only Chiefs wideout to play more than 40% of snaps on the day. With their full gambit of targets available for Mahomes, nine different Chiefs players caught a pass, with seven gaining 25 or more receiving yards.
But the alpha was clearly Rice above all. He had four targets inside the 6-yard line.
So yeah…Xavier Worthy. Think you got to sell. Just 3-5 on four targets. Same with Travis Kelce…who only saw three targets.
I don’t think Worthy will be this bad all year – clear emphasis on getting Rice the ball in his first game back, etc., and it was a blowout. In shoot-out games, his speed can still be used. You’ll get nothing moving him now… so he’s better to hold and flip at a later date and time. Good WR matchups coming up vs WAS/BUF.
Worthy might weekly run the most routes attached to Patrick Mahomes. That has fantasy appeal.
Kareem Hunt also got banged up briefly in this game.
But it was still a stand-out performance for Isiah Pacheco. TG.
15 carries (season-high) for 57 yards and 1 TD. 8 carries in the first half alone.
Brashard Smith also had 14 carries for 39 yards. Smith’s receiving role is stable in KC’s offense – 5 for 5 for 42 yards – but most of his carries came in garbage time. He had one carry in the first half, but also had four targets.
Monitor Chiefs OL as well…Jawaan Taylor and Trey Smith both git hurt in this game,
DT Omarr Norman-Lott, their second rounder this year, suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season.

Buy Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers | Add/Hold Tre Tucker
Welp, so much for the Raiders playing close against the Chiefs. Total blow-out, not much to take away here.
Tre Tucker (5-33 on 6 targets) was the leading receiver with Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers out.
I think there’s a strong chance that Meyers gets traded. Hold for now on fantasy benches.
Jack Bech played a bigger role as well. But Michael Mayer bombed with just one catch for 10 yards.
The Raiders also lost DT Adam Butler and pass rusher Maxx Crosby (not expected to be serious).
This team desperately needs its bye week.
So the advice remains the same as last week.
The Raiders – per the SOS tool – have a top-3 ROS schedule for fantasy RBs. It’s not perfect, but there are some decent spots for a three-down workhorse like Jeanty who ranks 8th in the NFL in total touches. RB16/17 in XPGG and FPPG.
However I will admit that this really does need to be a buy-low. The Broncos x2, Eagles and Texans aren’t ideal – even if the Chargers/Cowboys/Giants are fantastic.
Per the SOS tool…Raiders have No. 1 schedule for RBs in the fantasy playoffs. Although being fully transparent – at the Eagles/Texans aren’t amazing matchups even if they are plus-spots on paper.
Buy Jeanty. Advice from last week was literally…”Wait until Jeanty underwhelms on the road vs KC…and then go buy.”
The earliest we could see Brock Bowers is right after the bye week.
Gotten a lot of questions regarding Bowers…and I think he is worth kicking the tires on if you are just streaming tight ends.
He can be a difference-maker when healthy. Anybody in fantasy that can be a true difference-maker can be a needle-mover. If he can do his best Puka Nacua impression from last season…make a move. Chances are, the Bowers manager has a losing record and would be willing to sell for pennies on the dollar.
Pete Carroll was less than optimistic about Bowers’ chances to return this week, noting that his long-term health is what is most important.
Note the Raiders have a tough schedule for QBs ROS – No. 32 per FP SOS tool.

Add Oronde Gadsden | Buy Ladd McConkey
Quentin Johnston picked up a DPI call on a deep target from Justin Herbert. But he was a massive letdown after missing last week. 2-30-1 on 6 targets.
Meanwhile, Ladd McConkey had 15 targets (9-67, 27%), Keenan Allen had 14 targets (11-119-1), while rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden exploded for 164 yards on 7 catches (9 targets).
Second game in a row that Gadsden COOKED.
Last week, he went 7-68 on eight targets (3 in RZ). He’s popped several games this season – Week 4 posted a 47% target rate per route run – and the usage was very strong in Week 6 and the production followed in Week 7. His routes (77%) and snaps also continue to climb.
Gadsden has hung a 14-232-1 line on 17 targets over the last two games
Again, a lot of these Chargers are going to see boosted levels of production with QJ out (crazy, right?). But among the rookies, Gadsden has been head and shoulders above the other rookie WRs. Add TE-eligibility to the mix and bang. Cooking with GAS.
Ladd didn’t score despite 3 RZ targets (all three in the end zone) and 113 incomplete air yards (34% air yard share). How he didn’t go even more nuclear is beyond me. But the second-year WR is starting to close the gap on his two teammates. That makes him a buy for me. Especially with the Vikings up next….
Their defense is COOKED from the slot. McConkey saw 11 targets from the slot last week.
And Ladd checks off all the boxes through 7 games of a WR you NEED to buy. Reminds me a lot of Jaxon Smith-Njigba from last season.
- JSN through 7 games in 2024…led NFL in routes run (and slot routes). Top-10 in targets/catches. Underperforming versus expected points (-20.4). Saw boosted production with an eventual teammate injury (Metcalf).
- McConkey through 7 games in 2025…leads NFL in routes run (and 2nd in slot routes). Top-10 in targets/catches. Underperforming versus expected points per game (-13.4). Saw boosted production with a teammate injury (QJ).
Kimani Vidal was quiet. 9 for 20 rushing and 4 catches for 15 yards in 5 targets. Still was clearly ahead of Hassan Haskins with a 65% snap rate. Haskins may also not be 100% healthy.

— Daniel Popper (@danielrpopper) October 20, 2025
Vidal also saw 5 more RZ opps. They trust him in the RZ. But he just won’t play the Dolphins every week.

Los Angeles Rams
Add Blake Corum | Hold Kyren Williams
No Puka? No problem.
Matthew Stafford completed 13 of his 19 pass attempts against the blitz for 97 yards and 5 touchdowns in the Rams’ Week 7 win over the Jaguars (Next Gen Stats).
Stafford’s five touchdowns against the blitz are tied for the most in a game by a quarterback in the NGS era (since 2016). Stafford was also exceptional when using play-action, completing 14 of 15 attempts for 146 yards and 3 touchdowns (+28.9% CPOE).
Davante Adams caught five of his eight targets for 35 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ win over the Jaguars in London.
Adams scored all three of his touchdowns from within the 2-yard line, with all three against different cornerbacks – Montaric Brown, Greg Newsome II and Jourdan Lewis (NGS). Adams predominantly faced Brown (9 routes) and Newsome (7 routes), with 3 of 5 receptions and 32 of 35 yards coming against Newsome, a recent trade acquisition from the Browns.
My WR1 for Week 7 delivered. That’s why we chase red-zone targets, folks.
However, the expectation is that Nacua will return after the bye week.
So don’t chase the tight end usage for LA.
They used more TEs with Nacua out, which hurt WRs like Jordan Whittington (4 targets) and Tutu Atwell (1 target that drew a DPI).
The Rams utilized 13 personnel (1 RB, 3 TEs) on 38.7% of their offensive plays in Week 7, the highest usage rate by an offense in the Next Gen Stats era (since 2016).
Tyler Higbee seems like the front-runner at tight end (6 targets), but he’s marginal at best.
As for the backfield, it was a split day between Kyren Williams (60% snaps) and Blake Corum. Both has 12 carries despite the Rams playing with a strong lead.
Corum didn’t seem to be limited by his injury last week. 6 of Corum’s carries came on Matthew Stafford‘s last drive (Williams had one carry on this drive). Both guys also drew 3 red-zone opportunities (Corum actually seeing more goal-line carries than Kyren).
Kyren is still RB1, but Corum will continue to mix in. High-end handcuff option, which I would make sure to keep on benches if Williams were on my roster.
It’s also not a “take over” in effect, but just a usage note that Corum has a weekly role in the Rams offense and might eat into Williams’ production at times. Makes Williams more of a “hold” than a true buy/sell.

Miami Dolphins
Add Malik Washington | Sell Darren Waller
I had a strong feeling this game would be a blowout loss for the Dolphins.
Tua Tagovailoa threw three picks and just 100 yards. The Browns defense is no joke at home. Add bad weather and this is the result. They will be indoors next weekend, but it will be against a stingy Falcons’ defense.
Darren Waller‘s issue has never been about ability. It’s about availability. And unfortunately, the injuries reared their ugly head for the Dolphins TE in Week 7, when he left with a pectoral injury after a goose egg.
De’Von Achane directed 12 of his 13 carries outside the tackles, gaining 79 yards (+35 over expected) on outside runs (Next Gen Stats).
Before Darren Waller was injured, Achane rushed 5 times for 81 yards, including +62 yards over expected from 22 personnel (2 RB, 2 TE). He gained the most rushing yards from 22 personnel by any player this season, with all of them coming in the first half. Achane’s eight attempts from other personnel groupings went for 1 yard (-29 over expected) – via Next Gen Stats.
Malik Washington also got hurt (but he did return). It was a strong game for him, 5-30 on 8 targets. With no downfield game working, it makes sense. Washington was more involved as a receiver near the LOS (low ADOT). Also had another RZ target.
Jaylen Waddle could have only been so lucky. (1-15 on 4 targets). Predictably dud. However, don’t go buying low just yet….got hurt toward the end of the game. Monitor his status.
PFF’s 12th-highest graded WR this season. He’s been fantastic outside this game since Tyreek Hill‘s injury. Buy low; however, buy cautiously. The Dolphins are in a weird spot with their HC and QB. If Tua gets benched…that hurts Waddle.

Minnesota Vikings
Hold/Sell Jordan Mason | Buy Justin Jefferson | Sell Jordan Addison
Justin Jefferson caught 1 of 3 targets for just 10 yards across 20 matchups against Quinyon Mitchell in Week 7.
Mitchell matched up with Jefferson in man coverage 13 times and forced 2 tight windows overall. Entering Week 7, no cornerback had matched up with Jefferson more than 8 times in a single game. Against all other Eagles defenders, Jefferson caught 4 of 7 targets for 69 yards.
The Vikings WR1 ended the game with 101 incomplete air yards (28% air yards share).
Still finished with 79 yards on five receptions (10 targets).
Jordan Mason was solid in a tougher matchup – 15 for 57 and 1 TD – without Aaron Jones. Earned a 76% snap rate. Note that Zavier Scott suffered a wrist injury.
Jones might come back soon (eligible for Week 8 return). Put Mason on the block and see if you can get any decent returns. But if you must hold, that’s fine given the Week 8 matchup vs the Chargers and the Vikings OL getting healthy. It’s also a short week with Minnesota playing on Thursday.
Jalen Nailor had a TD called back and drew two end-zone targets.
Jordan Addison ATE again. 9-128 on 12 targets (4 RZ targets). Addison has been unreal, ranking 8th in FPPG in three starts this season with Wentz – averaging 94 receiving yards per game.
Both Vikings WRs this season rank 6th and 7th, respectively, in XFPPG. The only reason they haven’t been better is because Minnesota has struggled in the red zone (like last season). 20th last year and 20th this season.
T.J. Hockenson went 6-43 on 9 targets. Had a TD called back on review (3 total RZ targets).
The Vikings playmakers have performed at an extremely high level with Carson Wentz under center.
Jefferson has averaged over 100 receiving yards per game with Wentz as this QB.
But Minnesota’s not winning games because of Wentz…and that creates potential issues with J.J. McCarthy coming back (Week 9).
When buying/selling, it’s about believing in the player. Obviously, Jefferson is a top-5 real-life WR. So, if you can “buy” that player…I think it’s worth it. Even if the game splits suggest that Wentz is better for McCarthy…I think the QB that gives the Vikings the best chance to win…should ultimately help Jefferson in fantasy circles. McCarthy’s still a very small sample size…and I still want to believe in the Kevin O’Connell offense.
Eighth in the NFL in target share (28%). 12th in air yards share (40%). 16th in PPG. He continues to get it done in this offense regardless of the QB.
Solid stretch of matchups as the fantasy playoffs come into play for the Vikings. Top-10 schedule rest of season for WRs.
That being said, it would seem Addison, as the Vikings’ No. 2 WR, would take the biggest hit if there is any downgrade with J.J. McCarthy back under center.
I think you can still wait a week to do this, though – my “sells” on Thursday nights have been BLOWING up as of late, so Addison is going nuclear in potentially Wentz’s final start.
Wentz is also not a “lock” to play based on his own health (shoulder injury).

Sell Rhamondre Stevenson | Buy Stefon Diggs | Add Kayshon Boutte | Hold TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson barely played. This was the Rhamondre Stevenson show.
Per Next Gen Stats…Rhamondre Stevenson totaled 88 rushing yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in Week 7 against the Titans, recording his most rushing yards over expected in a game since Week 5 of last season (+30).
Stevenson also posted season highs in rushing yards before (32) and after contact (56).
Per Michael Florio:
- Rhamondre Stevenson: 77% snaps, 18 carries, 2 targets (88 yds, TD)
- TreVeyon Henderson: 14% snaps, 2 carries, 4 routes, 0 targets (5 yds)
Watching this game live, you would have thought Henderson was either hurt or benched.
But his was rock-bottom for the rookie. Still think he’s a hold in deeper formats (rookies always have bigger roles in the second halves of seasons).
I also think this is a prime time to sell high on Stevenson. Browns are next (brutal matchup). And I still have serious trust issues with Stevenson ROS. The Falcons, Buccaneers and Jets.
But in the playoffs – Pats have Bills/Ravens/Jets. If Henderson can just hit during this three-week stretch he can salvage his rookie campaign.
Kayshon Boutte stole the show with more chunk gains (29.5 air yards per target) as the Pats’ most explosive WR.
However, Stefon Diggs was still the target leader – catching all 7 of his balls for 69 yards (29% target share).
He has been hyper-efficient this season. And despite Drake Maye tossing multiple TDs every week…Diggs has STILL not scored.
Continue to BUY. Last three weeks…Diggs has a 30% target share (top-5). PFF’s 7th-highest graded WR this season. Buy. Buy. Buy.

Sell Alvin Kamara | Sell Juwan Johnson
A lot of injuries for the Saints.
Erik McCoy (tear) and Kendre Miller both got hurt. Miller will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
But despite that, Alvin Kamara was very ineffective. 11 carries for 28 yards in Week 7. Just three catches for 1 yard. And he played a whopping 85% of the snaps – 14 touches for 29 yards. Woof.
Kamara has been adamant about not being traded, so he’s stuck on the Saints. Remains a sell-high even with the Miller injury.
Use that as a reason to ship Kamara off for a decent return.
He’s PFF’s 5th-lowest graded RB this season. Only Chase Brown has scored more points under expectation than Kamara.
He should be RB16. He’s instead RB32.
Not to mention, the schedule gets much tougher over the next few weeks.
And the Saints are expected to have Devin Neal fill a larger role in Miller’s absence.
Kellen Moore said on Monday via Louisiana Sports…
“His role obviously will increase quite a bit moving forward,” head coach Kellen Moore said of Neal on Monday. “I think he can do all aspects of the run game, pass game, protections. We’re going to count on him moving forward.”
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, at Los Angeles Rams and at Carolina Panthers.
Chris Olave had a ceiling game though…with 5-98-2 on seven targets.
Finally, the XFPs are turning into REAL points.
Although Rashid Shaheed led the way with 9 targets, followed by Juwan Johnson (7 targets),
Johnson’s role didn’t really change, though. Snaps were actually a season-low (71%). He gained 34 yards on the Saints’ final drive down two scores. Don’t chase.
Shaheed saw over 100 incomplete air yards and a 28% target share.
Taysom Hill played 9 snaps on offense. Two carries and two catches. And another lateral play. Either way, Miller’s injury could open the door for more Taysom Hill carries.

Hold Cam Skattebo | Add Theo Johnson
Tyrone Tracy was more involved this week than in Week 6 (38% snap share). Nine carries for 46 yards with a rushing TD. But essentially all of his production came on one 31-yard carry that went for the score.
Cam Skattebo was still productive with over 100 yards from scrimmage and a receiving TD.
Wan’Dale Robinson remained Giants WR1 – 6-95 – with 12 targets (15 targets with flags included).
Theo Johnson scored again, going 3-66 on seven targets. And once again, he played all the snaps.
The Giants also lost safety Jevon Holland. Paulson Adebo also got banged up.
Brian Burns was seen in a walking boot post-game.
Their defense is banged up…which will force this offense to make more plays.
The Giants were also without starting center John Michael Schmitz due to a concussion; TBD on his status for Week 8.
There are also rumors that the Giants might be in the market for a WR. Chris Olave was mentioned as a possible target.

New York Jets
Buy Breece Hall | Add/Hold Mason Taylor
Justin Fields got benched for Tyrod Taylor.
Breece Hall also got banged up but returned to the game. Even so, more of the same dysfunctional Jets.
Hall was kept in check – 11 for 38 yards rushing – as the offense couldn’t move the ball through the air without Garrett Wilson.
The Bengals are up next…so this run game should get going. And there’s a chance Hall gets traded to a contender. Buy low now.
Josh Reynolds seeing nine targets is not a recipe for success. He also bogarted 44% of the team’s air yards (136 incomplete air yards).
Rookie WR Arian Smith was the other full-time WR for the Jets.
Mason Taylor caught just 3 for 31 on five targets, beyond tilting.
With Tyrod Taylor at QB…Taylor saw all five targets.
But trust the process. The Bengals cannot stop tight ends. Stream Taylor this week.
Fields’ favorite target before being benched was Isaiah Davis (4) – who also played 48% of the snaps.
Aaron Glenn did not commit to a starting quarterback for the team’s next game.
With Taylor in the second half, NY gave Hall two carries. Much more reliant on the pass despite the score being just 10-3. They called 23 consecutive passing plays.
Cornerback Sauce Gardner is in the concussion protocol.
But it’s possible that Garrett Wilson returns after being close last week.

Moves to Make: Sell Eagles WRs & Saquon Barkley
DeVonta Smith recorded a career-high 183 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine receptions, with most of his production coming on downfield passes (10+ air yards).
Smith was targeted 6 times downfield, catching 5 of those targets for 163 yards and a touchdown; 107 of those yards came on deep receptions (20+ air yards).
I was very vehement about ranking Smith over AJ Brown this week.
Little did I know, they’d both smash.
Brown only had four catches on six targets, but he converted them into 121 yards and two TDs.
Dallas Goedert was left out of the fun with just 3-18.
So my “SELL EAGLES WRs” take from last week did not age well. Essence of spoiled milk.
Jalen Hurts was dicing up the Vikings’ secondary deep – completing all 5 of his deep passes of 20+ air yards for 215 yards and three touchdowns against the Vikings.
Per Next Gen Stats…His 215 deep passing yards are 63 more than he’s had in any other career game and the second-most of any quarterback this season. Hurts completed 11 of 14 passes against the Vikings’ blitz for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Hurts finished the day with a perfect 158.3 passer rating.
However, we know how hot-and-cold the Eagles’ passing game can be. You want out? Here’s your chance. This specific performance with Hurts as a deep ball passer likely won’t be repeated.
The Eagles’ inconsistent passing game creates a shaky floor for at least one of these three pass-catchers every week. These dud games are always going to be possible in the current way the Eagles offense is constructed. Once they boom, I think you have to flip.
Note that Brown had one catch in the first half (just happened to go for a 37-yard TD).
However, moving on from Saquon Barkley…that looks like a decent call now from last week.
Just 44 yards despite 18 carries. He was checked for an injury but returned.
Tank Bigsby played ahead of AJ Dillon, so it seems like he would be the handcuff. But it’s not the same amazing situation it’s been in past seasons. Also, Will Shipley would play a role (16% snap share in Week 7).
The Eagles’ offensive line took another hit with Cam Jurgens getting banged up and leaving the game.
Keep Barkley on the trade block. He hasn’t been the same guy as last season. The Eagles’ OL has regressed.
Barkley is 5th-worst in rushing success rate this season (34.5%).
Bottom-10 PFF rushing grade.
The Eagles’ defense also had a lot of injuries…Azeez Ojulari, Jeremiah Trotter, Adoree Jackson, etc.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Sell/Hold Jaylen Warren | Buy/Hold DK Metcalf
Jaylen Warren was the Steelers’ RB1 in a plus-matchup. 67% snap share.
Per Next Gen Stats…Warren posted a 62.5% rushing success rate against the Bengals, the 3rd-highest mark of his career (min. 10 carries).
Warren forced six missed tackles in the contest, generating 66 yards after contact on those plays, a career-high mark in missed-tackle yardage. Warren has maintained a 40.0% missed tackle forced rate this season, ranking 2nd among all running backs with at least 25 carries.
Kenneth Gainwell was barely used, drawing just three carries on Thursday night. But his snap share was essentially the same as Week 6 (35% to 37%).
Warren also reclaimed pass-catching duties, commanding 4-31 on five targets.
However, the fact that Gainwell was still lurking somewhat concerns me for Warren in future matchups.
Warren is seventh in rushing success rate this season – but Gainwell is ahead at fourth overall (50%).
With rookie Kaleb Johnson also a potentially second-half factor, this is your PRIME sell-high window for Warren AFTER a prime-time smash matchup versus the Bengals.
That being said, if you can’t get anything solid for him…just hold. The Packers are tough this week, but the schedule gets easy again (with some plus spots in the fantasy playoffs).
Still, I don’t love selling Warren for pennies because I do think he’s been solid this year. But I do fear a committee might happen.
We also had a MONSTER game for tight end Pat Freiermuth. His role had been reduced in past matchups with the Steelers’ desire for heavy personnel sets.
But versus the Bengals – worst defense versus tight ends – the MUTH and all the Steelers TEs scored.
I point that out because you do not want to chase this production. Jonnu Smith still ran the most routes on the Steelers and saw the same number of targets as Freiermuth. Darnell Washington also saw five targets. It’s still a three-way committee for the Steelers TEs, and the usage is going to change based on opponent.
Case in point…Freiermuth scored more fantasy points on his 68-yard touchdown than he had in the entire season entering Thursday night.
I listed DK Metcalf as a sell before the bye week. Right after the bye, I was eating the L.
But he did have a down game here versus the Bengals with the TEs feasting.
Still, Metcalf went three for 50 on five targets with more deep targets. Two games following the bye week…Metcalf is averaging over 16 air yards per target. It was below 8.5 before the Week 5 bye week.
Although I want to keep tabs on this if/when Calvin Austin returns (not likely this week), in Weeks 1-4, Austin ranked 4th in the NFL in air yards share.
Even so…Metcalf’s usage is trending in the right direction for his ROS outlook. The Packers are a good matchup for him in Week 8. And the fact that he is only competing with TEs for targets ensures his target share should stay high.
Metcalf is playing extremely well – PFF’s 13th-highest graded WR – and the schedule is awesome from here on out. I might have gone full 180….going from selling, to holding, to now buying Metcalf after a down game in a prime-time spot.
PFF’s 6th-highest graded WR – so I’m shifting towards more of a hold stance. He’s already had his bye week and seems destined to be a fantasy WR2 at worst ROS, even if he doesn’t score a TD every single week.
Steelers ROS schedule is GREAT for WRs…and No.1 in the fantasy playoffs: Dolphins, Lions, and Browns.

San Francisco 49ers
Sell Kendrick Bourne & Jauan Jennings | Hold Christian McCaffery | Buy Ricky Pearsall & George Kittle | Buy Brian Robinson Jr.
Christian McCaffery had been very inefficient as a rusher until this last game versus the Falcons.
McCaffrey gained a season-high 129 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in the 49ers’ win over the Falcons, including seven explosive runs of 10+ yards, tying his career-high.
On 15 runs between the tackles, he totaled 109 yards, his most in a game as a member of the 49ers and 3rd-most of his career. McCaffrey caught seven passes for 72 yards on just 18 routes, generating a career-high +9.9 EPA on his targets. He forced 6 missed tackles on his touches and has now forced a league-leading 46 this season.
Even though CMC is on pace for 450 touches through 7 weeks, I feel different from what I suggested last week.
McCaffery’s receiving usage has been off the charts, but eventually, the 49ers were going to get most of their starting WRs and TEs back. However, this actually might have helped CMC’s rushing efficiency.
Per Next Gen Stats…George Kittle did not record a catch on his 22 routes run against the Falcons, but the 49ers had significantly more success running the ball with Kittle on the field.
The 49ers ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries with Kittle in the game, averaging 1.4 yards before contact per carry. With Kittle off the field, the 49ers ran for just 12 yards on six carries, averaging -2.1 yards before contact per carry.
Kittle won’t be this little involved as a receiver every week. Sometimes this is just what his role calls for. Buy low.
Still played 81% of the snaps (82% route rate).
I still think CMC is not “untouchable” as a trade asset because of his injury history…but we can never be sure when/if that will happen. I’d just be 100% going after Brian Robinson Jr.
I get it if you just want to ride it out. I’m just saying that if you can get a really strong return (Jonathan Taylor, etc.) I’d be willing to part ways with CMC.
Kendrick Bourne did NOT do it AGAIN. 2-14 on two targets. He won’t be this bad every week with Mac Jones as the QB…but his fantasy value is on life support. Brock Purdy will be back under center at some point, along with several other 49ers WRs.
Jauan Jennings is also no long-term bet to stay healthy, given all the injuries he is playing through. His injuries seemed to hamper his production. Given he caught just one pass for 7 yards on three targets in Week 6, followed up by 4-31 on 7 targets in Week 7 (27% target share).
If Pearsall starts practicing this week, it’s possible he could return this week. Smash buy. PFF’s 17th-highest graded WR in four games played.
If not, Jennings becomes an interesting buy-low. He has a real connection with Purdy, and maybe another week passing has improved his health.
Brandon Aiyuk is also eyeing a Week 10 return.
Also – target the 49ers with fantasy TEs. No Fred Warner in Week 7, and Kyle Pitts had an awesome game.
The 49ers also lost CB Renardo Green on SNF.

Seattle Seahawks
Kenneth Walker saw the most carries (17) for the Seahawks, going for 66 yards, but Zach Charbonnet scored both rushing TDs with 12 carries of his own for 49 yards.
It’s a committee, like it’s been all season. And unfortunately for Walker managers, despite him being the superior rusher, Charbonnet is beloved in the red zone by the current coaching staff.
Per Next Gen Stats — Charbonnet logged 34 snaps (51%) to Kenneth Walker III‘s 29 (44%). Walker out-touched him 17 to 14, but Charbonnet handled both of Seattle’s goal-line carries, converting each for touchdowns and finishing with 19.5 PPR points. On the season, Charbonnet has handled five goal-line carries to Walker’s one.
We love the volume for Walker—and the coaches talked him up this week to get more work. His 17 carries were the second-most in a game this season.
The usage is frustrating. And the schedule is bottom-7 ROS for RBs. If you are hurting at RB – I don’t hate buying Walker dirt cheap. But for now, he’s just an obligatory hold.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba recorded his fifth 100-yard game of the season against Houston. JSN is having a special season.
According to NGS, JSN caught 8 of 14 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown, finishing with 26.3 PPR points. He dominated in the intermediate range (10-19 air yards), catching 5 of 6 targets for a career-high 89 yards and the score. Across seven matchups against Derek Stingley Jr. in coverage, JSN caught 3 of 4 targets for 49 yards and a TD. He’s now accounted for 46.3% of Seattle’s total receiving yards in 2025 — the highest team receiving yardage share in the NFL.
Elijah Arroyo popped in this game, seeing targets on the team’s opening drive and in the red zone (2). The rookie tight end played 38% of the snaps, which was actually his lowest snap rate since Week 1. But the 4-42 on five targets were all season highs. Nothing actionable with the Seahawks on bye – but something to store for the future. Post-rookie bye usage bumps are a real thing.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Add Tez Johnson
Mike Evans is going to miss the majority of the season after breaking his clavicle/collarbone on MNF vs the Lions. If you have a losing record, you probably can just drop Evans. However, if you have an IR spot or a winning record, it’s possible he could return in the fantasy postseason. 6-8 weeks is the timetable. So that would put Evans back on the field for Weeks 16-17.
As for the remaining Buccaneers, Emeka Egbuka is locked and loaded for the rest of the season. He was quiet versus Detroit but still commanded 12 targets, catching four for 58 yards (failed to score on two end-zone targets). Fantasy WR1 rest of the season.
Rookie Tez Johnson was the big surprise – following up his breakout game in Week 6 with a strong 4-58-1 stat line on nine targets. Second in WR routes run.
Cade Otton – also did what he usually does when the Bucs are down WRs. Produce. 7-65 on nine targets. He could have also had a better game (failed on a 2-point play). Led the Bucs in routes run.
Sterling Shepard provided a strong floor, catching all seven targets, but for just 25 yards (2 RZ targets). He also lost a fumble. I’d also imagine his role evaporates when Chris Godwin returns.

— Andrew Erickson™ (@AndrewErickson_) October 15, 2025
The Buccaneers have a Week 9 bye week, so I think we might see some of these guys return in Week 10 for the stretch run.
Managers with a strong record should be looking to buy Buccaneers on the injury discount.
Weeks 16-17: Panthers/Dolphins.
ROS? Top-10 schedule for WRs, RBs, and QBs.
Rachaad White maintained RB1 duties (90% snap share) – and he has been balling despite a meh 10 for 38 box score.
No. 1 among all RBs in success rate (54.6%). Irving, before his injury, was at 28.2% – second-worst. When Bucky returns, I don’t think he will be nearly as much of a bell cow as he was before his injury, based on White’s performance.

Tennessee Titans
Sell Tony Pollard | Add Chimere Dike & Elic Ayomanor
No Brian Callahan? Still, plenty of problems.
The run game was non-existent, with Tony Pollard going just 6 for 18.
Tyjae Spears went 6 for 22.
The shocker was that Pollard got there in fantasy with dump-offs, catching six balls for 43 yards. He caught four passes in a row on the Titans’ final drive. This pass-catching usage probably won’t sustain.
We can work with dual-backfields…if the offense is actually good. Not the case in Nashville whatsoever.
One highlight for the Titans was rookie Chimere Dike, four catches for 70 yards and 1 TD. The rookie did all of his damage in the first quarter before completely disappearing.
Finished third in routes with Calvin Ridley out.
The Colts are up next…so you can add Elic Ayomanor and Dike if you need a WR streamer.
Simply put, Ayomanor will run the most snaps/routes, whereas Dike will be the big-play schemed touch player.
To add insult to injury, the Titans also lost defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and CB L’Jarius Sneed.

Washington Commanders
Buy Jacory Croskey-Merritt | Sell Deebo Samuel
Jayden Daniels completed 12 of 22 pass attempts for 156 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game against the Cowboys with a right hamstring injury. Daniels’ status is the big concern for fantasy managers, as this is the second injury he has dealt with this season.
Marcus Mariota has already started multiple games this season.
Washington also lost pass rusher Dorace Armstrong in this game.
Without Deebo Samuel or Terry McLaurin…Chris Moore led the Commanders in snaps/routes, followed by Jaylin Lane. The rookie saw the majority of downfield targets…38% air yards share.
Luke McCaffrey was third, but he did miss some time with an injury. Mariota also missed wide open at the end of the game.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt led with a 49% snap share, followed by Jeremy McNichols (36%) and Chris Rodriguez (13%). All three guys had a red zone touch, with C-Rod scoring on his from the 3-yard line.
Even so.
Always be buying BILL.
Top-10 schedule rest of season for RBs? The Washington Commanders.
Even though Croskey-Merritt struggled versus the Cowboys – 13 for 33 yards – a lot of it stemmed from a few negative runs and runs stuffed for no gain.
Still the best Commanders RB by far. And two of his most efficient rushing games came with Mariota under center – 50% success rate or better in both of Mariota’s starts this season. The Commanders also posted a -3% PROE in those two games.
Deebo Samuel missed this game with a heel injury. This is what Samuel does. He starts the season great, gets banged up, and then flames out.
With Terry McLaurin coming back soon…the time to sell Samuel WAS yesterday! Even more so with his starting QB hurt again.
