Darren Waller Fantasy Football Outlook (ROS)
By Andrew Erickson (FantasyPros), Tue, Dec 16th 2025, 11:15am EST
Tua Tagovailoa finished with an average time to throw of 3.36 seconds in Week 15, the first qualified game of his career with a time to throw longer than three seconds.
He completed 4 of 6 attempts on dropbacks over 4 seconds for 60 yards and a touchdown, but his tendency to hold onto the ball led him to face 10 pressures (30.3% pressure rate) and take four sacks. It's the first time Tagovailoa has faced double-digit pressures in a game since Week 5 (Next Gen Stats).
Two of the passing TDs went to Darren Waller, who erupted in the second half with the Steelers playing more off coverage. The big-bodied TE caught 7 of 8 targets (29% target share) for 66 yards (also drew another two-point conversion attempt). He played the most TE snaps for Miami (not the case last week).
Add him and play him next versus the Bengals (and the following week versus Tampa Bay).
The schedule: No.1 for TEs rest of the season.
