Welcome back! Week 12 is in the books, and we’re changing things up a bit — both this week and for the rest of the 2025 fantasy football season. With most trade deadlines in the rear view window, the focus now shifts to rest-of-season takeaways and fantasy strategy once those first waiver runs clear.
But my final words of advice for those making final-minute trades….chase upside. You want to acquire players capable of week-winning performances, even if it’s not consistent. Because every weekly matchup usually comes down to a handful of players who go off, that decides your W/L fate.
This means we’re zeroing in on what really matters: playoff stashes, injury fallout, drop candidates, player usage shifts, and schedule advantages — plus the key questions that were answered this week and the new ones we still need to figure out.
And I’m holding myself accountable to the name of this column — to truly go beyond the box score. No regurgitated stat dumps here (aside from the advanced ones provided by Next Gen Stats). Just the signal, not the noise.
I want to save time. You want to save time. Win-win, baby. Less is more.
Here goes nothing. Beyond the Waiver Wire. We are OFF.
And consider this your Strength of Schedule ROS cheat sheet:
- Weeks 13-14
- Weeks 15-17 (Fantasy Football Playoffs)
- ROS SOS
Arizona Cardinals
Buy Trey McBride | Hold Michael Wilson | Hold Zonovan Knight | Add Jacoby Brissett
Michael Wilson caught 10 of 15 targets for 118 yards in the Cardinals’ overtime loss to the Jaguars (two end-zone targets).
After recording a career-high 37.5% target rate in Week 11 against the 49ers (min. 25 routes), Michael Wilson posted a 31.3% target rate in Week 12, the 2nd-highest mark of his career. Eight of his targets came on passes of 10+ air yards, the most downfield targets he has seen in a game of his career. He hauled in five for 82 yards.
When you include penalties, Wilson commanded 18 total targets. Back-to-back games with 18 targets.
Now the question remains… what happens when Marvin Harrison Jr. returns? Well, folks, I hate to break it to you… But I don’t think this Wilson thing will entirely evaporate.
If anything, Greg Dortch will fade back into the background. But if the sheer volume of attempts that Brissett is adding, very likely we can still see Wilson be a useful fantasy piece. Hold him.
Jacoby Brissett also left the game briefly but returned to action.
Zonovan Knight scored but did nothing else as a rusher (10 for 12 yards, woof). But he stayed involved as a receiver with four catches and 20 yards. The usage has been great for Knight, so fantasy managers are hoping that Trey Benson can inherit this high-end role. Knight also got hurt toward the end of the game.
Hold Knight until Benson actually comes back. The team is still viewing him a day-by-day.
Greg Dortch also scored again – 6-53-1.
OG Will Hernandez came into this game dealing with an injury and left with a hip injury.
Walter Nolen got hurt again, leaving the game with a knee injury.
With Brissett under center, McBride can’t stop catching TDs (although he fell short in Week 12).
In Week 17, he faces the Bengals. You might not win your fantasy football league this year if you don’t have McBride on your roster. Not in love with the start of the postseason schedule either for Arizona (HOU, ATL), but Cincy in Week 17 might be all that matters. With Brissett being the starter for presumably the rest of the way, that’s a plus for this offense.

Atlanta Falcons
Sell Darnell Mooney | Buy Kyle Pitts
The Falcons used 13 personnel (1 RB, 3 TE) on 33 of 55 offensive plays (60.0%), the highest rate of any NFL offense in a single game since 2016. Atlanta gained 183 yards and scored 2 TDs from 13 personnel, the 3rd-most yards from this personnel grouping in the Next Gen Stats era, trailing most recently the Rams’ Week 9 game against the Saints. Kirk Cousins‘ only deep completion of the game also came from 13 personnel, connecting with wide receiver Darnell Mooney for 42.7 air yards, his longest touchdown since 2021 (NGS).
Naturally, Mooney finally catches a deep pass (49 yards) after being an outright disaster all season. I’d very much sell high given he saw almost no volume (three targets).
Also, Drake London could return – although I think he will miss at least one more week.
Kyle Pitts was still the target leader (5, 35% air yard share), and he has been the most targeted receiver in Cousins’ two starts this season.
Terrible game for Pitts. However, the ROS schedule is favorable for the Falcons’ TE, ranking favorably in the next three games. If you are hurting at tight end…Pitts might be a sneaky add if he gets dropped after three straight duds.
Atlanta dialed back their passing volume substantially to hide from Cousins.
Both RBs saw 12-plus carries. Their pass rate over expectation was -7% in Week 12.
CB AJ Terrell got banged up in this game, as did safety Xavier Watts. OL Matthew Bergeron also got hurt again, but he returned.
The Falcons have the worst schedule for QBs ROS. Also tied for 32nd in the fantasy postseason.

Baltimore Ravens
Hold Mark Andrews | Add Ravens DST| Add Isaiah Likely & Keaton Mitchell | Buy Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson was a fantasy bust again. However, the seven carries for 11 yards were the second-highest carry total he has had since his hamstring injury.
Still buying. I get it hasn’t been the same since returning from injury, struggled against the tough Browns defense on the road, and another turd at home versus the Jets. But he almost scored a rushing touchdown from the 3-yard line. But the schedule is salivating for him and all of his pass-catchers to get back on track from now throughout the fantasy playoffs.
No. 1 SOS ROS for fantasy QBs (tied with the Giants).
Just a disappointing game from the entire Ravens passing attack. Derrick Henry scored both TDs. Zay Flowers was the target leader (5-58 on six targets). He also picked up a DPI that put the ball at the 3-yard line. Nobody else had more than three targets. Jackson and Mark Andrews failed to connect in the red zone. Also missed DeAndre Hopkins on a TD as well.
Andrews is TD or bust…but he gets the Bengals on Thanksgiving. Hold steady.
Two matchups versus the Bengals over the next month. Great schedule, ROS.
Keaton Mitchell had a 35-yard run called back on holding.
Note that Henry’s playoff schedule is tougher—something to file away before the fantasy football trade deadline. Weeks 16-17 are Pats/Packers. The Pats matchup is the one I am most concerned about, given that they allowed only two RBs to go over 50 rushing yards against them (but they have been worse in recent weeks). And since Henny is not used as a receiver (although coming off strong receiving usage the last two weeks), he can’t take advantage of their defense’s main weakness. Being nit-picky, but something to keep top of mind regarding Henry ROS.
Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton also got injured. John Harbaugh noted the injury is not thought to be severe.

Buffalo Bills
Sell James Cook
No Keon Coleman (healthy scratch/benching) or Dalton Kincaid (hamstring)? Houston…we have a problem.
Via Next Gen Stats…Josh Allen was sacked a career-high eight times in Week 12 against the Texans. Allen was sacked on 53.3% of his pressured dropbacks, the highest pressure-to-sack rate of his career (min. 5 pressured dropbacks).
Allen completed 19 of his 21 pass attempts underneath for 141 yards; he attempted just one deep pass attempt, his 2nd game this season doing so.
The Bills also lost OT Spencer Brown to an injury; the severity of his status is still TBD.
James Cook was productive with a long 45-yard TD run, finishing with 17 carries for 116 yards and three catches for 13 yards.
Goes to show that Cook can rise above tough matchups. He will have to rise above that for the rest of the season. Noting that Cook’s playoff schedule is pretty bad. Two road games against two elite run defenses…then Philly at home. Toughest playoff schedule for RBs.
Khalil Shakir rebounded in a big way – 8-110 – on 10 targets. He flashed his top-end YAC-ability in more than one instance. 44-yard catch-and-run and then 33 more yards on a hook-and-ladder from Josh Palmer late in the fourth quarter. He also may have been playing at less than 100%.
Palmer and Dawson Knox tied second in targets with four each. Gabe Davis ran the most routes playing the Coleman role. Palmer saw the highest air yards share (32%). Two weeks in a row, Palmer has been the WR target leader among the “other” guys. However, I would anticipate that Coleman returns after the Bills’ mini-bye.
It’s Allen and Cook. Sometimes Shakir is a WR3/FLEX, and Kincaid when he’s not injured. Otherwise…best to stay away.
Buffalo also lost another linebacker in Terrel Bernard, while rookie CB Maxwell Hairston is in the concussion protocol.

Carolina Panthers
Hold Tetairoa McMillan | Sell Rico Dowdle
Tetairoa McMillan had a down game against the 49ers. Had some drops and miscommunications with Bryce Young. However, he salvaged his outing with a TD in the second half (7 targets and 24% target share). He totaled 65 incomplete air yards as the clear-cut No.1 WR in the offense.
The rookie WR is 9th in XPPG this season. Also, the Panthers have a top-10 schedule ROS for WRs.
Jalen Coker was also involved, catching three balls for 32 yards. He also had a failed 2-point conversion attempt.
Rico Dowdle totaled just 10 touches to Chuba Hubbard‘s 7. Dowdle only played 65% of the snaps – his lowest mark since Week 8.
If we are going back to a closer committee, Dowdle can’t be trusted as a fantasy RB1 ROS, given some of the tougher matchups that include Rams, Buccaneers, and Seahawks. In the last three weeks, Dowdle has not finished higher than RB14 on the week. In fact, Dowdle only has one RB1 finish since Hubbard returned to the lineup in Week 7.
Bryce Young completed 18 of 29 passes for 169 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions in the Panthers’ Week 12 loss.
Against man coverage, Young completed just 2 of 7 passes for 11 yards and both of his interceptions, with the 49ers sending a blitz on 7 of 8 dropbacks on which they played man. They blitzed on 4 of 6 dropbacks on third down, holding Young to 1 completion on three attempts for -3 yards, and recorded two interceptions on their early down blitzes despite sending them at just a 21.4% rate.
Guard Chandler Zavala also got hurt in this game, along with CBs Jaycee Horn and Corey Thornton. Not ideal for this injured secondary on a short week versus the Rams.

Chicago Bears
Add Luther Burden | Sell D’Andre Swift & Caleb Williams | Buy Kyle Monangai & Colston Loveland.
With starting left tackle Theo Benedet inactive, Caleb Williams recorded an average time to throw of 2.68 seconds, his 2nd-fastest of the season and only his second game averaging under 3.00 seconds. Williams was at his best on passes under 2.5 seconds, completing 11 of his 17 quick passes for 156 yards and a touchdown (9.2 yards per attempt) compared to 8 of 17 for 83 yards and two touchdowns on passes over 2.5 seconds (4.9 yards per attempt) via Next Gen Stats.
D’Andre Swift got bottled up – 8 for 15 yards with a fumble – compared to Kyle Monangai, who averaged 4.0 YPC on 12 attempts for 48 yards and 1 TD (two GL carries/5 RZ attempts). He also led the Bears’ backfield with a 56% snap share. Swift had two more touches wiped away on penalties, but Monangai was the better runner overall on similar volume.
This backfield is a split, even if Swift is usually the 1A. The rookie has cemented his role, and he had the hot hand in this matchup.
Still, the schedule is tough in the playoffs. The Bears have a tougher schedule for RBs in the playoffs: CLE, GB, and SF. Hopefully, you traded Swift already. Basically, it’s been a sell for me all season.
Again, coaches have talked about using a hot-hand approach, which creates a scary floor for Swift if the rookie starts to cook (like in Week 13). The rookie out-touched Swift 7-3 in the second half. Swift had two carries after his fumble.
The rookie from Rutgers did the majority of RZ work and scored the go-ahead TD. And in kill the clock time…the first year RB was carrying the rock to burn the Steelers’ timeouts.
DJ Moore scored twice (5-64) on seven targets. Rome Odunze was the target leader at 9. 26% target share, 43% air yards share, and 76 incomplete air yards.
Colston Loveland scored and was efficient with four catches and 49 yards with a score. His routes increased to 67%. 3 or more catches in six straight games. And in Week 12, he played ahead of Cole Kmet, running more routes than the veteran TE. The rookie tight end is just good.
Luther Burden continues to flash, going 3-46 on five targets. Keep him stashed. He has fully supplanted Olamide Zaccheaus.
As for the schedule, it is worth noting that this Bears’ playoff/late-season schedule could be tough on Caleb Williams. Up next from Week 13 onward: Eagles, Packers (x2), Browns, and then 49ers in Week 17.
Tied for the worst schedule for QBs ROS.
The Bears lost CB Tyrique Stevenson to another injury. Guard Jonah Jackson also got banged up, as did Rueben Hyppolite.

Cincinnati Bengals
Add Mike Gesicki and Andrei Iosivas
Chase Brown ran 19 times for 107 yards, posting a 63.2% success rate, his 2nd-highest in any game this season.
Since Week 7, Brown’s 13 explosive rushes of 10+ yards are tied for 4th-most in the NFL. Entering Week 12, the Patriots were averaging fewer than 80 rushing yards allowed per game, the lowest mark in the NFL.
5 straight games with 100-plus yards from scrimmage. Been my second-half buy all season.
From Weeks 14-16, the Bengals face the Bills, Ravens, and Dolphins. Tied with the Patriots for the No. 1 RB schedule in the playoffs.
Joe Flacco left the game briefly with a finger injury.
Andreis Iosivas was on track to be a mega WR bust even before he got hurt in the fourth quarter. Salvaged some production late to finish with a team-high seven targets and four catches for 61 yards. Not great but not terrible.
Mike Gesicki seemed to benefit the most from Ja’Marr Chase‘s absence. Highly involved from the jump. Finished 4-35 on six targets. We know he has strong splits with Higgins off the field from last year.
He also played well ahead of Noah Fant as the Bengals’ No. 1 pass-catching TE. Fant played just 28% of the snaps and ran a route on 18% of the dropbacks.
Tee Higgins suffered a scary concussion late in the fourth quarter. Play after he leaves…Mitchell Tinsley scores on a beautifully thrown ball from Flacco.
Talk about that literally helping nobody. But expect him to be out there again on Thanksgiving, with Higgins already ruled out for Thursday.
Joe Burrow is expected to start. I’d temper expectations starting him, given how sluggish he tends to be to start seasons. According to Tom Strachan, Burrow has finished as QB28, QB29, and QB31 in his last three opening games of the season. The Ravens’ defense is also playing much better than it was to start the season.
Chase will make his return to the lineup after his one-week suspension. But FWIW, losing Higgins isn’t necessarily a good thing. Chase averages fewer yards/points without Higgins. His efficiency skyrockets when Higgins is healthy.
Dating back to 2023, Chase has hit the under on his 93.5 receiving yards prop in 70% of his games without Higgins (7/10). The overs obviously cooked – 264, 124, 192
Still, Chase has also only gone over 93.5 yards once on the road this season.
CB Marco Wilson also got hurt for the Bengals, along with rookie RB Tahj Brooks (concussion).

Cleveland Browns
Hold Harold Fannin Jr. | Add Browns DST | Add Shedeur Sanders | Buy Quinshon Judkins | Add Dylan Sampson
Shedeur Sanders completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his starting debut win against the Raiders. In the first quarter, Sanders completed a 52-yard pass to Isaiah Bond; this was the Browns’ longest completion by air yards (42) since 2023 (NGS).
The rookie QB didn’t have to do much with the Browns’ pass rush, making life miserable for the Raiders’ offense.
Quinshon Judkins was also dealing with some injuries throughout the game, but he still scored two rushing TDs. Dylan Sampson pitched in as the RB2 – playing the second-most snaps in a game since Week 8 (where Judkins also got hurt). Clear that with Judkins out, Sampson will get the most run to follow. Made a nice 66-yard catch-and-run for a TD.
The Browns have a top-5 schedule ROS for RBs. Judkins has 16-plus RB opportunities in seven of his last nine games played.
However, we may see more Sampson – coaches talked up the “other” rookie RB after his Week 12 performance.
Harold Fannin was the target leader (6, 30% target share), going four for 40. He is the target leader with Sanders in the last two games. David Njkou also barely played (47% snap rate) and ran a route on just 33% of the dropbacks.
Jerry Jeudy only had one catch for 39 yards (which he also fumbled).

Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys’ win probability was as low as 3.3% in their comeback win over the Eagles (trailing 21-0 at the 5:07 mark of the first half).
The Cowboys scored 24 unanswered points to keep their division chances alive. At 5-5-1, the Cowboys currently have a 9% chance to make the playoffs and a 2% chance to win the NFC East.
George Pickens caught all 9 of his targets for 146 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Eagles.
He ran 76.7% of his routes aligned on the left, where he recorded eight receptions for 122 yards and his touchdown. Pickens found success against multiple Eagles cornerbacks, catching both of his targets for 52 yards when matched up with Cooper DeJean (7 matchups) and all 3 of his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown against Adoree Jackson (7 matchups). Pickens also matched up against Quinyon Mitchell 13 times and hauled in both of his targets against him for 16 yards (Next Gen Stats).
Pickens has been a monster this season – and his high-end production is actually hurting CeeDee Lamb. When the two have played together, Pickens has shown the highest ceiling. Meanwhile, Lamb continues to have drop issues – especially near and in the end zone. We will take the 4-75, but we should get more on 11 targets.
In 2025, Lamb is WR10 in XPPG and WR10 in actual PPF. Lamb has zero top-10 finishes in half-PPR. Pickens has four top-5 finishes…two with Lamb and two without Lamb in the lineup. The coaches talked up Lamb post-game about continuing to feature him, so I’d anticipate he rebounds in a pretty big way after being plagued by drops over the last few weeks.
Jake Ferguson bounced back, going 5-60 on six targets. However, still clearly behind Lamb/Pickens.
In the last four games, Ferguson has averaged just a 13% target share. Falling more into the TD-or-bust category. But it’s tight end. I would only sell as a way to move up a tier. ROS is solid for the Cowboys’ tight end, especially in the playoffs (tougher leading up to the postseason).
OT Tyler Guyton left the game versus Philly with an injury.

Denver Broncos
Sell Troy Franklin | Hold/Buy RJ Harvey
Bo Nix completed 24 of 37 passes for 295 yards in the Broncos’ Week 11 win over the Chiefs, completing 6 of 11 passes for a season-high 171 yards on passes over 10 air yards, including a 32-yard pass to Troy Franklin to set up a game-winning field goal (Next Gen Stats). The second-year WR finished with 124 incomplete air yards (58% air yards share).
Franklin was Nix’s go-to guy as he has been most of this season. The former Oregon wideout ranks as WR12 in expected fantasy points per game (XPPG). His growing chemistry with Nix is eating into Courtland Sutton‘s alpha role — Franklin has posted a 20%-plus target share over the past 7 weeks, slightly edging Sutton’s target share in that span. However, despite Franklin’s top-tier usage, he ranks third in the NFL in fantasy points under expectation, signaling possible regression ahead.
With Denver’s tough playoff schedule (GB, JAX, KC), this may be an ideal sell-high window with Sutton bound to be more involved post-bye week. Franklin is PFF’s 70th-graded WR this season. And he’s scored four TDs in the last five games—8-plus targets in five straight – two games with more than 40 receiving yards.
Sutton also contributed by moving the chains on a few key third downs in the fourth quarter. 21% target share with four catches for 59 yards on eight targets. Last five games for Sutton – three games with 59-plus receiving yards. Now to be clear, this Franklin sell take isn’t a recommendation to buy Sutton. But more of an acknowledgement that both guys will be involved and keep one from posting top-tier production. Sutton should at least bounce back versus the Commanders in Week 12.
Nix had a clean pocket on 72.5% of his dropbacks and posted 273 of his 295 passing yards when not pressured. The Chiefs blitzed on 24.4% of dropbacks, their 3rd-lowest rate of the season – Nix completed 6 of 8 attempts for 113 yards against the blitz.
RJ Harvey dominated the routes/targets, whereas Jaleel McLaughlin filled in the JK Dobbins role. The rookie played 61% of the snaps, whereas the other two RBs played eight snaps apiece. Harvey’s 14 touches for 50 yards were the second-highest in a game this season. He also had 3 RZ attempts but was vultured at the goal line by McLaughlin. Buy low. Dobbins is on IR. And despite Harvey’s “underwhelming” start in his debut, the usage suggests better days ahead. Buy.
Pat Bryant maintained WR3 duties even with Marvin Mims back. He also got banged up in this game, but returned.
Overall, the Broncos’ schedule is below average in the fantasy postseason (and Weeks 13-17).
Obviously, facing the Commanders in Week 13 is awesome. But after that, it’s below-average matchups across the board.

Detroit Lions
Hold/Buy Jameson Williams | Buy Lions DST
Jahmyr Gibbs rushed 15 times for 219 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ Week 12 win over the Giants, adding 11 receptions for 45 yards and a TD.
Gibbs amassed 184 yards and both rushing touchdowns on carries between the tackles, the most such yards by any player this season. His 73.3% rushing success rate and seven carries reaching 15+ MPH were both career-highs. On his game-winning 69-yard overtime touchdown run, Gibbs reached a max speed of 22.17 MPH, the 4th-fastest speed by any ball carrier this season. Gibbs is now responsible for three of the top four speeds by ball carriers this season (Next Gen Stats).
David Montgomery was held to just five carries and three catches. When push comes to shove, we know where Dan Campbell is feeding the ball.
Montgomery was my big “sell” 6-plus weeks ago. I’ve been talking about this throughout my articles this season, but he is seeing significantly less work under new OC Jon Morton. It’s been better in recent weeks (15-plus opps in two of last four games), but the Lions’ slight offensive regression in 2025 is hurting Monty (especially with OL injuries). And like I said before…just a clear RB2 behind Gibbs in the pecking order of who the Lions need to feature on offense. Monty is also still game script-dependent.
That being said, it was not the day for Jameson Williams. Zero catches on three targets. Jamo did have a 36-yard gain taken back on a flag. If you can buy low, do it.
The Lions are still an absolute unit on offense. After a goose-egg stinker, Jamo is a buy low, especially with the targets being more narrow with LaPorta on IR.
Jared Goff completed 28 of 42 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Week 12 against the Giants, finishing 16 of 17 for 89 yards and a score targeting receivers aligned in the backfield. His 16 such completions tied for the most in a game in the Next Gen Stats era (since 2016).
The Lions have a good schedule ROS for QBs. Their last outdoor game was at Philly in Week 11. Other than that, they are playing indoors until Week 18. You need at least one Lion (hopefully Jamo) on your roster ROS.

Add Jayden Reed & Christian Watson | Hold Emanuel Wilson | Sell Romeo Doubs
Emanuel Wilson rushed for a career-high 107 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, with 100 of his yards coming after contact, also a career-best. Wilson forced five missed tackles on the ground, tying his career high. He also complemented his ground performance by adding two receptions for 18 yards (Next Gen Stats).
However, Josh Jacobs will likely be returning – but I’d expect his snaps to be more split based on the short week, his injury, and Wilson’s strong performance in relief.
Christian Watson operates as the WR1 (5-49) on eight targets (32% target share). Nobody else had more than four. Matthew Golden did not play, which cleared out the deep targets for Watson. And since Watson returned…Romeo Doubs has seen his production nose-dive. One game with more than 55 yards in his last five played. He also finished third in WR routes run in Week 12. Watson has a ton of weekly upside – especially this week against the Detroit Lions.
Tight end Luke Musgrave picked up a long DPI call. But otherwise finished with just one catch for 7 yards. 37% snap rate.
GB also lost CB Keisean Nixon to a stinger injury.
Jayden Reed is expected to return soon. Add him. He should be fully healthy from both his collarbone and foot injuries. He was projected to miss 6-8 weeks. He has missed eight weeks after getting hurt on September 17th.
It should be noted that the Packers struggled against the run for the second straight week due to injuries on defense. Not good with the Lions coming up next.
Also, Jordan Love is still managing his shoulder injury.

Houston Texans
Hold Woody Marks & Dalton Schultz | Add Jayden Higgins
Woody Marks rushed for a career-high 74 yards on 16 carries in the Texans’ Week 12 victory over the Bills (Next Gen Stats).
He forced five missed tackles, gained 45 yards after missed tackles, and totaled 84 yards after contact (all career highs). Marks also recorded three explosive runs and generated a career-high 43.8% rushing success rate. He rushed for 24 more yards than expected in the game after entering the night with just four rushing yards over expected on the season. The rookie did get slightly banged up but returned to action. Marks has been at a 71% snap rate or better in three straight games. He is the Texans’ bell cow. The usage has been strong, but Marks needs to start converting his RZ touches to TDs.
Marks is the RB14 in XPPG over the last three weeks, but is scoring -5.4 points per game under expectation (RB31).
Per Next Gen Stats, the Texans’ offensive linemen allowed just two pressures combined, with left tackle Aireontae Ersery, left guard Tytus Howard, center Jake Andrews, and swing tackle Blake Fisher each allowing zero pressures on the night. The Texans allowed a 16.1% pressure rate overall, their lowest rate in a game since Week 5, 2023.
Jayden Higgins was the target leader for Houston (9, 30% target share) and even left production on the field – failing to get his feet in bounds on several Davis Mills passes. Even so, though the second-rounder went 4-38-1, the rookie has carved out a starting role behind Nico Collins. Week 11, he went 4-55 on seven targets. Worth a depth add, but note the Texans’ bad WR schedule ROS.
Christian Kirk scored as well, with 5-54. However, Kirk, Jaylin Noel, and Xavier Hutchinson split routes/snaps as the Texans’ WR3.
Dalton Schultz felt the burn of a brutal matchup. One catch for eight yards despite two RZ targets. He should rebound. Top-10 schedule for TEs.
The Texans DST has the No. 1 schedule in the fantasy postseason: Cardinals, Raiders, and Chargers.
However, it is conversely as bad for QBs (bottom-3) and WRs (bottom-10).
QB schedule for C.J. Stroud is horrible for the rest of the season. Bottom-3. Leave him on waivers. Also bottom-7 for WRs.

Hold Alec Pierce | Sell Michael Pittman Jr.
Jonathan Taylor forced only three missed tackles and generated a season-low 10 yards after forcing a missed tackle against the Chiefs. Taylor was hit behind the line of scrimmage at a season-high rate (62.5%) and averaged only 0.7 yards before contact, well below his 1.3-yard season average. The Colts shifted away from the ground game in the second half and OT, giving Taylor just nine carries while calling pass plays on 69.0% of their offensive snaps, their second-highest rate after halftime this season (Next Gen Stats).
As for the WRs/TEs…Michael Pittman and Tyler Warren led the way with 7-plus targets each. Pittman went 5-27-1 with Warren going 5-45.
Alec Pierce was a non-factor (one EZ target), which was always a potential given the type of coverage KC plays. Just one bad week, so I wouldn’t be overly concerned about it. Josh Downs also did nothing with his six targets.
Now, admittedly, the schedule ROS isn’t great—bottom-2 SOS for WRs, featuring teams like the Texans and Seahawks.
Matchups against the 49ers/Jags are awesome, but the overall schedule suggests some volatile play with the Colts’ No. 1 WR. Pittman is just WRX in expected points per game this season compared to WR11 in actual points per game. The TDs are helping boost his numbers dramatically.
And his usage is actually very close to Pierce’s. Targets are near even in the nine games they have played together. But Pierce has more yards with his big-play ability, while Pittman has more receptions (5.5/game).
Even in this game, Pierce nearly matched Pittman’s yardage (27 versus 26) on just one catch. Pittman remains the team’s WR1 but will fluctuate weekly in this run-heavy offense. But I think if somebody wants to pay for him as a clear-cut alpha WR, you can sell.
Pierce has 65 yards or more in six of his nine games played this season.
Between four talented pass catchers and JT, somebody will undoubtedly get left out in this Colts’ pass attack weekly. And the schedule is not great for WRs ROS.
The Colts played man coverage on 40.8% of their coverage snaps against the Chiefs, their second straight game calling man-to-man on at least 40.0% of coverage snaps (Next Gen Stats).

Hold/Sell Travis Etienne | Sell Brian Thomas Jr. & Trevor Lawrence | Add Bhayshul Tuten & Brenton Strange
Trevor Lawrence completed 18 of 30 passes for 256 yards, throwing three touchdowns and three interceptions in the Jaguars’ Week 12 overtime win against the Cardinals.
He was blitzed on 34.3% of his dropbacks, his 3rd-highest rate in a game this season. All three of his interceptions came when not blitzed, tied for the most in his career, while all three of his touchdown passes came against the blitz, also a career high (NGS).
Brenton Strange caught all five of his targets for a career-high 93 yards in his first game back from injury since Week 5.
He was targeted twice on deep passes (20+ air yards), the most in a single game in his career, after having seen just three such targets in his entire career entering the day. He also totaled 33 yards after catch, the 2nd-most in a game in his career.
Travis Etienne led the backfield with 15 carries for 86 yards, whereas Bhayshul Tuten was limited to just seven carries for 17 yards. ETN also caught a TD (3-30-1).
Last week’s Tuten takeover did not carry over in Week 12. Etienne operated as the clear starter (65% snap share) while Tuten played just 13 snaps (21%).
Still don’t tilt. Hold onto Tuten. Maybe his ankle injury was more severe than we were led to believe, and subsequently, Etienne’s shoulder injury was also less severe.
However, the playoffs feature Denver/Colts, both of whom rank in the top 8 vs. RBs this season. The Jets are a layup after their mass exodus of players before the NFL trade deadline, but the other two matchups are tougher for the Jags RBs. Although being fully transparent, the Colts’ run defense has not fared as well since they lost DeForest Buckner (neck injury). He is out at least the next two games.
Weeks 14-17 are well below average for all the Jags…except for the tight end position.
Brenton Strange made his return to the starting lineup and had an immediate impact (71% snap share). And post-game, Liam Coen talked about not wanting to overload him. If this is Strange on a limited basis, we are cooking with gas.
Parker Washington stayed involved, catching five balls for 71 yards and 1 TD on seven targets. He did get banged up in this game, but added a 43-yard punt return to set up a Jags’ TD. Note that all but one of his targets came in the second half. Jakobi Meyers also scored.
Brian Thomas Jr. is expected to return in Week 13. However, they may be without OL Chuma Edoga, who left Week 12 with a calf injury. LT Walker Little also got banged up.

Kareem Hunt rushed for 94 yards on 29 attempts (3.2 yards per carry) and a touchdown against the Colts on Sunday. He also lost a fumble in the red zone.
Hunt generated a career-high 103 yards after contact, but his production suffered once guard Trey Smith left the game at the half due to injury. In the first half, Hunt gained 50 yards on 11 carries (4.5 yards per carry) and a 63.6% success rate, but after halftime, Hunt rushed for 54 yards on 19 carries (2.8 yards per carry) for a 36.8% success rate.
RB Brashard Smith got more involved with four targets and three catches.
Xavier Worthy caught a deep pass late, but still finished with just four catches and 59 yards on eight targets. Essentially, a WR1 handcuff to Rashee Rice (8-141 on 12 targets with a two-point conversion and multiple RZ looks) based on what we saw last season during the second half of the year.
Rice also had a bit of a hamstring injury pop up – so monitor his status on a short week.
Travis Kelce finished with just 4 for 43 yards on six targets. However, he did score a 4-yard TD on a direct snap that was called back on a face mask call.
Rice is 3rd among all WR in XPPG this season. He is the alpha, and Patrick Mahomes is more than capable of supporting multiple fantasy assets. Kelce would be the “sell” just based on the larger sample size of him playing with Rice, as his targets are usually nuked. TDs will always be part of the equation (Kelce scored in Week 11), but the veteran TE consistently ripping off 20-plus yards over the last three games (5) is not sustainable at his age. In the first half of Week 11 (with Rice seeing the majority of targets), Kelce was sitting on two catches for 14 yards on three targets.
In Week 12, Rice feasted all game, and therefore Kelce was less effective – three for 35 in the first half.
Chiefs Pro Bowl G Trey Smith was ruled out with an ankle injury. Noah Gray also got hurt (concussion).

Hold Ashton Jeanty | Add Raheem Mostert
Ashton Jeanty saw 25 touches – rushing for 50 yards on 17 carries to go with eight receptions for 58 yards and 1 TD. Still, it is a high-floor based on usage (81% snap rate), but the ceiling can be limited in tougher matchups, given the state of the Raiders’ offense. The pass-catching has also been off-the-charts fantastic.
Jeanty also got banged up in this game – was marked questionable to return. Raheem Mostert would be the next man up – although we could see a potential pivot back to Zamir White. After the loss, the Raiders fired offensive coordinator Chip Kelly.
Keep in mind that Mostert had a coaching connection with Kelly. With him gone, possibly the Raiders shake up the RB depth chart behind Jeanty. The ankle injury doesn’t look to be severe.
Rest-of-season fantasy outlook: Still a hold with Jeanty — particularly targeting a Week 17 matchup vs. the Giants, which could deliver a title-winning spike week. But in the short term, expectations should be tempered given the depleted O-line. The Raiders face the No. 32-ranked QB schedule per the FantasyPros Strength of Schedule tool, which is brutal news for Geno Smith‘s rest-of-season.
The Raiders – per the SOS tool – have a decent playoff schedule for fantasy RBs.
Although being fully transparent, the Eagles/Texans aren’t amazing matchups even if they are somewhat plus spots on paper. It’s not perfect, but there are some decent spots for a three-down workhorse like Jeanty. The Broncos, Eagles, and Texans aren’t ideal – even if the Chargers/Giants are solid on paper – presuming his injury is not severe.
Tre Tucker saw 10 targets but only finished with three catches for 28 yards. Two end-zone targets and a whopping 173 incomplete air yards (56% air yards share).
Michael Mayer got hurt and did not return against the Browns.
In Kelly’s final game calling plays for the Raiders, quarterback Geno Smith was sacked 10 times for a net loss of 77 yards (The Athletic).
TBD on who will take over as the interim play caller. Pete Carroll announced on Monday that it would be Greg Olson who would take over offensive playcalling duties. It’s his third stint as the Raiders’ OC.
The Raiders also lost LB Elandon Roberts and center Jordan Meredith for stretches of this contest.

Hold/Sell Keenan Allen & Quentin Johnston | Buy Ladd McConkey
Bruh. Leave it to the Chargers to lay an egg flying West Coast to East Coast for a 1 pm local time kickoff back in Week 11. Bad offensive lines don’t travel.
Justin Herbert completed 10 of 18 passes for 81 yards with an interception in the Chargers’ Week 11 loss to the Jaguars, including just 1-of-3 for zero yards and a pick in the second half before exiting in the fourth quarter. He was pressured on 52.2% of his dropbacks, his third-highest rate of the season. Herbert has now faced pressure on over half of his dropbacks in three games this season, tied for the most such games by any quarterback. Under pressure, he finished 3-of-8 for 12 yards and an interception (Next Gen Stats).
Kimani Vidal also got hurt in this game. Omarion Hampton remains sidelined (not expected to return until after the Chargers’ Week 12 bye). However, it is still not a guarantee. Hold Vidal through and after the bye week. I’d hold him even after Hampton comes back.
Everybody bombed in this game, and it’s just a reminder of how things can crumble for a team behind a patchwork OL. This won’t always be the result, but it’s always a risk that is heightened when the Bolts play on the road. At least they had a bye week to hopefully figure things out.
Herbert’s injury looked concerning, given all the hits he has taken this season. Actually, Herbert didn’t even get hurt (technically, he was just sent to the blue medical tent to be checked for a concussion), which I was actually shocked by. I thought for sure that when I saw Trey Lance enter the game, it was due to an injury. The coaches took him out in a blowout loss, down 35-6.
Could argue that Herbert might be a drop candidate in 1 QB leagues…given the bottom-7 schedule ROS for QBs. If anything, Herbert’s managers should look to add another QB. He should be fine versus the Raiders out of the bye week.
Last matchup vs LV: 19/27, 242 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT; 2 sacks (-6 yards); 4 9 rushes, 31 yards.
This Week 11 performance likely blows things WAY out of proportion for the Chargers’ offense pieces. They still have strong weekly upside. That being said, the only guy I want to buy is Ladd McConkey (No.1 WR coming off a season-low in routes in a blowout loss). The second-year WR leads the NFL in routes run (before Week 12).
I’ve been much more on the sell QJ/Keenan Allen train this season and see no reason to pivot that stance too much. They are playoff stashes/targets. And given they are coming off a bye in Week 12, you can probably add them for free or next to nothing.
Keenan Allen‘s routes bumped back up to 76% after being dangerously low the three prior weeks (sub-61%). As a result, his targets increased again (6, 23% target share). Still, the schedule is the toughest over the next three weeks for WRs and bottom-7 ROS.
Basically, the only good matchup left on their schedule is against the Cowboys.
Over their next three games, the Chargers have the worst schedule for WRs in the NFL. We know that these Chargers WRs have weekly upside. They play Dallas in Week 16. Even if QJ/Allen rides your bench or is a boom-or-bust option until Week 16, that one game alone could make them worth targeting/rostering. It’s Dallas in Week 16 or bust for the non-McConkey WRs.
The Raiders in Week 13 is a rematch from earlier this season…Week 2.
The Bolts struggled to run in the first matchup. Allen was productive. 7 targets, five catches, 61 yards, 1 TD. 1H: 2 catches, 19 yards + TD. Still red-zone go-to. Johnston commanded eight targets, three catches, 71 yards, 1 TD (60-yd bomb). The Chargers also lost Khalil Mack in that game.

Hold Kyren Williams | Add Colby Parkinson
Not much else to add here in a blowout win.
Matthew Stafford completed 22 of his 27 passes from a clean pocket against the Buccaneers in Week 12, throwing for 243 yards and three touchdowns.
The Buccaneers pressured Stafford on just 25.0% of his dropbacks, their lowest rate this season, and he completed only 3 of 8 passes for 30 yards under pressure. Stafford was particularly effective on downfield throws, completing 8 of 12 passes traveling 10+ air yards for 141 yards and two touchdowns, recording his 2nd-highest completion percentage (66.7%) and success rate (66.7%) on such passes this season.
Davante Adams caught five of his eight targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday night. Four of Adams’ five receptions came when matched up against Zyon McCollum, resulting in 52 yards and both his touchdowns. Sixty-one of his 62 yards came against single-high coverage, while one reception, a fade for a touchdown against McCollum, came against Cover 0 on the one-yard line (Next Gen Stats).
Colby Parkinson was the most productive tight end for the Rams with Tyler Higbee out. 62% snap rate. His 55% route participation was a season high.
The one note was that Kyren Williams was basically a non-factor. Just 12 carries for 46 yards – he also had just two carries for three yards in the first half. Blake Corum had three carries for 21 yards. Williams touched the ball on the first two offensive plays.
We have acknowledged that the split has been greater this year between Corum/Williams, but admittedly, it has made Williams a more effective rusher.
I also think in this game it was more about the flow – we see Corum/Williams exchange drives, and it just so happened the Rams’ drive with Williams was very short in the first half. He got more work in the second half. Don’t overreact to this game for Williams – especially given the Bucs have a tougher run defense. The next two matchups are great for him to bounce back.
The schedule gets slightly tougher in the fantasy playoffs (DET, SEA) – hence, more of a hold than BUY stance.
The Rams did lose CB Roger McCreary to an injury.
Rams coach Sean McVay said Monday that Tutu Atwell will have his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, and the wideout is expected to be available for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

Miami Dolphins
Buy Jaylen Waddle | Add Ollie Gordon | Add Darren Waller
De’Von Achane ran outside the tackles on 17 of his 21 carries against the Commanders, gaining 109 yards (47.1% success rate) on outside runs compared to just 11 yards on four inside carries (25.0% success rate). Achane recorded a career-high six explosive runs on outside carries, along with 76 yards after contact, the most allowed to a running back by the Commanders this season (NGS).
Ollie Gordon reclaimed RB2 duties and scored from inside the red zone on one of his nine carries that went for 45 rushing yards. Achane did get banged up in this game, so Achane managers should add Gordon just to be safe. He looks like the clear-cut handcuff.
Miami’s OL also might be healthier out of their bye week…with Austin Jackson and Aaron Brewer (who was dealing with an injury).
The Dolphins have allowed an explosive play (10+ rushing yards, 15+ passing yards) on 16.1% of defensive plays this season, the 4th-highest rate in the NFL, and have allowed a 46.5% success rate, the 5th-highest in the NFL. However, in their last three games, the Dolphins have allowed a 42.4% success rate, 12th-lowest in the league, while still surrendering explosive plays at a similar rate (15.3%) via Next Gen Stats.
Jaylen Waddle was disappointing, but this was an outlier performance. He had a bad drop that could have helped him finish with a better stat line. Regardless, he still led the team with seven targets (35% target share and 74% air yards share). Waddle has now topped 82 yards in five of his seven games this season without Hill, averaging over seven targets and 77 yards per contest when Hill plays fewer than 50% of snaps or misses entirely (11-game sample size). He’s cemented himself as an auto-start WR1 with Hill out.
Another W for Miami bodes well for Mike McDaniel’s future as the Dolphins HC for the rest of 2025. The Dolphins’ final seven games feature three at home (one internationally — an ideal setup for fantasy production. With Achane commanding elite usage and Waddle thriving as the WR1 in Hill’s absence, this offense remains a sharp buying opportunity for savvy managers looking ahead to the fantasy playoffs, especially with Waddle coming off a bad game during a bye week.
Coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Darren Waller will be designated for return from injured reserve on Wednesday. Great schedule, ROS.

Minnesota Vikings
Buy Aaron Jones & Justin Jefferson
In a game where the Vikings trailed for all but the first five minutes, J.J. McCarthy completed only 12 of 19 passes for 87 yards and two interceptions.
McCarthy completed just 2 of 5 passes for 34 yards over 10 air yards while throwing two interceptions on such attempts. He was pressured on 48% of his dropbacks (12 total), completing just 2 of 6 passes for 9 yards and an interception while taking five sacks when under duress (NGS).
Backfield was a 50/50 carry split with Jones seeing more snaps in a negative game script (3-16 on four targets).
Justin Jefferson – per usual with McCarthy – went just 4 for 48. Again, we knew going to GB could still be tough. Targets (32% target share), air yards, etc, are all there but to no avail.
Christian Darrisaw and Donovan Jackson both got hurt versus the Packers. The entire left side of Minnesota’s OL. Woof.
On the road versus Seattle next. Double Woof.
Jefferson has to fall in the Week 13 rankings closer to the WR2 range. Zero top-8 finishes this season. Zero 20-point games. The “upside” has not been there for Jefferson this season.
But it’s all about Week 14 onward: QBs: No.1, RBs: Average, WRs: No.1
The hope is that with McCarthy improving with more experience, the Vikings’ offensive weapons can take advantage of matchups versus the Commanders, Giants, Bears, and Cowboys – while being easy bench candidates in tougher spots.
News broke that McCarthy is in the concussion protocol. If he can’t go, either Max Brosmer or John Wolford would start in his place.
Brosmer (BRO-smer, not Brozmer) brings a lot of college experience, having spent six years in school (48 starts).
Went undrafted in 2025 out of Minnesota after spending five years at UNH. Per Sports Info Solutions…”Being in an offense that prioritizes getting the ball in the hands of playmakers, as opposed to vertically challenging defenders down the field, will benefit him greatly if he is called upon to fill in as a backup.”

Hold TreVeyon Henderson | Buy Hunter Henry & Stefon Diggs
Drake Maye completed 8 of 14 downfield passes for 166 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He completed 3 of 4 intermediate passes (10-19 air yards) to Hunter Henry for 56 yards and his only touchdown. Maye leads the NFL with 1,748 passing yards on throws of 10+ air yards (Next Gen Stats).
Starting guard Jared Wilson went down to start the game. Starting tackle Morgan Moses also got hurt, but he returned. LT Will Campbell was carted to the locker room with a knee injury. IR candidate. Absolutely terrible. Not good for the Pats offense to drop multiple offensive linemen.
We all know the Pats are slightly fraudulent – given their amazingly easy schedule. Eventually, they will get punched in the mouth by a superior team, especially with the new injuries on the OL.
As for the backfield, TreyVeon Henderson maintained RB1 duties. 18 carries for 66 yards. 3 catches for 15 yards on four targets (65% snap share). The Pats used Rhamondre Stevenson on some 3rd downs. They also used him and Terell Jennings in the red zone – but that’s par for the course. All the Pats RBs saw RZ opportunities, but none converted. Interesting that they failed to convert 9 RZ attempts versus Cincy, with none being Henderson carries. Maybe something to consider next week, Josh McDaniels? For the fantasy playoffs, the Pats have Bills/Ravens/Jets (with Bengals and Giants Weeks 12-13). The Patriots have the 1 schedule ROS for RBs. Just note the Week 14 bye week.
Hunter Henry scored a second time – but it was called back on a pick call. They went back to HH on a shovel pass, where he was tackled at the 1-yard line. Even so, he hardly disappointed fantasy managers. 7-115-1 on 10 targets. Austin Hooper also took advantage of the plus matchup, going 3-39.
Stefon Diggs was targeted just once on 12 matchups against DJ Turner II, who is tied for the league lead in passes defensed (14) this season. The Bengals have been low-key elite versus No. 1 WRs and WRs in general – allowing the fewest points per game to WRs this season. Diggs matched up against Turner on more than half of his routes run (12 of 23) and caught his lone target for 14 yards. Diggs finished the day with just 20 receiving yards, his 2nd-lowest total of the season. He also saw his routes/snaps dip back to 48%. Womp.
Kayshon Boutte drew a long DPI that set up the Pats inside the red zone – but they couldn’t punch it in to the end zone despite multiple efforts. Boutte went back to his normal role (80% snaps).
DT Khyiris Tonga also got hurt for the Patriots – another blow to their defensive interior.

Add Devin Neal | Add Taysom Hill
Alvin Kamara left the game with a knee injury. Devin Neal (7 for 18) and Taysom Hill (10 for 17) split carries in his absence. Considering Kamara is dealing with an MCL sprain, he might be done for the ROS. Team is 2-9.
Add Neal and Hill.
ROS schedule. Decent overall, and top 10 for RBs in the playoffs: Jets/Titans Weeks 16-17. I talked about stashing/adding Neal in case Kamara is completely checked out by then. So hopefully you already have Neal on some rosters. The rookie RB catches passes (5 for 43 on seven targets for a 16% target share) and was splitting routes/targets even when Kamara was healthy. Neal also played 74% of the snaps on offense after Kamara left early.
The Saints have the No. 1 schedule ROS for RBs. Also, their DST schedule is fantastic. Dolphins, Bucs, Panthers, Jets, Titans, etc.
As for Hill, beyond tilting that he didn’t score, he had carries from the 5, 7, and 7, and two passes from the 1 yard (to Devaughn Vele and another that was deemed intentional grounding).
Played 26% of the offensive snaps.
Vele and Chris Olave combined for 178 incomplete air yards.

Add Theo Johnson & Devin Singletary & Isaiah Hodgins
Sell Tyrone Tracy Jr. | Buy Wan’Dale Robinson
Jameis Winston completed 18 of 36 passes for 366 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Week 12 against the Lions. Winston’s 13.6 air yards per completion is the highest mark in a game league-wide since Week 1 of last season (Anthony Richardson), and he completed 4 of 4 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown on attempts beyond 20 air yards. He was pressured on 50.0% of his dropbacks yet did not take a single sack, finishing 8 of 18 for 211 yards (2nd-most by any player this season), two touchdowns, and an interception under pressure. Winston also caught a third-quarter touchdown pass, the first reception of his career, and his 13 yards after contact were the most by a quarterback on a reception since at least 2017 (Next Gen Stats).
Tyrone Tracy Jr.(20 carries for 62 yards) and Devin Singletary (14 carries for 47 yards) saw a boatload of volume. Tracy also ripped off a 42-yard long catch-and-run to finish with over 100 yards from scrimmage. He also had 3 GL carries and dominated the RZ work (5) over Singletary more than we have seen in recent weeks.
This is a split backfield, and I get concerned about what will happen in tougher matchups about both RBs seeing volume. The schedule does the Giants’ RBs no favors, as the schedule is the toughest according to the FP SOS tool (especially over the next week before a Week 14 bye week). You might be able to ship Tracy off to an RB-needy roster. He is coming off back-to-back 23-touch games with 130-plus yards from scrimmage. Three weeks with 62-plus rushing yards.
Wan’Dale Robinson had a monster game – 9-156-1 (14 targets). This is why we chase high-end target shares. 31% last week. Smash the next week. Trust the process.
Schedule is great for fantasy QBs (particularly Weeks 15-17). Robinson has taken his game to a new level – being used more downfield and on the perimeter. Target machine….9-plus targets in five of his last six games, averaging north of a 31% target share.
Theo Johnson caught 3 for 77 yards on five targets – with some red-zone looks (two end-zone targets). Isaiah Hodgins scored 2-42-1. Totaled eight targets when penalties are included.
Darius Slayton was held to one catch (on the first play).

New York Jets
Sell Breece Hall | Add John Metchie & Tyrod Taylor
After pressuring Tyrod Taylor on just 3 of his 15 dropbacks in the first half (20.0%), the Ravens ramped up their pressure in the second half, generating nine pressures on 19 dropbacks (47.4%). Under pressure, Taylor completed only 2 of 8 passes for 35 yards and took three sacks. When kept clean, however, he completed 15 of 20 attempts for 187 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Overall, the Jets allowed a 35.3% pressure rate in the game, their lowest mark of the season (Next Gen Stats).
Breece Hall caught all four of his targets for 75 yards in the Jets’ Week 12 loss to the Ravens. He also lost a fumble trying to battle into the end zone.
He recorded 79 yards after catch, his season high and most in a game since Week 5 of 2022 against the Dolphins. Hall has now totaled 270 yards after catch this season, ranking 10th among all running backs, with 135 of those yards coming in the last three games. He has also generated +82 yards after catch over expected, the 5th-most among running backs.
John Metchie picked up where he left off last Thursday night as the Jets’ WR1. 6-65-1 on seven targets. Adonai Mitchell tied him with seven targets but was inefficient again (2-42)–149 incomplete air yards for the separation savant. What Aaron Glenn said after last week’s game came true two-fold: Hall was more involved in the passing game, and Metchie was the leading receiver.
With no timetable for Garrett Wilson‘s return… Mitchell/Metchie look like the top two WRs for New York the rest of the way. Great schedule for WRs ROS. Worth the add for the former second-round pick from Alabama with two solid games back-to-back.
The schedule is tough for Hall. Weeks 15-16 are both on the road, and Week 17 is the Pats. Love Hall, but there’s a lot of risk being too heavily invested in the Jets in the fantasy postseason – I think you’ve got to sell if you still can to a RB-needy team.
Tyrod Taylor is the starter ROS Add him in Superflex formats and deeper QB1 spots, as the Jets have a favorable schedule in fantasy postseason for QBs. He also adds value with his legs (five carries for 19 yards).
The next five weeks are also great for the Jets’ passing attack. Tied for No. 1 schedule ROS for QBS.
Mason Taylor‘s snaps/routes bounced back after a downtick in usage with Jeremy Ruckert in Week 11.

Philadelphia Eagles
Buy Dallas Goedert
Saquon Barkley rushed just 10 times for 22 yards against a vastly improved Dallas run defense. Big D might not be as great a RB matchup to target as it looks like on paper, with all the reinforcements they now have defensively: Quinnen Williams, Malik Hooker, Shavon Reveal, DeMarvion Overshown, and Logan Wilson, etc.
The Eagles’ RB1 also lost a fumble. At least Barkley caught seven passes for 52 yards on eight targets.
The Lane Johnson injury doesn’t help Barkley for the rest of the season. So even though there are good matchups, I think Barkley is more of a volume play.
A.J. Brown hauled in 8 of 10 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys in Week 12. Brown was particularly effective against single-high safety coverage, catching 5 of 7 targets for 62 yards and a touchdown.
He also recorded at least one reception against four different Cowboys defenders, with most of his production coming against DaRon Bland, who allowed three receptions for 41 yards across 14 matchups.
Even after the AJB blow-up (mostly in the first half), he was still slightly out-targeted by DeVonta Smith, who finished with a team-high 13 targets for 89 yards and six receptions. Through 10 games, the Eagles WRs have nearly identical target shares.
I think Smith finishes this season as the Eagles’ No. 1 WR. The schedule has plus spots – Tied for easiest schedule ROS for WRs -, so it makes Brown a tricky guy to sell. Still, the up-and-down performances, regardless of matchups, can be brutal. Rather buy into Smith taking OFF with a favorable schedule than AJB.
Or buy Dallas Goedert – the Eagles TE has the best SOS rest of the season for TEs. After he bombed with everybody else eating….I would buy low.
The Eagles came out of the gates hot – but they didn’t score in the second half after being up 21-0. This offense has real problems.
Two of the Eagles’ safeties – Andrew Mukuba and Reed Blankenship – were injured versus the Cowboys. Adoree Jackson also got hurt.
Mukuba is out for the rest of the season. He was PFF’s 8th-highest graded run defender among safeties.
Quinyon Mitchell faced four targets on 40 coverage snaps, allowing just two catches for 16 yards while forcing two tight windows and defending a pass against the Cowboys.
Opposite Mitchell, Adoree Jackson and Cooper DeJean struggled, combining to allow nine catches on 11 targets for 205 yards and two touchdowns. George Pickens caught all five targets for 93 yards and a touchdown against the pair, while CeeDee Lamb caught two of his five targets for 60 yards, including a 48-yard catch versus DeJean in the 3rd quarter. DeJean allowed 152 yards in the game, the third-most by any defender in a single game this season, with his 25.3 yards per target ranking second-most among defenders with 5+ targets.
DT Moro Ojomo also got banged up a bit in this game.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Hold/Sell Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell
The Steelers totaled 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries outside the tackles in Week 12, averaging 6.3 yards per carry and generating a 56.5% success rate.
Kenneth Gainwell led the Steelers with 81 of his 92 rushing yards coming on eight carries outside the tackles (10 total in the game), while Jaylen Warren added 43 yards and a touchdown on 10 such carries. Warren finished with 18 total carries for 68 yards. The Steelers gained just 40 yards on their 13 carries between the tackles (NGS).
Keep in mind that the Bears were missing nearly all of their starting linebackers—a great matchup for the Pittsburgh run game.
Gainwell also caught all six of his targets for 30 yards. Guy is eating all the QB checkdowns. He also started this game.
And given the matchup next week – Bills. You need to start both Steelers RBs. Admittedly, the playoffs aren’t nearly as good (bottom-of-the-barrel), so anticipate this production to fall off. Weeks 16-17 are the worst matchups for RBs. If this stays a committee…could be brutal.
Mason Rudolph completed 23 of his 24 pass attempts under 10 air yards for 150 yards and a touchdown against the Bears in Week 12 (+12.8% CPOE).
His only incompletion on such attempts came on the final possession in the fourth quarter. However, Rudolph struggled significantly on downfield throws, completing just 1 of 6 passes over 10 air yards for 21 yards with one interception (-28.8% CPOE).
DK Metcalf left briefly with an ankle injury – but still led the team with eight targets (5 for 22 yards). Also scored a rushing TD from the 6-yard line. Still a WR2 with a strong schedule ROS: Through Weeks 15-17 (Fantasy Playoffs): Dolphins, Lions, Browns — the No. 2 WR schedule per FantasyPros’ SOS tool. No. 1 Schedule overall for fantasy WRs. Hopefully, a healthy Rodgers can boost Metcalf’s fantasy output.
Calvin Austin was the second leading WR (4 for 36 on five targets). The expectation is that Aaron Rodgers returns next week.
CB Joey Porter Jr. also got hurt. OT Broderick Jones experienced a stinger.

San Francisco 49ers
Hold Brock Purdy, Brian Robinson Jr., & 49ers DST | Hold Ricky Pearsall
Brock Purdy completed 22 of 25 passes under 10 air yards for 168 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 12 win over the Panthers.
He completed just 1 of 7 passes beyond 10 air yards for 25 yards, with all 3 of his passes over 20 air yards resulting in interceptions (Next Gen Stats).
You can bench Purdy versus the Browns, and then he has his bye week. But you will want him for the last three games.
Christian McCaffrey gained 142 yards on his 31 touches in the 49ers’ Week 12 win and forced 11 missed tackles, tied for the 5th-most by any player in a game this season.
As a rusher, he was most effective in 2-TE sets, rushing 6 times for 38 yards and a touchdown. As a receiver, he caught four passes for 35 yards on targets beyond the line of scrimmage – he has caught 60 such passes this season, 35 more than any other running back. McCaffrey leads the NFL with 83 missed tackles forced entering the Week 13 slate, 10 away from his 2023 career-high of 93.
We also saw Ricky Pearsall more involved in his second game back from IR – but it was just two catches for 6 yards on four targets. Slick Rick was also targeted on two of Purdy’s interceptions.
Still, the playoff schedule is fantastic for the 49ers…so hold Pearsall for now. Although Cleveland is shaky this week, it is followed by the Week 14 bye week.
Jauan Jennings remained the target leader overall (5-41-1) on a healthy seven targets.
In the last six games, Jennings is the WR target leader for the 49ers. He has a real connection with Purdy, and every passing day is seemingly improving his health. His health was notable on his TD catch, where he bounced off multiple tacklers to will his way into the end zone.
George Kittle was the overall leader in receiving, going 6-79 on 10 targets.
The 49ers are reportedly committed to getting Brandon Aiyuk healthy and on the field this year, per Mike Garafolo. Kyle Shanahan confirmed as much, saying there was a potential for the WR to return and play.
But this seems more like a pipe dream…with some sources citing that Aiyuk is done in the Bay Area. Aiyuk, sources say via The Athletic, has failed to attend meetings and declined to participate in other team activities in recent months, and the 49ers have grown increasingly frustrated with the receiver’s lack of communication.
They voided the contract guarantees as a result. I’d bet he doesn’t play for San Fran again this season. Get healthy and play for somebody else (Commanders) next year.

Seattle Seahawks
Hold/Buy Kenneth Walker
Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught 8 of 10 targets for 167 yards and two touchdowns in Week 12 against the Titans, hauling in 3 of 4 deep targets for 132 yards and both scores. Smith-Njigba now leads the NFL with 13 deep receptions and 542 deep receiving yards this season, and is tied for the league lead in deep touchdown receptions (4).
Kenneth Walker carried the ball 11 times for 71 yards while Zach Charbonnet totaled 35 yards on just six carries. But like he always does, he found the end zone (Walker didn’t convert his goal-line carry).
Walker still caught three balls, out-touching Charbs 14-6. Pretty stark touch usage a week after Mike Macdonald suggested that Walker deserved more work. He also played a season-high in snaps (64%).
Walker has 13-plus opportunities in five straight games to Charbonnet’s three.
Charb’s six touches were a season low. Curious because George Holani also got hurt in this game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Add Sean Tucker | Drop Rachaad White | Buy Bucky Irving & Emeka Egbuka
Obviously, a disaster game for the Bucs on Sunday Night Football. Baker Mayfield goes down with a shoulder injury and misses the entire second half.
Sean Tucker led the backfield (12 for 42). Tez Johnson scored (3-21-1).
Cade Otton had a tipped pass get returned for a TD (7 targets).
Emeka Egbuka drew eight targets (4 for Teddy Bridgewater) but finished with just 3-32. He is still getting open (Mayfield had him deep in the first half), but it didn’t translate to production.
Latest on Mayfield is as follows:
Obviously, if he misses, it’s a downgrade for the offense. But who knows…backup QBs have crushed for the most part in fantasy – and Egbuka’s production has tailed off the last few weeks with Mayfield battling through injuries. He is still the target leader (29% target share in the last five games).
Performing well BELOW expectation (-22.4 fantasy points, -5.6 PPG)
The Cardinals are also allowing the 4th-highest % of fantasy points to perimeter WRs. Egbuka has played mostly out wide in games with Chris Godwin active this year.
Chris Godwin only played 34% of the snaps in his return from injury. Clearly limited.
Bucky Irving is expected to return in Week 13 against the Cardinals. Head coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Irving (shoulder/foot) will participate in all practice activities in Week 13 and be cleared to suit up Sunday versus the Cardinals as he avoids any setbacks in that span.
He also said that Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan will be back before the season ends.
Would expect Tucker to be RB2 behind Irving, with Rachaad White just being used in pass-catching situations. White can be dropped in most formats.
The Buccaneers have constantly talked about the “hot hand,” so if Bucky Irving gets going… he could really get going and be a league-winner two years in a row. That being said… If he comes back less than 100% and doesn’t impress, it’s not ideal. Honestly, a home-run swing to trade for Bucky with him close to returning. Savvy managers with a strong record should be looking to buy Buccaneers on the injury discount.
Weeks 16-17: Panthers/Dolphins. ROS? Top-10 schedule for WRs, RBs, and QBs. After the Rams matchup in Week 12, it’s nothing but smooth sailing for Irving after just four games played so far in 2025. Guy has fresh legs.
Tampa Bay has the Top-2 schedule in fantasy playoffs for QBs.
Also, add the Bucs DST. Top-4 schedule ROS and in the playoffs.

Tennessee Titans
Hold Tyjae Spears | Sell Tony Pollard | Add Chimere Dike & Gunnar Helm
Cam Ward completed 28 of 42 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks, generating +4.4 EPA, his first positive EPA performance this season.
Ward was particularly effective when not facing a blitz, completing 72.7% of such passes for a 99.9 passer rating and +15.8 EPA, both season highs for the rookie quarterback. Ward also contributed on the ground, recording 37 rushing yards and a touchdown on six attempts in the contest.
Some life from the rookie QB in fantasy. Love to see it.
Tony Pollard led with 15 touches to Tyjae Spears‘ seven. Basically, with both guys healthy… they are utterly useless. However, we saw last year when Pollard went down…Spears was very productive. Just keep them on fantasy benches in deeper formats. Shallow formats…Pollard can be dropped.
Titans are tied with the Giants for the worst schedule for RBs for the rest of the season.
That being said, Tennessee lost two OL pieces – Lloyd Cushenberry III and Dan Moore Jr.
Without Elic Ayomanor, fellow rookie WR Chimere Dike stepped up. 5-44-1 and also scored another TD on special teams. He’s a fun player.
Same for rookie TE, Gunnar Helm. A DBro favorite, the former Texas TE is carving out a nice role in the Titans’ offense. Led team with six catches for 51 yards on seven targets. Out-produced Chig Okonkwo. Helm is actually on the TE streaming radar this week versus the Jaguars.
Also worth noting that Ward’s college teammate, Xavier Restrepo, also played here and saw seven targets (1 in the end zone and 65 incomplete air yards, 46% air yards share).
DT Shy Tuttle also got injured.

Washington Commanders
Add Chris Rodriguez Jr. | Hold/Add Jacory Croskey-Merritt | Sell Deebo Samuel & Zach Ertz
Chris Rodriguez Jr. recorded a season-high 79 rushing yards on 15 carries against the Dolphins in Week 11. His +25 rushing yards over expected were his 2nd-most in a game this season. Rodriguez recorded three explosive runs and forced four missed tackles on his rushes against the Dolphins, both his 2nd-most in his career. Rodriguez was most successful against Miami’s stacked box (8+ defenders), gaining 56 yards (+18 RYOE) and all three of his explosive runs on such carries (NGS).
C-Rod started and played 45% of the snaps. He looked good, and there’s no reason to think he will lose out on the RB1 role post-bye week. Still, this was a prime matchup, and C-Rod still ceded touches to Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols. However, the Commanders still have a decent schedule for the rest of the season for RBs. Specifically in the fantasy playoffs, the Giants/Cowboys is very juicy. Add C-Rod and hold/add JCM in case the backfield changes hands again. If he starts and bombs versus Denver…Bill could take back the RB1 role. Not like anybody has a vice grip on the starting gig. C-Rod is a bottom-10-graded RB this season per PFF. Coaches want all three RBs to play.
And Croskey-Merritt is probably on waivers. Add him. Most upside if he can re-gain the RB1 role.
Deebo Samuel caught seven of his eight targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Week 11. Six of Samuel’s seven receptions came against zone coverage, accounting for 77 yards and a touchdown. Samuel generated 57 yards after the catch, tying his season high, with 22 of those yards coming on a screen pass touchdown early in the third quarter.
Again…last chance to sell high on Deebo. Samuel’s tendencies to fall off in the second halves of seasons – especially in what looks like a lost year for Washington – are concerning. Samuel has finished outside the top-45 fantasy WRs in three of his last five games…despite averaging over six targets/game. Had it not been for the 28-yard reception late, Samuel would have finished under 50 yards for the fourth time in five weeks. He is averaging just 5.6 YAC/reception this season, more than 3 yards worse than his career average (9.0).
Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown both may also return after the bye week. And the Commanders also have the bottom-7 schedule for WRs in the games after the bye week.
Without his star quarterback, Zach Ertz has been a total non-factor this season when Marcus Mariota has been the starting QB. Four catches for 42 yards. The Commanders also have the worst TE schedule ROS (tied with the Bears).
Jaylin Lane was forced out of Sunday’s game against the Dolphins in Madrid during the third quarter due to a hip injury and is listed as questionable to return. Samuel Cosmi also got banged up in this international contest.
Jayden Daniels might also return after the bye week – but he is a stash if he was dropped. Hopefully, if he returns and shows health, he can be used against the Giants and Cowboys if you are hurting at QB – worth a speculative add.
However, based on the 5-6-week timeline…Minnesota or New York seems the most realistic return. Then there’s the case of whether Washington shuts him down in a lost season.
